Madara God Of Thickness it sure is not how it really work since one of the animators in the episode 5 did the part of the episode 110 when Goku has his new form and go at Jiren really fast and give him a kick.
I mean... They were getting used to the new animation because this movie was their first time using drawing like this. Dbs Broly, They re drew the film about 3 times. While on the other, they just went for it right off the bat.
I think the animation really lets this down, especially during the SSJ1 section of the fight. Some of the art actually looks pretty decent, and the color palette is miles above what they ended up using in the later episodes. The transformations are pretty much the peak art wise, and the digital effects is probably some of the series. The shot at 2:55 has particularly nice line weight variation and shading.
Jinx Frank No. The art in the fight was a bit wonky and surreal but the fight was very fluid and really nice visuals. People just pay way too much attention to the faces.
So no one else gonna notice how at the start of the fight, we see Gregory holding up a wall of king Kai’s house, showing it was destroyed, then when goku turns super saiyan 3, you see king kai and bubble run into a fully built. Just to see after the kamehameha it’s destroyed again with Gregory, bubbles, and king kai in it
Is the animation the same for battle of the gods. I skipped this part of the show cause it’s pretty much the movie. Same goes for the arc when Frieza returns
Not gonna to lie, this is still better than dragon ball super broly whole movie. This episode has masterpiece artwork frames and perfect shading. 9001/10
