That [inaudible] at 1:12 sounds very much like "..tell 'em I love them man, tell 'em I love them" :(
Yes... I heard that as well... 🫤
Damn wish I didn't click the timestamp, gave me chills
Gutwretching.
I heard that as well 😢
Yes that's what I'm hearing to painfully sad
I'm a former ATC at Kenai Tower, I was still working there when this happened. That DC-4 lived right in front of the tower so I'd see it nearly every day. I felt so empty to look down on the ramp and still see the stains on the ramp from where it was parked...
The blancaliro channel brought me here great work
yep, insta subbed
local farmer said nothing left....RIP
*Sad update - officially confirmed that there have been found no survivors
Footage from local farmer shows left engine violent explosion midair.
*Initial comment*
I thought it's some older recording, but no, it happened April 23, 2024... Terrible news
Does anybody knows if they survived and if any casualties on the ground?
This one got me in the feels... :(
The missing text I after “beyond…” sounds like “7-mile Bluff”.
Really great video, excellent presentation, thank you!
Subscribed. Blancolirio sent me!
So very sad..RIP guys
Juan Brown Blancolirio sent me. Subscribed
Great catch!!
Thanks. Too many sad ones lately unfortunately.
west. To fly west for a final check. Very sad to hear the audio
Oh my God ...
Who would've guessed that Charlie Brown's teacher would one day fly a Pilatus
come on man lol read the room. you’re not wrong though
it's easy to say...but I would have not called the tower until stabilized, fly the plane first! hell with the radio!
Bear in mind that this audio is heavily edited. the audio from both FAI TWR and FAI APP/DEP were combined into one track (as well as some emergency frequencies) and the dead airspace between transmissions and a lot of non-relevant transmissions were cut out, leaving the impression that this all happened over a very brief period of time. In reality, several minutes had elapsed from the time they were cleared for takeoff to the time they told approach they needed to return. At the point them began to turn back, they were about 6 miles from the runway.
Their wing fell off after an explosion, they were controlling the plane up til that point
Airplane Down! Airplane Down! Avocado screamed.
