Hi Him Satija, usually you can get anywhere between $20 to $25 per hour for the barista jobs. If you become an experienced barista, you can get paid higher than that also. :)
But its very difficult to get your first job because almost everywhere atleast 2 years experience is required...and employers dont hire u if u fail to show your skills during practical interview...

You can get training from Salon overseas as well as some students get job right away if you have the skills in haircuts, eyebrows, henna design etc. Hope this helps.

I was able to contact 2 agents that offer the white card and both told me that a student visa is not qualified to apply for / have a white card. Is this true or are there legit agents that do offer? Hi Charmaine, thanks for asking the question. No, there is no guarantee that completing these courses will give you a job. But for example, RSG is a minimum requirement if you want to work in gambling industry.

The short course lasts for 4 weeks, the provider is not registered with commonwealth. Can i still do this short course on top of my studies. The visa is 3 years, and i have spent 1 year and half.
