6:25 No, Immortal Songs is a show where artists from different genres can compite, either groups, soloists, duos, etc. Idols groups are not known for win that much this show. Before, Mamamoo was the only idols group to have won the show 3 times. Now Ateez join them, being the only boy group ever to have participated 4 times and won 3 of them.
The first time they won was their first time on the show, so it was really amazing. This show dedicate their episodes to one big artist or legend in Korea, and sometimes they invite the artist. The first one ateez were on, it was dedicated to Kim Jongkook, so they performed "Black Cat" (the one showed in the guide) in front of him, getting an standing ovation from him and the public. After that ateez released their own version of "Black Cat Nero" with an mv and Jongkook was there, and he is not known for doing that kind of stuff with idols
The second time they won it was a episode dedicated to Rain, ateez performed "It's raining", they won and Rain even said they were "The leaders of the next generation of kpop".
The last episode they won so far was dedicated to PSY, now PSY asked for ateez himself on the show, he said out of all idol groups lately he likes ateez the most and he wanted to see how they would perform one of his song, so he invited them. They won again and he called them "The future of kpop"

Actually all KQ trainees are now called KQ Fellaz, Ateez started it since they were the first KQ group in many years since Block B but they were manage by a sub company of KQ (7 seasons) so they are not derectly connected.
KQ wasn't even planning on creating a group until Hongjoong showed up in their studio with his mixtape wanting to be a part of the company, they didn't take it right away, their producer Eden told him that he will teach him if he learns certain thing by tomorrow (they were a lot) and he did, he saw how amitious he was and that how it started!
Their albums and songs are really good cause the company didn't know how long they're gonna last since the company was small and they made every album like it was their last but Ateez gain so much recognition for a group coming from a small company that even sold out 2 world tours (1 of them an arena tour) only 1 year after debut!
P.S. Wooyoung and San recently made a frienship tattoos "Armicus ad Aras" on their legs.
There are a lot of funny videos you can check to see how chaotic they are. The channels I recommend are "littlechoisan" and "seokjinmyfeels" :)

Eonnie, I think watching variety shows, music award shows (MAMA 2019-20), etc. where ateez are the guest or part of it likewise the known show for idols--weekly idol, the music program where ateez do compete and recreate the legendary singers---Immortal Songs 2, and lastly the show--- Kingdom: Legendary War. They show their characters and fun sides. But still like u said, I also recommend watching their pre-debut songs up to their latest. Thanks for this reaction! Alright so the official main dancers are Yunho, Mingi and Wooyoung. Yeosang and San got the "performer" titles later on. San is the most "recognised" by non-fans or new atinys as a great performer for his amazing stage presence and facial expressions. As the guide said he got the title "The man who will raise the standard of kpop" Also san has A LOT of rookies idols looking up to him for his performing skills. The list is LONG.
6:00 Yess, one of their biggest strength is their life performances, ateez are known for their OURSTANDING stage presence. Seriously, I've been a kpop fan for years now and the energy and stage presence ateez have i've not seen it anywhere else. Also their facial expressions, is my first time seeing a kpop group where ALL its members have great facial expressions. Top choreographers in korea as Lia Kim praised them because of that even before debut. Also seniors like Rain, PSY, Eric Nam, YoungK(day6), few members of SF9, and others have praised them a lot for their performing skills and some of them even said the first time they watched ateez on stage they thought it was a group of 5 years of more, not that they were rookies.
Another fact, once a reporter said that on music shows, when ateez performs, all the other idols stand by the monitos behind stage, watching ateez on the screen. So yes, they are really known for that.
i wouldn't say they got the performer titles later on? yeosang has always been a 'performer' in his official profile (lead dancer) and san is a performer is still not a performer in his profile (sadly)
@@nashwaf9 Don't rely completely on the "profiles" when hongjoong and seonghwa said themselves san has the title of a performer and that he would be mad if people don't accept/consider him like that. I mean is true maybe his profile doesn't say it, but he oficially got that title since long time ago, the members say it all the time

Another thing to add to Wooyoung's idol friends list is that he recently got close with iKON's Jay. In fact, the whole entire ATEEZ got close with iKON because they found out their dormitories are just 1 or 2 blocks apart.
Theres no main dancer in ateez bec all of them are. So i think, thats the reason why they are called performer.. outstanding performers. ❤️

Glad to see you getting more into ATEEZ, they are talented sweethearts (on crack). I'd recommend going in order bc of the storyline and certain recurring themes in their MV's and songs, but do as you feel comfortable. After the MV's I'd recommend their Kingdom performances, those are part of the storyline and some of their best live stages. (And currently they have won that Immortal songs music show 3 times - they have participated 4 times, and indeed it's for all kinds of music artists, not only idols)
Also some of their b-sides are their best songs and they have a lot of variety - good example would be The Leaders and Take Me Home from their newest Korean album as they show off their abilities in very different ways in those songs.
And about Seonghwa's rap, recently he has been doing rapping a bit more (and some of the other vocalists have tried that as well), but mostly he sticks to singing. But especially in last like 8 months when Mingi was on hiatus due mental health reasons (he just came back

just some side comments about little things you brought up:
- when you said you're into storylines i immediately looked at the txt poster in the back like HMM I can see that ! 😭 you'll def want to check out the 16 minute diary film ateez released as a look into their story + they have 2 diary booklets from the fever 1 and 2 albums
- yes, mingi gave himself the princess nickname, it comes from a cartoon with a similar name called princess minky ^-^ or magical princess minky or whatever djdjf
- yeosang and wooyoung's story is really sweet.. yeosang left first because he couldn't wait that long to debut, so i'm assuming if he and wooyoung hadn't left either or maybe both of them would've ended up in txt. which is insane to think about.
if you want to watch fun videos inbetween getting into their music and stuff, the channel littlechoisan is definitely a go to. they also have lotsss of different reality shows, fever road and treasure map are my favorites, they're very fun and easy to watch. sorry for the long essay TT and welcome to the fandom !!!

Yeah the reason why yeonjun and wooyoung are best friends is because they trained together around the same time and yeosang said that they both used to be the top bighit trainees which is why they were so close before wooyoung followed yeosang and left for KQ.
i just wanted to say my opinion about the main dancer or pefomer
it's different for me all ateez are top tier perfomers but main dancers/ lead dancers title is given by the campany for ateez there are 5 official main dancers (yunho mingi yeosan wooyong and san who was the last one to join this line) also,san is the lead vocalist of the group
and beside recommending their music mvs in order i also recommend treasure serie, fever road, wanted and their logs on ateez youtube channel
