Found out today my sensor needs replacing. The car had been stalling and rough idling. Never saw an engine light though. Luckily it's still under warranty. 👍on the video.

I was prolly going 30 and it died never had it like that only if a car in front of me stopped and i break with my foot off the pedal as soon as I go back on the gas it would stall here and then
thank you so much!! my camry was doing the almost dying revving cycle and eventually giving out after a few rev’s. I did not know both sensors were going out and only replaced one with the same symptoms. so I then replaced the fuel pump thinking it was that, and now am going to replace the second sensor. thank you again for confirming my issues!!

So that's why my car is acting strange. Everything you said happens when a camshaft position sensor goes bad my car has done. Time for me to get a new camshaft position sensor.
Thank you i had all these issues and changed my vvt solenoid, oil change, and still didnt work, finally ordered new camshaft position sensors
Did it work?
This is what I'm going through right now. Changed the solenoids due to P0017 code and did an oil change. Car runs well except when i go to brake and slow down, it dies. Took it to run a diagnostic scan at AutoZone and we get code P000B camshaft sensor. Part comes in tomorrow and I'm PRAYING this fixes the issue otherwise I will have to take the car to Hyundai.

My 3.6 throws a p0309 and p0349 but ONLY on the highway when hot and under load. It's done this for years. I added Lucas oil treatment and it stopped. I think its cam phasers because I have replaced cam sensors and tested the plugs and wiring. The only thing that fixed it was the Lucas.no idea, but I wish I could get it fixed correctly
Finally! I got an answer besides replace the sensor, check your oil. I'll go run outside rn to check my connectors.

I have the same engine in my 2021 Dodge Challenger. My camshaft position sensor is saturated with oil does this happen often? I don't have a check engine light or rough idle.
I had both the rocker arms , lifters and camshafts changed on my 2015 Dodge Caravan. It cost a lot. Now my car ticks then stops ticking then repeats every 5 minutes or so. I don't have anymore money to fix it. What else could it be?
Replaced camshaft sensor. Mechanics said they checked all wires and all good. They told me that the carbon build up can be affecting the signal to the signal plate. This is the same as the sensor magnet ? Will carbon build up on this cause 340 code with same symptoms of bad sensor ? I have a g35 2003. My car has now gone through 2 mechanics and myself. Spent 800.00 now with still no fix.

I guess it depend on the motor but as a mechanic based on what I've seen no spark would Moreso be your ckp not the cmp. Based on ny experience it seems like the cam sensor tends to cause it not to have fuel nore than spark

What's meant by circuit B, Bank 1???????
A is intake side B is the exhaust side. 4 cylinder has only bank 1. v6 and v8's has bank 1 and 2
I have a fiesta st2 180 4cyl and it will not run right it dies out eventually and code for cam sensor shows and just misfires badly I had no idea the cam sensors can do this I always thought the crank sensor did the main timing and the cams for variable timing and would make it run rough not like it is.
