They teach this in finnish driving school. We don't look at it from mirrors, but make sure the backs of the cars are parallel. Then it works with also different sized vehicles :)
the real technique is that when you see the trunk at the corner of the back passenger window you should start to roll that steering wheel to right ! otherwise if the car is bigger you will hit it
As all here have said line the rears up and then follow the rest of the guide. If you line up the mirrors of a mini next to a minivan then put the lock on …crunch !
Lining up mirrors works for similar cars, but lining up rear axles is more universal. Also your doorhandles shouldn't be visible in your wing mirrors, if set up correctly. But, if it helps you get the knack of parallel parking... hey, whatever works.
This is a controlled experiment since the car in front of you is the same size car of the car behind you and the same size of your car. The same tricks won’t work if you are parking an suv and a sedan. Although in general this trick works sedan to sedan
The Black Passat is standing behind , but when the steering was rotated to make the wheels let the car go straight backwards , the Black Passat was shown to be standing in front . The car standing in front of the parking car is white and the Passat is behind it ...
Parallel parking was taught back in my day and that won't work with every car, you have to know your car for it to work and where each point is vs where it goes, so this video looks cool, but in reality it is different for every vehicle. I had to learn how to park with just my eyes and mirrors because I can't turn my head, so yeah, learning your vehicle is the key, not where the mirrors fall.
I wish everyone cared about the details their own vehicle...nice video, well done. But how do you get people to realistically care about others around them... Trying to be the example...🔥
great demonstration. 2 points though, you are too close at the beginning to the white car and too close to the car with your last turn into the car park. Every instructor will stop you and not allow you to proceed being that close. The rule for the distance is a door length. second point is even though every new car has power steering, it is bad for the system if you dry steer. Otherwise great technique
I literally love parallel parking.I actually want to get out and help people who don't know how to do it right. I just want to say let me in your car.I'll do it for you at no charge.Because I love it so much!
the people saying “that only works this and that” no. you look for a parking space that fits your car all the other cars doesn’t matter. you look for your own car if the parking space is enough. this technique is which i always use and never had problems with.
They are talking about lining up with the cars. Not all cars are the same length so using the mirrors as a guiding point is pointless unless your car is the same size as the cars that are already parked. Not because you won't fit, but because the angles would be different. for instance if the car in front had a longer rear, then lining up with the mirrors on it would put you too far forward to correctly angle yourself to back into the spot. If the rear car is wider, then lining up with the corner of the front of the car would put you too far over and you would end up in the grass. It's basic geometry.
Did this lots of times in Pennsylvania, as on-street parking rules in the many towns and cities, including Philly. No tech needed, just good eyes and experience.
That only worked because the car infront was identical, bumper to bumper then 360, wing mirror to bumper 360 back. Then 360 when you see the curb lined with door handle in the wing mirror.
That's only if the other cars are parked perfectly 😅
And you don't have to look at other traffic around you, but you're so right!
And are same brand, model and size.
Look at the space she has and the perfect lines to help her 😆
Don’t forget how close the parking space is
Yep your fecked if the other cars are hugging the lines
Meanwhile everyone in Europe: this looks big enough to park 2 cars.
Meanwhile in France: I'll just give the car in front a little nudge so we can fit two cars in this space.
in india it's 3 or even 4. room for some bikes too
In India we thought we could park a lorry
With that distance between the other two cars you could park a truck
With no backups
I’m cracking up! 😂 I was thinking the same! 😂🤣😭
Точно! Вообще проблемы не вижу!
😂😂😂
Only if you're an asshole
This would only apply to same size cars unfortunately.
They teach this in finnish driving school. We don't look at it from mirrors, but make sure the backs of the cars are parallel. Then it works with also different sized vehicles :)

😂😂😂 yess
That's true. I'm driving a big car/truck and it's hard to fit in in-between 😅
I loved how the black car suddenly came at front and then again went back at the end 😂
Very observant
Both cars stayed where they were from the start.
Bro 😂
Look ath the mirror frame bruh@@aniruddhsali
Explain😢
She started reversing wearing jeans then mid manoeuvre she swapped to a skirt then finished off in jeans. Brilliant 🙏
Here I am looking for the circled spots and you are looking at her legs 😂
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. WTF?
This clip took 50 years to make...
She slapped her red bass hole then this dog fart sprayed out
U r also brilliant.
That's exactly how my driving instructor taught me. Greetings from Germany! 🇩🇪
This works when you have same car model in front of you.... Try this with SUV or other cars and be ready for insurance.
That's literally how you are taught to parallel park in Europe from day 1 ... And you could fit 2 cars into that spot
Lining up mirrors works for similar cars, but lining up rear axles is more universal. Also your doorhandles shouldn't be visible in your wing mirrors, if set up correctly.
But, if it helps you get the knack of parallel parking... hey, whatever works.
With that so much space you could park anyhow
You’d be surprised 😅
You can land a jumbo jet in that space
Yeah I mean who needs a technique with that much space XD
I could pull head front first into that spot haha
True, she could have pulled that little car in.
I kind of suck at parking but I can nail parallel parking because of this exact technique, def works.
What to do if no cars are parked beside.
LMAO😂
Love the play on 50 years of driving experience that doesn't sound weird at all if it's a basic thing taught in every drive school in your country.
You'll know you're really proficient when you can parallel park into a spot that is only 1 foot longer than your vehicle.
This is a controlled experiment since the car in front of you is the same size car of the car behind you and the same size of your car. The same tricks won’t work if you are parking an suv and a sedan. Although in general this trick works sedan to sedan
LoL, the front bumper paint exchange tells me all I need to know. Also, the rest of the editing is just fun.
Bro😂
😂
Point 1- adjust ur side mirrors perfectly
Well and good when the car you’re parking behind is the same model and length as yours.
since the 70s.I've been pulling straight into parallel parking. 😆
Women technique.
That's OK if you've got two parks!
I learned this in driving school 52 years ago. When I took the test I was the only one who passed the parking
I did the first two steps correctly and then one guy started guiding me. I crashed onto the car behind😅
The Black Passat is standing behind , but when the steering was rotated to make the wheels let the car go straight backwards , the Black Passat was shown to be standing in front .
The car standing in front of the parking car is white and the Passat is behind it ...
This exactly the way Mr. Beasley taught us in 1972...well done!
I learned to drive from Austin Powers
Yes you should pull up to the front car ,but only match the mirror if you have the same size car.
What if no car in the front or the back how to park? Could you show please 😂😂😂😂
Itne space mei toh truck khada kr du 🤣🤣🤣
That's alot of parking space there man😂
The first part you are supposed to lineup the back bumper.
Line up your rear axle. Works better when cars are different lengths
Parallel parking was taught back in my day and that won't work with every car, you have to know your car for it to work and where each point is vs where it goes, so this video looks cool, but in reality it is different for every vehicle. That’s only when there is no traffic from other sides😂
I wish everyone cared about the details their own vehicle...nice video, well done. But how do you get people to realistically care about others around them... Trying to be the example...🔥
🎯🎯🎯
Proven!
I drive almost 30 years now and am famous for my perfect parking. 🙏🏻
50 years of driving experience😮
& her hands are so young 😂😂
DONT use the mirrors to be parallels as a starting point, cause ur car can be smaller, ALWAYS use the cars backsides
great demonstration. 2 points though, you are too close at the beginning to the white car and too close to the car with your last turn into the car park. I'm watching despite not owning one😂
😂😂😂
That parking space looks big enough to just drive in.
Instructions unclear, my Limousine got wrecked
I try this.. yeah perfect parking lol😅😅😂
That is how i throw smokes in CS.
Summary: looking into side mirrors are most important in parking.
My driving instructor taught me this when I was learning to drive at 17. I've always used it and works every time I am now 69.
I literally love parallel parking.I actually want to get out and help people who don't know how to do it right. I just want to say let me in your car.I'll do it for you at no charge.Because I love it so much!
"Why is taking you so long to park? "
"I'm just adjusting my mirror all the way down so i can see the handle of my door"
"👁👄👁"
Even after 50 years of driving experience you don't know that every car is not of the same length !!
This works. I always line up my back bumper with the one in front & aim my back corner to the other back corner then pull forward.
exactly how i was taught to parallel park. works every time
Learned this when I worked for the post office. Works every time!
Me who parked so perfectly like this years back in Dr.Driving
Perfect lesson with east method ❤❤❤
If you have trouble parallel parking a Jetta, surrender your drivers license immediately. Can literally park that thing on a quarter.
Thank you for video and music❤❤❤
Learned this technique on the first day of my driving class.
try to align the mirror of your hatchback car with a sedan and reverse you end up hitting both trunks
I just drive a motorcycle so I can park easily 😂
I got one never found parallel parking hard. It's one of the most easiest things to me. Even with tight spaces and I drive a Town and country van.
Thanks I'm a kid this will help when I get a car thanks
Be careful what you measure against, some Ute's are much longer at the rear, you'll hit the tray for sure. A lot of assumptions in this clip.
I want to like this video 1000 times. Thank you
the people saying “that only works this and that” no. you look for a parking space that fits your car all the other cars doesn’t matter. you look for your own car if the parking space is enough. this technique is which i always use and never had problems with.

Passed my drivers test! Had to park like this and it was perfect!🙌
Когда столько свободного места можно вообще передом парковаться
Even got time mid maneuver to get changed.
Never turn you wheels without moving.
Did this lots of times in Pennsylvania, as on-street parking rules in the many towns and cities, including Philly. No tech needed, just good eyes and experience.
This is how we are taught to park in Poland. It works even if there is less space or cars are not perfectly parked.
Well idea of teaching.
LOL! Like the applause at the end. That was funny. -b
Пока парковалась, успела джинсы на юбку переодеть! Ас!
The clap sound at end 👏
This is exactly how i park on a busy streets many times. It's crazy that some of my neighbors can't pull this off.
Glad someone figured out how to park. This will work for some but not everyone and not every time u park.
Yeah try doing that with traffic from behind honking. That's the real skill. U gotta be quick and accurate at the same time.
This technique using uae driving licence trained person😮
Who cares about other drivers. They can wait. Stop stressing.
My car has 360° camera. Makes your job much easier to park in situations like this
That only worked because the car infront was identical, bumper to bumper then 360, wing mirror to bumper 360 back. Then 360 when you see the curb lined with door handle in the wing mirror.
I have always gone with the feel when parking and I have never bumped into any cars
Thats how my driving instructor taught me but different cars have different Qs
That’s how I was taught to do it in drivers Ed in 1975
Love you driving 🚗 skills
Please come to Delhi, India and challenge to use this 😅
Back in the 70's, learning to parallel park was a standard maneuver that we had to learn as part of Driver's Ed.
in Uruguay it is part of the test. And you have a lot less extra space to park. If you live in a city is how you need to park.
We learn this technique in Poland on driving courses for ages!
Thanks . I tried this next to an 18 wheeler , now I got some explaining to he insurance to do
Nicely Done 👍🏆🥇
Even without cameras i used to park more congested parking.. It's just a mind calculation.. Nothing else
If you’re parking this same car in the same spot with the same amount of room… then this will work fantastically
Zabardast 👏🎉👍
No curb to negotiate. That's pretty common in the states. Also, cars come in many sizes here. Don't think it'll work.
That’s literally how they tell you I’m driving school
Отличное видео по правильной парковке👍
It s so funny that parallel parking is seen as exotic in the US
Try doing this in a tesla
Its all fun and games until an angry pack of city drivers is behind you lol the pressure is on
Сейчас предстоит это делать, тренировка❤
It's called parallel parking. We've been doing it since the wheel was invented.
Thank u
Been doing this since i was 17, had driving lessons from a cop haha
With so much space I could park forward
Learnt frim Dr. Driving game😂😂
