I STAND CORRECTED...
You CAN buy individual markers on their site!!!! FINALLY... well, now they just jumped up in the ranks.
Arteza, I see you.
ADCArtAttack your still my favorite CZcams artist inspire me to be better
If you liked them at 120 markers for $120, I actually got this set before the holidays for $70. Thanks less than 60 cents per marker. I also got both their skin (36 markers) and grey (36 markers) sets. I found that using the broad tip helps the blending even better. I really like the Arteza markers.
As A Beginner Artist ! I Love Your Video And You Got A New Sub😁
Do you draw on a flat surface or an angled surface like a drafting table?
May i ask what art pencils you are using
Moral of the story everything looks good when you’re good at drawing.

Why do u give link
Yeah, no joke. I know quite a few very, VERY talented guitarists, that have their fav guitars that are weird hybrid parts of different models, and setups etc. Price doesn't necessarily mean quality, not in all senses anyways, especially in a field like 'art'
my friends said buy good things to get better but
I told him u dont need expensive drawing supplies to be good at drawing
Just have fun be yourself
I prefer the left side. The black on the mask and shoulders looks much cooler.
Agreed the black on the left stands out and the red on right looks smoother
Yeah I was a little nervous about using the black with the Arteza, I kinda wish I did... but, I think based on the lighting across the red, it's okay...
i really don't know what is better
Both sides have their own merits. The left has that 90's look and shading of some of the comics. The right was very clean and the blending was ALOT better.
I have 2 questions. First the issue of tearing the paper. If you took the time to let the left dry a little, move to another section then come back with another color later would it of
helped in slowing the rolling-up of the paper? Just a thought.
2. With the blending marking did you get any bleed back into the tip? I've had markers in the past did that and carry colors into a different color palette and had wisps of colors that didn't belong.
@@lt.johnnyrico9474 I was just going to comment that the Left looks like 90's cover art.
He just proved that
If you are a great artist, you can literally use anything to make a good artwork... Cheap or expensive, this guy can still make a superb artwork... Love it
Yup, and yet my shading, with years of art being done, still looks like a 4th grader did it XD
Thanks for the inspirational words though.
Can you draw some fortnite
@@mahahosny8628 what would u even want to be drawn from fortnite
Right 👍
I prefer the blacks on the left and the reds on the right, i dont know if that makes sense
Description unclear, red marker is now stuck in the right nasal cavity, black in the left.
@@Under-Kaoz sorry, i dont know how to say what i want to say in english, feel free to correct me so i can learn
Lol i think the same in the same time I read your comment
Alex Palma he was just joking haha
H.Cruzz10 lol ikr what’s a nasal cavity lmfao
The left side has more of a comic book feel while the right is “ realistic “ in a sense where the colors are more muted
Kind of like a cartoon feel on the right side.
I’m with this
I prefer bagels
The right looks more professional, and definitely has better blending, but honestly my eye enjoys the left more, for some reason. I think it just looks more "hand drawn," and not printed.
Well, Deadpool overall is a gritty and rough character, so the left coloring looks more "suited" for him
The left one has more of a comic vibe
It looks like old comics
The reason also can be the intensity of colors, the contrast.
Ikr
You can definitely tell which markers are more expensive but videos like this display how talent and skill are WAY more important than gear because both sides look great.
$20 ??? Here that Faber Castell 80 pens set costs $4 only 😂 I have it
Really!? If so then I choose the left one in a heart beat then!
No not possible, there are two kinds of Faber-Castell pens, the basic pens and the connector pens.😉
Greetings.
@@Ersfeld_Claude_art yes, in India these connector markers are very cheap i bought them for 5$
@@S2Academy7 Ok, thanks for answer. Greetings from Luxembourg (Europe)👍🍀🍀
Umm it is actually 50 pens pack
For comic style, I would prefer the left, for anything else, I would prefer the right
Agreed!
defo I agree
I honestly like cheaper side more because colours are kind of deeper.
i mean.. me too.. Who in the right mind would spend 120 dollars on markers
2000 Subscribers with 0 Videos People who are good at drawing
@@sunder530 well, I'm good at drawing, I won't.. It's too expensive isn't it
My arteza pens were 20 bucks? 120pack too
For me the left side is full comic cover the right is semi realistic because of the blending
The biggest drawback with most mediums out there is the muted colors for me, i get sick of the muted washed up look. Now i definitely have found use for muted colors but with my watercolors and other paints they become more of a handicap. The tearing of the paper is a let down however i would choose the twenty dollar ones. I would easily trade vast color schemes but dull results for limited color but vibrancy, plus limited colors has always encouraged creativity for me.
I would honestly choose left.I think that it looks more like deadpool .
Also I think the right has WAY too much grey, but that's what I think, what do you think
So true
Honestly I like the right side better
when your a pro you can make anything look good, quite impressive
the left side is like comic, and the right side is more realistic
I find left side more hand drawn and realistic and right side more comic
True
Hmmm
That's what I was thinking

The felt tip are really vibrant and colorful while the everblend blend much better and are much smoother
For a comic style, I would say the left side is best, but for anything else , I would say the right side. They both look AMAZING though. Very well done👍
When you first started coloring the right side, I thought, 'Left side, hands down.' When you finished the right side, I was drawn to the smoothness of the colors. On the other hand, the shadows are deeper and more interesting on the left. Can I like them both or do you insist upon a decision? 🤔
You certainly can
@F u n n y D a n k I think that, if I had to make a decision, I would have to pick the left side. It's just so.... gritty and cool. Okay, cool is inadequate, but I couldn't think of a good enough word--terrible thing for a writer to have to admit.

Crazy shading man! absolutely amazed!
When it comes to looks I choose the left side because of how vibrant the colors are, but when it comes to dimension I choose the right side.
As a person with arthritis it really helps when companies make thick marker barrels.
Your videos are part of my daughter's bedtime routine. She is nine, an aspiring artist, and we watch a video of yours pretty much every night. I am an artist in a different medium, but enjoy you sharing your work and knowledge. Thanks very much. Say hi to Bob from us.

I think a CZcamsr has to state it in the video if it is sponsored (paid for) in any way, or if products reviewed are gifted by the manufacturer.
First video in a Decade!!! What's up Everyone!!
What did you do for the Holidays? If you celebrate that sort of thing...
Why did you have to say that
It's not really a new decade. Its 1-10
I got some fun art things - some brushmarkers and a Cintiq. Long story on that last one... I have a lot more time to practice this year.
Well I went cliff jumping in the Bahamas
I got Winsor and Newton markers for Christmas bc i wanted to colour like u do. I'm not as skilled but they're still very useful pens
I like the high contrast look of the felt markers!
I think I like the shading on the right side, but I like the colors on the left.
ADC- "Oh my god!! There's hair on the paper!!!"

Please do one of Arteza markers vs promarkers
It's kind of sad that in my country don't sell that markers :(
idk why but I feel like it’s kind of hard to find an artist that does a compare video right. So many people do a cartoonish or landscape style that really doesn’t do the markers justice. The shading and your skill really prove that you don’t need to spend a lot to make a professional drawing.
I like the right because it looks smoother and cleaner but the left side has brighter colors so it has that pop that catches my eye.so right side details left side color contrast
$20 are almost the same result
U can make art, no matter what quality are materials.
That's why u are a pro.

This is some of the best colouring Iv ever seen nice job
Awsome video man, you never disappoint :). Will you ever make video tutorials on how to use markers?
I'm an oil painter but there's times when I see those marker sets and I do think I would love them in the studio. Anyhow love the videos 💪
The cheap markers gives way more texture than the expensive markers and to me, that is worth far more than smooth blending because it says a lot about the talent behind the marker. Great job.
I think the differences in the base colors (especially the red base color) made a difference in the outcome. They were different enough that a different effect was achieved. That being said, I think the pricey ones would be worth the money. The smoothness of them gives a very pleasant quality to the work.
Can't go wrong with Faber-Castell markers. Love those!
I was lucky enough to pick up that set of Arteza markers for under half price from their web site. I don't know if they have sales like that often but it would be worth keeping an eye on the Arteza site in case. I prefer the vibrancy of the colours on the left side but the smooth blends on the right side win for me.
the darker parts of the draw looks better with the arteza markers, happy new year to you and your wife, and bob c:
Love the effecton the left... But the depth you create on the right side is crazy good
I just Love watching you and Jazza!!

They have these markers at my local Micheals store individually. Just an FYI
Omg I’m so glad I found you! You’re delightful ☺️
This'll obviously be biased based on the fact we're looking at a cartoon figure drawing, but..:
At a distance, the left hand side looks more expensive than the right hand side. Left side looks crisp, clear, contrasty. Right hand looks greyed out, smudged, too outlined.
Close up, it's inversed. Left hand side looks undetailed, generic - and oddly, now like the more outlined one. Right hand has depth, color width, smoothness.
Both are worth it, just different purposes.
ARTEZA EVERBLEND MARKERS VS. WINSOR & NEWTON PROMARKERS AND BRUSHMARKERS, PLS
Yes
Waited for this video for so long, finally
Wow, it's very difficult to choose one set! They both can create some good styles. Also your a brilliant artist, and can make chalk look amazing! I appreciate the demostration.
Your drawing & shading skills are lovely. I probably won’t be able to bring justice to any pens no matter how expensive 😅
My fav marvel character used to be spiderman but i didnt like what they did to him with all the gadgets and stuff. I like the old version better!
I laughed so hard when you started singing "just call me angel" and deadpool slowly goes by😆
I like the black on the Faber side and like the red on the Arteza side so I would do a piece incorporating both markers, nice job!
i've never seen anyone overlay connector pens on a serious drawing. You still layered them with the confidence of an alcohol based pen and made it look really good, for this i have subscribed. As for the vote, the black sections honestly look better on the left with a professional inking depth, but the reds and highlights look better on the arteza side, which is kind of in the style difference - but then you're working the style around the medium to some degree. so i'm torn, both are sweet. I prefer to use alcohol based markers myself.
$1 per marker: *YIKES*
25 cents per marker: their pretty good
Yeah but if you listen to everything he says you can't buy any of those $1 markers singly. Meaning every time you run out of one marker you have to spend $120 to get the entire said again that immediately throws it out in my book. Plenty of markers that achieved the same type of quality better still around the same price that you can order individual markers from should one run out or say the dog chew on it
Cheapest 100 pack of markers on Amazon, vs The most expensive 100 pack of markers on Amazon.
HarryWally is love to see a set from wish or Ali express
This is a brilliant idea
I would say price and quality Artezas are hard to beat
Amazing works -congratulations...just have my New 120 Arteza Markers......outstanding....
The left side black and right side red looks great!!!
LET'S GOOO! I love this series. Also I feel like you haven't uploaded since last decade 😂
Haha Oh you're a clever one 😉
ADC: “I’m looking forward on starting a new year in 2020
CORONAVIRUS: OH NO YOU’RE NOT!
im too this watch in 2020
The left side definitely looks more appealing visually but that's only because the vibrant colors and hand-drawn look compliment the style.
I really love the blacks and greys of the cheaper markers. They have a more "leather" look because the greys lean into a more blue or purple color tone. Had I colored this myself, I would certainly have used both brands, depending on what I am trying to portray for the texture of the costume. Arteza for cotton-like fabrics, Faber-Castell for smooth metal or leather surfaces and glares.
Deadpool as a character is gritty and rough so left side for me, however maybe like Superman/Cpt America would work great in the righthandstyle.
I love the fact that his t-shirt changes several times XD
I used to do this as part of a series, I miss it Haha flip flopping shirts is fun.
The best video I have ever seen, WELL DONE, ADMIN!
I like the right side I just with it had the same level of darkness compared to the black pen in the 20$ pack. Imagine the right sides face and shoulder being that dark.😶👍
I wish I could draw as amazing as this. Love the fact that he draws a lot of hero’s. Always wanted to draw that good
You can (:
left side as the black looks sick and the red too
Omg you coloured outside of the lines !!!
the left has a much more "comic" feel to it and I prefer the comic feel above all else, so left for me
I prefer the left cheap pens, the colours just seem to pop.
It's the real skill of an artist being able to use what's in front of them and still having amazing results 👍👍
love how the one looks on the right, but I think I will stick with my printer because I am no where near that skilled, great video.
when I saw you blend the colors it looked so realistic you deserve a sub
The best part about the Arteza markers is this... when one dries out, you can replace it with a copic marker and slowly build up your own Copic collection!!!
Hahaha...
But, NO keep copic away from me
@@ADCArtAttack eh, that's just what *I* would do.
@@ADCArtAttack what's the issue with Copic? Price or something more? Genuinely curious
@@TheNintenBits I think he is just more of a fan of Windsor and Newton Pro marker and brush marker set, those were my first set of alcohol based markers, and at its price range I think it is a better value than copics
I've used copics in the past, I can't justify the price.. refilling is pointless as I've probably bought at mat 5 of 1 pro/brush marker and that's across 9 years, in my set I have many colours I've NEVER replaced and most have replaced at max 3 times... which means after 9 years I'm finally at the price of 1 copic for that colour lol...
Also I think copics are too glossy and wet... they also burst and leak TOO frequently, I cant risk it.
Imagine if he didn't press the record button
You will not have a chance to put an old dead copied Comment
He still make good art
the left side just appears more darker...and richer....the wild overlapping really adds unique quality to the work.
I like the black of the felt tip and the red of the alcohol.
Have you contemplated doing a video, such as this where you color in with one style/brand of marker (due to the way it blended) and combining another style/brand and seeing what the finished product would be?
i was listening to a song while watching the video and the beat at 2:33 mixed in perfectly with it can you please tell me what it is
Left looks like a comic and the right looks real
So as you are coloring this in and talking about the look you were getting from the markers not having the chisel tip and bleeding, I was getting a titan muscly vibe from Attack on Titan. I think it would look awesome using that "style" for a titan.
I’ve never seen your videos and you are an amazing drawer this one video taught me some about drawing with markers your so good I bet u could be great with kid markers

Not knowing what 2020 was going to hold and you say I’m going to look forward to it I find that hilarious

I have the Arteza markers and mine don’t look like that idk why
I love watching all of your stuff. Now I'm curious on if people intentionally buy cheaper stuff to add rough texture for their style or even to better their art. How do you feel like exploring everything has made you better in your personal art?
lol @ you covering the hair with the black box omg lmao
The left side has more contrast, and the right side has more Depth... i'll Say the one on the left Catches my eye more Because it looks more cartoon And the colors pop out more. But the Expensive markers are more realistic and the colors are more muted. If you were trying To make a comic You would want to use the cheaper markers. And if you were going to make a more Realistic drawing you would use the more expensive markers. But I will give it to the cheaper markers Because they looks more appealing.
It’s funny how the cheap side look 100 x better than my touch five markers
Great job!
Honestly at first, I thought the apricot colored marker with the ARTEZA EVERBLEND markers didn't really stand out, up until you used the blending marker, and then you added the vibrant red color, which made the drawing all the more wild and amazing. So I would personally think the ARTEZA EVERBLEND markers is the winner for this video. These markers really stood out to me in the ending!!
You should do an episode with sharpies I’m not telling you I’m asking
