As a Helldiver I can confirm this is live actual gameplay footageish.
Sunday was me and 2 friends first dive, we landed next to a flame thrower and unexploded ordnance, we were all dead in the first minute.
115% based on actual experience/ real footage/ etc.

Those 'Here!' moments at the beginning were super awesome. Using the Starcraft II marines' voices, and then for the final decision using commander Raynor's voice, absolute gems. ♥
The pelican smashing a team mate, then dropping on a team mate running to the pelican while jump diving 3 times was fkn hilarious
Then crawling that last bit because they missed again.

In the great state of Misery. Missouri's boring, all the mediocrity and poverty of West Virginia or Alabama but without a good sports team. Fort Bragg, or whatever it's called now, at least had a beach within driving distance, and a state bird that wasn't the mosquito.

Most people (probably) won't get it, but the "The Army Goes Rolling Along" song is the official song of the US Army and is played at the end of EVERY ceremony done by the Army. Written by a 1LT in Field Artillery, it became adapted for general Army use after it was re-orchestrated a decade or two later after it was written in the early 1900s.
In short, a hilarious patriotic-focused detail for our managed democracy that involves a lot of....friendly fire
I thought it was expertly added in the movie Sgt Bilko.

These are the only videos I watch about helldivers honestly. Its a game that is so unreasonably fun to play and so consuming that watching it played adds nothing. Only a creative interpretation of it adds something!
