    When it’s important to show all the details of what is happening, multi-camera filming is key. In this case, you choose the shooting positions and shot sizes in advance, and then, during the editing, create a complete picture of what’s going on.
    Here’s our video about combining shots:

    In this episode, we’re going to talk about a static multi-camera shoot, for example, an interview. This approach to shooting is also suitable for performances, sports matches, and music videos.
    Some tips from the video:
    Set a starting point - a short, standout moment that will mark the beginning of the program and synchronize the three different plans. Clap!
    There is no need for a professional video editing program. You can do multi-cam editing even with simple software. You just need to place your different video feeds on top of each other.
    If you are shooting an interview, show close-ups more often.
    Don’t forget to adjust the balance and volume of the audio tracks so that they are at the same level.
    And don’t forget about background music - it can make your video feel complete.

    Proposal: don't delete the other perspectives (you might want to use them later on in the process) - just hide them (right mouse click - hide clip)

    If three cameras are being used; just enable one camera with audio and disable the audio from the other two cameras. Keep the short range camera volume active; only.

    I just came across this video. It helps a lot. I've been trying to synchronise my multi-cam footage placed in separate tracks in movavi video suite. You suggested using audio displays to synchronise them. However, it is difficult to synchronise them perfectly by dragging the videos in the tracks. It is always a few seconds off. Is there a way of sliding the one video in the track against another so they can be perfectly synchronised?

    One Question, when doing the multicam video shoot, should I make video in one shoot even when I mess up couple times in the video and later edit it? or shoot a video while doing start recording and stopping and so on.

    i've been testing out the animation tool and I found it handy but sometimes its really difficult to get all the animation points at the same distance from each other. Maybe you could make a tool where you could put the points in a rhythm. it would make the animation tool a lot better. Thank you!

    Thanks so much for the video. Have one question, trying to shoot an intersection and it’s signal lights. I am in the middle of the intersection. Obviously I need a camera to shoot the wide angle shot but how do I shoot the four signal lights facing the intersection. These four lights need to appear using the split screen but how do I shoot them?
    Thank you

    • @MovaviWorld
      @MovaviWorld  Pƙed 2 lety

      Please specify how the traffic lights are turned and how the final frame should look like? Should all 4 traffic lights and the entire intersection be visible in the video?

    • @headsupsts
      @headsupsts Pƙed 2 lety

      @@MovaviWorld thanks for the quick reply. The signal are facing toward the center for the cars in each direction to see and the final frame would be the entire intersection. For example when it is time for the traffic to move north the lights facing south would turn green. Need to show the wide angle of traffic moving and a close shot of that light signal turned green and at the same time the south traffic is moving as well and that signal is turned green

    • @MovaviWorld
      @MovaviWorld  Pƙed 2 lety

      For such a task, the split-screen technique is really suitable: cars will move on one part of the screen, and a traffic light will shine on the other close-up.

    • @headsupsts
      @headsupsts Pƙed 2 lety

      Thank you. How many cameras are needed to shoot this? The editing part and the split screen I understand. My problem is the shooting part. Appreciate it.

    • @MovaviWorld
      @MovaviWorld  Pƙed 2 lety +1

      One camera will suffice. With one take to remove the movement of cars, with the second take a traffic light.
