I'm sure I'm not the only one, but I want to say Hell and High Water directed by Davide Mackenzie is a masterpiece. Chris Pine, Ben Foster and Jeff Bridges all kill it! Wonderful film!
Reign of fire was not a terrible movie…. and that’s an example of why you don’t trust everyone’s opinion about movies. You should experience it yourself.

A Quiet Place: Day One was a fantastic,, beautiful movie.
Inside out 2 totally has no family friendly competition out in theaters at the moment, Plus everyone's on summer break from school , that's why is making all that money 💰💰💰 releasing this movie in mid-june was a great idea
Which is why almost every Pixar movie since Cars 1 are released in the month of June
Agree! Also ever since Cars, PIXAR has always released in June with the only exceptions being The Good Dinosaur, Coco, and Onward/Soul/Turning Red
This movie felt like "One day in a quiet place", and not "A quiet place: day one". I found it incredibly lackluster, and it's clear that they don't know what to do with the monsters.
I think the lesson The Rock & Chris Evans need to learn is “don’t do movies with a color in the title”
I LOVED it. It was so surprisingly emotional and tense of course.
Highly recommended.

A Quiet Place: Day One surprised me! I thought it might be too similar to Cloverfield but they really were able to keep the story focused in the middle of all the chaos and Lupita briiiings it!!. I was sold after the marionette scene :)
Red One trailer gave me the same feeling of that Ryan Renolds and Will Ferrell Christmas movie.
Red One might be a fun movie, despite the trailer looking a bit silly, I’m totally down for seeing it

The new episode of The Boys really looks like the Jeffrey Dean Morgan character is hallucinated at the end. The captured guy doesn't seem to see him there.

HBO and MAX may just be labels for the same content, but it wouldn't be unheard of for them to botch it, like they did when they had three different apps in two years, each with its own exclusives.
I can't wait for that expansion of Babylon 5 that's gonna be cool.
Despite it being a prequel, because it's not about the Abbott's or really any characters we've met yet (Djimon being the only exception) I'm excited for more aliens and watching the characters learn how to navigate this world

When it comes to Thunderbolts. This is one of those projects I believe was Feiges plan from the start. Not one of the rushed ones Chapek ordered. And that it will be of good Iger era Marvel. So, yeah. Im hyped for it.
Saw a quiet place day one. I rather enjoyed it. Funny thing, horizon was playing also and more folks in the theater went to see that instead. But to eaches own. Dont miss out on the bike riders as well. Its good

43:32 I agree with this theory, but mostly because I've said it here before. Mutants coming from another Earth to be refugees on 616 Earth would set up an analog to the real life discourse around immigration. It also only needs that one "fear and hate" trigger for all the rest to follow: they're criminals, they want to take our land, they want to replace real Earthlings, they are contagious, they're stealing our kids, etc.
It is countered by what the FF movie may actually be but my full idea involved openjng to the FF of one planet working with the X-Men/Brotherhood geniuses of the other planet in the dimensional bleed between their two planets to build a device to prevent them having an incursion.
An interruption by an antagonist that sees a quicker solution as destroying one of the Earths endangers everyone, flinging them further into the Bleed until Dr. Strange and Clea show up to help.
Brought to Dr. Strange’s Earth, the Mutants are afflicted with a strange ailment, and the FF set out to discover the source (that conveniently puts the X-Men and Brotherhood out of the movie for it to be a truer FF movie). They discover that an airborne glogal nanite pathogen is what was responsible for preventing 98% of Earth mutations (hence rare occurrences like Namor, Ms. Marvel and Mr. Immortal) and affecting newly introduced refugees with active mutations.
Traced back to [insert culprits here] they disable the nanite pathogen generator, and not only do the refugee X-Men and Brotherhood recover, but new mutants start acrivating powers that were surpressed most of their lives.
This gives a natural segue into X-Men as a follow up to FF, and it makes FF itself a bit more attractive to audiences containing mutants and launching their story.
As for who's behind the nanite pathogen, take your pick of the following:
1. It was a centuries old Latverian feat by an ancestor of Doom for "reasons"
2. It was a millennia old Kree act to soften Earth by limiting Earthling powers
3. It wasn't a nanite pathogen, but the Terrigen Cloud that Inhumans need to activate their powers (connected to Kree)
4. Again not nanites, a magical spell sacrificing mutation to hold back the creatures of the night (basically the reversal of mutant suppression also allows Vampires, Werewolves, etc. to return from mass banishment)
4. Back to nanites, this was orchestrated by the Eternal Phastos as a humane way to prevent Earth being judged as a planet overrun by Deviants
5. Any of the above started the nanite solution, but Weapon Plus coopted it and counter it for their use of mutants as secret operatives.

I've watched the show but I have to ask... what is this "significance" you're speaking of? I like it, but the show seems like it barely matters in the grand scheme as far as I can tell. Maybe I'm missing something though because I haven't watched the 200+ episodes of animated shows, I dunno.
He's keenly aware his name is Grogu, it's the equivalent of a running gag, because his appeal (before the reveal of his name) was in being titled (and selling tons of merchandise) as Baby Yoda.

I agree Chris Evans needs to get a better agent or be more choosey with his roles. The movies hes been doing post marvel have been very underwhelming. He should just go back to mcu tho. Thats what we all want to see.

Also i know the acolyte is a sore subject on this show. But i thoroughly enjoyed eps 3,4, and 5. Ya they had some obvious problems, particularly regarding the twins. but the mystery of what happened and just getting more jedi stuff is enough to keep me engaged. Tbh if theres jedi and light sabers. Im in, no matter how many plot holes or bad dialog there is.
Andor is boring remove the Jedi the light sabers the sith that’s no longer Star Wars andor has none of that and Ashoka is great I don’t why he hates Rosario Dawson is dope as Ashoka
I found Andor incredibly boring too except for the episode that had Andy Serkis in it.
I'll never understand why people loved the original A Quiet Place as much as they did, let alone how it became such a successful franchise. The original movie was so bad it kind of blows my mind that anyone ever wanted a sequel to it.
