In this video, I walk through first apartment essentials, what NOT to buy for your first apartment, other buying tips, and apartment tips for first time renters. First apartment shopping can be intimidating, but hopefully, this advice from what I learned from my first apartment can help on how to save money when apartment shopping and only buy what you actually need!

You give really good sound advice. I love my Nespresso also. I would suggest that instead of a slowcooker, buy an instapot. It slow cooks, pressure cooks, makes rice, yogurt, hard boiled eggs and more. Multifunctional is always better than single function. I use my instapot all the time as both a slowcooker and pressure cooker. I also skipped a dresser. An IKEA kallax in the closet took up less space and offered better functionality. The dyson was a wonderful buy. It also removes the need for a broom. Nice job!
