When itâs important to show all the details of what is happening, multi-camera filming is key. In this case, you choose the shooting positions and shot sizes in advance, and then, during the editing, create a complete picture of whatâs going on.

In this episode, weâre going to talk about a static multi-camera shoot, for example, an interview. This approach to shooting is also suitable for performances, sports matches, and music videos.
Some tips from the video:
Set a starting point - a short, standout moment that will mark the beginning of the program and synchronize the three different plans. Clap!
There is no need for a professional video editing program. You can do multi-cam editing even with simple software. You just need to place your different video feeds on top of each other.
If you are shooting an interview, show close-ups more often.
Donât forget to adjust the balance and volume of the audio tracks so that they are at the same level.
And donât forget about background music - it can make your video feel complete.

Exactly what I was searching for. Very informative, useful, and easy to follow along. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Thank YOU for watching!
Proposal: don't delete the other perspectives (you might want to use them later on in the process) - just hide them (right mouse click - hide clip)
Thank you so much for your precious advice!
I would think the risk of tracks moving would be less too
If three cameras are being used; just enable one camera with audio and disable the audio from the other two cameras. Keep the short range camera volume active; only.
thanks
So what about ve sound from the mic đ€
@@mosiagaming9871 You can easily edit out the whole volume with the editing software.

@@trvpjaiden8773 what do you want to know
I just came across this video. It helps a lot. I've been trying to synchronise my multi-cam footage placed in separate tracks in movavi video suite. You suggested using audio displays to synchronise them. However, it is difficult to synchronise them perfectly by dragging the videos in the tracks. It is always a few seconds off. Is there a way of sliding the one video in the track against another so they can be perfectly synchronised?
One Question, when doing the multicam video shoot, should I make video in one shoot even when I mess up couple times in the video and later edit it? or shoot a video while doing start recording and stopping and so on.
Great well thought out video. Going to be very useful in one of my upcoming videos on how to build a pc, need to have one camera focused on the PC, while another is on me, and another as an overhead. Thanks for making this video
Glad it was helpful!

Hello. Can you use different brands of camera or they all have to be 1 brand.
thank you so much
You're welcome!)
OlĂĄ, neste caso nĂŁo seria muito mais fĂĄcil e rĂĄpido usar uma mesa de corte?

We are so glad to hear that!
THANK YOU SO MUCH
You're welcome!
@@MovaviWorld I was constantly switching between cameras like in a livestream
Can you change voice like distorted audio in some clips?
i've been testing out the animation tool and I found it handy but sometimes its really difficult to get all the animation points at the same distance from each other. Maybe you could make a tool where you could put the points in a rhythm. it would make the animation tool a lot better. Thank you!
Thanks for your feedback!
We'll send your suggestion to our developing team :)

does anyone have the solution for the export issue in 2021. driving me mad. I can export video that's not been edited, the moment I edit clips, when I go to export, it just says 'calculating' and never goes over 0%. I love movavi but this is frustrating.
Hey Movavi, I've purchased your product, n use it for all my guitar covers. N thanks for this useful video. Could you please share insta of the Movavi guest? She looks fab! Thanks!
Hi there, if i create a video and some clips are at 30fps and some are 60 fps which one would i use in my movavi edit software where to pick the frame rate for the video? cheers
Hi! If you're not planning to make slow motion clips, go for 30fps :) To choose the desired frame rate, you'll have to click on Export > Advanced
Cool thanks for.....
Is there a way to capture from multiple cameras?
Host look similar to Ana Alexander
Wow I love this so you can shoot with one camera and edit look like 3 camera??
great topic Please mor about Multicam with videoeditor15
Thanks so much for the video. Have one question, trying to shoot an intersection and itâs signal lights. I am in the middle of the intersection. Obviously I need a camera to shoot the wide angle shot but how do I shoot the four signal lights facing the intersection. These four lights need to appear using the split screen but how do I shoot them?
Thank you
Please specify how the traffic lights are turned and how the final frame should look like? Should all 4 traffic lights and the entire intersection be visible in the video?
@@MovaviWorld thanks for the quick reply. The signal are facing toward the center for the cars in each direction to see and the final frame would be the entire intersection. For example when it is time for the traffic to move north the lights facing south would turn green. Need to show the wide angle of traffic moving and a close shot of that light signal turned green and at the same time the south traffic is moving as well and that signal is turned green
For such a task, the split-screen technique is really suitable: cars will move on one part of the screen, and a traffic light will shine on the other close-up.
Thank you. How many cameras are needed to shoot this? The editing part and the split screen I understand. My problem is the shooting part. Appreciate it.
One camera will suffice. With one take to remove the movement of cars, with the second take a traffic light.
I truly loved using Movavi due to it's simplicity however, I believe your software has a few glitches that makes editing and uploading very frustrating. Unfortunately, I had to switch to Power Editor.đđđ
Hello! Thanks for your feedback. Can you be more specific about the glitches? Did you address the issue to our support team?
Nice. Good explanation. But audio is irritating when changing cams high pitch and low pitch
I was completely lost in how you were able to edit the videos and audio etc.
thanks movavi once again ...................
Thanks for watching :)

Where I can find this function(cover for multi cam) on Mac Version?
You mean multi screen (split screen) cover?
Movavi Vlog yes

Is this how people do product reviews where it goes from them holding a product to just a close up of the product?
Đ roduct reviews are done in many ways, this is one of the popular schemes :)
@@MovaviWorld Thank you.
Terrible multicam. How can i see the three cameras and just click in the one i want?
Good info, but referring to Ellen is not interesting. No one watches that, is it still on or just reruns? Stick with movie editing, stay away from radicals.
Hi! Thanks for your feedback :)
We took Ellen just as an example as her show has the necessary frame composition for the interview. You can apply these rules to any show or interview.
You talk too fast. No every one speek your language
Yossi Frimer you can slow down the video by slowing down the video speed. I usually speed up videos
