Every Tuesday at the Atwater market in 1998 I was doing the sausages with the stuffer. You have to whack the meat inside the cylinder to remove pockets of air, and when using natural casing you have to keep it very wet. Once it’s placed, you leave it untied and you start compressing to get the air out a second time. The stuffer will queef-fart a few times, and when it starts growing a tail, you tie the knot and get stuffing.

I taught my niece that Slim Jim was short for Slimothy James. I get tons of them from work because as they go out of date they have to be taken out of stock, but actually throwing away still-edible food hurts my soul, so they come to my house instead of the dumpster. It's pretty cool to see homemade Slim Jims.

Done this before but max your jerky is by far the best on the market. Just can’t stop getting the buffalo chicken jerky. Also thanks for tossing in the meat stick. I’m definitely going to be adding that next time I order. Also the bigger package brings that value up 🎉

In Poland we have a similar Sausages(mostly Pork or chicken but beef also you can find). We call them kabanos. We smoked this and make it dry. Its really good. You should to try, but not the packed just unpacked like from Village store. You know kiełbasa? This is much better

Try the ones from Krakus and Tarczynski, those are the most popular, and make sure you try the aged ones. They're almost like dry aged steak, except slim jim style.
