Ever since she got buffed playing her with 3 marks, Wanwan got a lot of nerfs. Reverting her passive from 3 marks to 4 would be the best. If the developers want to make Wanwan easier to play, then they should rework her second skill where when hit with enemies 2 marks are automatically removed. As Wanwan main, I'm fine playing her with 4 marks.

Remove the purity but in exchange bring back her stun on her 1st skill for some survivability knock back alone isnt enough because you want to unlock her ult as fast as possible, yes there might be some situations that knock back is good but for me the stun on her first skill is better because you can use it defensively and offensively

If they wanna make people stop complaining about no purify. They should increase the CD, but when used it resets first skill CD. Buff first skill and making it the darts gain passive abilities and gains 60% attack speed late game.

Perhaps devs should change wanwan skill 2 to be an attack speed and maybe a def buff(but balance it to not benefit from inspire somehow), so wanwan players have a choice to play with purify/shield instead of inspire spell. I don't think that knockback would save u in any situation

Just 1 instance of damage block within 2 secs of activation, just the DAMAGE, not the CC. Can easily be cancelled by a timely normal attack by an enemy, but can also be used to absorb a damage of huge damage spells. I feel that thats fair.
Let's do a hypothetical, if wanwan doesn't have her purify she can only go onto whoever is in the frontline. Usually it's going to be the tank engaging onto her or assassin right? Funny thing is that once wanwan gets her ult it's super easy to escape from it by just flickering out of it before she can start attacking its so silly. Next, the reason why at present tanks hesitate to engage wanwan is because she has purify built in so they'd be giving her a free ultimate. In that regard it's a nerf because she can't stop the engage. Alternatively, let's look at why she's so bad right now. She's an attack speed scaling hero meaning she cannot or is very limited to a 1 or 2 items to prevent her from dying and it results in major drops in damage output and even then there're cases where that isn't enough. As a marksman she has extremely low base hp, so when going versus absolute bullshit like lesley, even with defense items you're going to get 2 shot. And in ideal situations it'll take you 1.5s to get all 3 weaknesses when lesley can click auto twice and you wan2 die. So realistically she needs a range buff and a scaling buff if they want to keep the purify removal such that with enough attack speed you can still dodge enemies that are chasing you on foot by which I mean for example, claude in his ultimate or at least such that when dashing she exceeds 350 movespeed.

There's no use of her atk spd without purify because she needs to get closer or get around the target to activate her ult and the knock back in her second skill will not help her, without the purify everyone can stop her.

Hi, I'm a wan wan main from the Philippines and my opinion is that, wan wan should have more range to her basic attack so that it will be fair when fighting and escaping an enemy. especially with the purify effect is now deleted 🥺.

@@4vatarnick yes. imo the reason wanwan is barely used before is because only a few people aware of the attack assist toggle option. so majority of the player use wanwan, but still walking - not dashing. only after moonton decided to reduce the WP to 3, wanwan become popular again. this time, many player discovered that wanwan can operate by dashing and without boots altogether. it becomes a game changer.
sure, 4 WP is harder to hit. but as the player base gets more accostumized to her now, hitting 4 WP of enemy's frontline (tank, support, fighter) wont be a problem anymore. it balances things out especially if we can freely select the ult target.

I still think she needs purify back, its a core part of wanwan. But also, she's not as in need of a buff as, say, zhask, or other heroes in the forgotten corner. But zhask also needs a bug fix: TLDR: Zhask's spawn counts as both a creep and hero unit at the same time and the wall hitboxes suck. (I noticed that the damage problems seem to affect all summoned units, but neither sun nor vex seem as badly affected as Zhask, but please correct me if I'm wrong). Can we get a zhask bug fix? His spawn takes full damage from both retribution and dhs (which makes helcurt one shot my ult or me and my passive, and it takes two instances of damage from cursed helmet, one normal and one 350%) and he can't ult in minsi's anti-dash field under any circumstance, even when its an on the spot morph, the wall's hitboxes are just broken(I often clearly teleport over a wall and stay on the same side), if you activate his ultimate but subsequently die before morphing, the ultimate goes on cooldown despite the fact that it hasn't really been cast (I think most of us would love i-frames during the morphing phase- between triggering and being in it) and all in all its just annoying to play sometimes. (I know "TLDR" means "too long didn't read", but when I first wrote this I thought it meant "too long don't read".)
Im a former wanwan main now using natalia, but i miss the purify at the same time its actually very useful. Due to the cause of not just being a "knock-back skill" but because its better if wanwan attacks further from enemies, cause shes very squishy.
As this my 2nd main this is helpful but removal of anti CC, let see this in real battles. The last nerf it adjusted my builds adding boots to corrotion scyte as an early item until I get windtalker. Let us hope for the best for wan2 :)
The only rightful adjustment to Wanwan is to make her passive have 4-5 weakness points again not 3, it's overkill and too easy to trigger which is why she's OP. It's not just Wanwan being able to deal ridiculous dmg while immune to all attacks in the whole duration of her ult. It's because she can trigger it way too easily, I mean she has insane mobility and bringing back her purify on 2nd skill back will definitely make her 'balance'.

Purify is such a essential part of her kit. It was basically the only thing saving her from heroes that rely on their cc like Eudora. but weirdly enough counters heroes that have one chance to dash towards her like Gusion (which you can replicate with flameshot).
because in basic attack damage she is behind other mm. Her entire gimick is she has higher mobility and her ult is her main thing to win team fights is her ult which is locked behind weakness breaks. If she sits in back like normal mm and spams basic attacks the other mm will almost always do more damage.

What I don't like is the fact that they removed her "one time" crucial purify even though they made Hanabi convert "all shield sources" as a means of cc immunity.
Now you'll need to bring the stun from first skill back or whats the use, you wont even be alive to unlock your ult when your first skill is only an immobilizer and second skill is a knockback for some reason, just a simple knockback. nah even with insane amount of buff on her skills her skill 2 without purify is just dashing around death if you counter stun
I still think she needs purify back, its a core part of wanwan. But also, she's not as in need of a buff as, say, zhask, or other heroes in the forgotten corner. But zhask also needs a bug fix:
TLDR: Zhask's spawn counts as both a creep and hero unit at the same time and the wall hitboxes suck. (I noticed that the damage problems seem to affect all summoned units, but neither sun nor vex seem as badly affected as Zhask, but please correct me if I'm wrong).
Can we get a zhask bug fix? His spawn takes full damage from both retribution and dhs (which makes helcurt one shot my ult or me and my passive, and it takes two instances of damage from cursed helmet, one normal and one 350%) and he can't ult in minsi's anti-dash field under any circumstance, even when its an on the spot morph, the wall's hitboxes are just broken(I often clearly teleport over a wall and stay on the same side), if you activate his ultimate but subsequently die before morphing, the ultimate goes on cooldown despite the fact that it hasn't really been cast (I think most of us would love i-frames during the morphing phase- between triggering and being in it) and all in all its just annoying to play sometimes.

Im a former wanwan main now using natalia, but i miss the purify at the same time its actually very useful. Due to the cause of not just being a "knock-back skill" but because its better if wanwan attacks further from enemies, cause shes very squishy.

As this my 2nd main this is helpful but removal of anti CC, let see this in real battles. The last nerf it adjusted my builds adding boots to corrotion scyte as an early item until I get windtalker. Let us hope for the best for wan2 :)

The only rightful adjustment to Wanwan is to make her passive have 4-5 weakness points again not 3, it's overkill and too easy to trigger which is why she's OP. It's not just Wanwan being able to deal ridiculous dmg while immune to all attacks in the whole duration of her ult. It's because she can trigger it way too easily, I mean she has insane mobility and bringing back her purify on 2nd skill back will definitely make her 'balance'.

Purify is such a essential part of her kit. It was basically the only thing saving her from heroes that rely on their cc like Eudora. but weirdly enough counters heroes that have one chance to dash towards her like Gusion (which you can replicate with flameshot).
Does other marksmen have a chance against Eudora? Why would Wanwan receive a special treatment having a free purify?
because in basic attack damage she is behind other mm. Her entire gimick is she has higher mobility and her ult is her main thing to win team fights is her ult which is locked behind weakness breaks. If she sits in back like normal mm and spams basic attacks the other mm will almost always do more damage.
@@Gapetz because unlike other mm, she needs that purify for survival so she can ULT. No ULT means she is useless, other mm don't have that kind of kit that is too demanding. By demanding I mean require some conditions to be met to activate like wanwan ultimate. U just have to press the button and that's all but Wanwan is more challenging in that aspect in teamfights.

It wouldve been better if they revamped her second skill to stun instead of knockback. It just doesnt fit her play style where u have to move around the enemy to unlock weakness. Im having doubt that Devs had never used wanwan b4
What I don't like is the fact that they removed her "one time" crucial purify even though they made Hanabi convert "all shield sources" as a means of cc immunity.

Now you'll need to bring the stun from first skill back or whats the use, you wont even be alive to unlock your ult when your first skill is only an immobilizer and second skill is a knockback for some reason, just a simple knockback.

in my 5 years of gaming(mlbb) I've never lost a game to a wanwan(except one I Don't wanna talk about it but since then) . She is too predictable. Only an idiot would expose their back to wanwan. I usually set a trap and bait her into it because I know when she is engaging. But now she is pathetic . I feel sad when playing against her because it's a definite loss for her team.😢😢

I don't think this matter really when she can just be one shotted with cc now. If they heard us they wouldn't have removed her purify as she is still weak. What's the use of movement speed on her attacks if she can just be stunned or cced with no chance of escaping.
