The mech struggling to fire into the bug hole is simply frustratingly true
The mech is so big that the 3rd person line of fire from the rocket pod just ends up waaay off center for any target closer than medium range.
Some people just don’t understand basic physics. If the launcher is on the left and high up every shot will be coming from that angle. If the super destroyer isn’t directly above you then you risk getting hit by incoming orbitals if it’s behind you. If you’ve ever thrown anything irl then you know you need to arc something higher if you want to lob it farther. Football players don’t throw the ball straight forward they angle it up a little. C’mon guys
You should try using the impact grenades, the outer rim of the bug holes and bot factories should take at least 30-50% of the damage instead of the current system where you need a direct hit on the sweet spot or it means nothing at all, the impact grenades can supposedly kill a charger in 2-3 hits now but unless you're spot on with your aim they're useless at closing bug holes
@@wesir427 i mean if you think about it; the grenades can be re-supplied to ya, the rockets however is another story entirely

As a certified helldiver i approve that this is a genuine walker experience
well they forgot the part where when it lands the bugs are already on top of you and blow up the mech
I think the best part of Helldivers is that you can have a prepped stratagem, get staggered, drop it, and it activates on its own, sealing your fate and that of everything around you. The sheer ways you can die from comical accidents is part of the fun.
it took me quite some time to get it, but now i can't forget it, the best death (?) are from fellow helldiver accidentally killing you, not from beg nor bots, those doesn't count!
A prepped 500kg stratagem is a great way to deal with a team mate who likes knocking people over.
Except in this instance he called down a 180mm or 300mm, both of which I'm 90% sure barely scratched the enemy
lol had this happen on a bot clearing mission once bot got me after i'd prepped walking barrage and it ended up winning us the mission
best friend kept accidently killing me on my first playthrough. if it were a rando, I'd have been frustrated, but she's my best friend so I always found it hilarious when my torso and an arm went flying xD
I'm starting to believe the most effective Helldivers are suicide bombers.
Helldiver: "I want an orbital strike at this location."
Fire Control: "That happens to be *your* location."
Helldiver: "Did I stutter?"

I have never seen an animation so EFFETIVLEY explain an experience without a single word used. No dialog, no narration. Yet still, perfectly summed up my experience with this game XD.

Carbot's visuals made me realize that a game like this could have EASILY been made in the Starcraft universe. I'm happy for Helldivers but I'm also saddened that I've lived to see not only the best of Blizz during the 90's and 00's but also its lowest, and they could still fall even lower.

That last one. I've done that. I've seen I was about to be overrun by bugs, prepared an orbital bombardment and as the bugs got me it dropped and activated. If you're not willing to shell your own position you're not willing to win.
the amount of times i have failed to call in stratagems at critical times made that last one physically painful to watch xD
Thanks for keeping the top notch military choir going!!! Military ensembles are one of the more viable career paths for kids/music performance majors coming out of music schools in the United States. Those young men singing for Democracy are probably some of the best vocal graduates of their birth years ^_^

It's not a glitch, you have to watch certain percentage of video to count as "watched" but you can like instantly

As a Helldiver, I can confirm that sometimes my fellow helldivers are not capable of sealing a bug hole with 4 or less grenades, it's usually a lack of liberty within the grenadier
