I'm only 14 years old and I wish that I was around when genesis was ! I have only seen Phil 1 on the not dead yet tour and it was incredible!!! I don't give a damn if people in my school laugh at me as I will always love genesis ❤️💔😭

I saw that tour at Camp Randall stadium at the university of Wisconsin. Largest open air concert Ive ever been to. They filled the entire stadium with excellent sound and awesome eye candy of a production. Beautiful weather that night on top of it. I was 20 years old at the time. Now I'm 46. Still my favorite band

The site co-ordinator for this show was supposed to be Dixie Swanson according to the tour itinerary, but sadly he suffered a heart attack and died during the tour. The band dedicated this show to him. John Conk fills Dixie's shoes.
Indeed, the tour appears to have been quite stressful for all involved, as tour director Andy Mackrill writes in the doodle box for the information pertaining to the Knebworth show (under details of travel and accommodation arrangements):
"To the 200 plus people who kept this thing moving...
Could this be the end? If it is, then I for one will be not be sad. _[sic]_ This tour has been very hard for us all. It is not something I would wish to relive again. There have been some fun times and there have been many nightmares.
If we do meet again, then I hope it is in a more relaxed environment. Have a good trip home and a well earned rest. Against the odds you made it happen. THANK YOU!
    Andy."
The itinerary can be found on The Genesis Archive - thegenesisarchive.co.uk

Why did they have to drop the key of the song? Phils vocal range was still quite versatile during this time

Maybe it is his mick, or other sound issue.
