- How to Perform Salat al Asr
Salat Al Asr (Afternoon Prayer); is a eight rakat (unit) prayer comprising of four rakat sunnah (optional but recommended) and four rakat fard (obligatory - Imam recited silently) prayer.
Please don’t ever delete these videos, they are God sent to new Muslim like me around the world, I took my Shahada this April, with coronavirus, all the mosques are closed, so I have to teach myself everything online. I am grateful that Allah made it possible for me to still observe My first Ramadan.

Ashamed to admit but as a 38 year old muslim i have never learnt my prayers. This has shown me its not difficult. Inshallah this ramadhan i can pray 5 times a day
Thanks for being honest, I am bit younger but have never truly learned to do it ( though i had many chances), it is my goal too this Ramadan! We are in the same boat :)

@@ihaveadream3321 i prayed five times during ramadan nearly everyday. I did at least 4 rest. With work etc getting up for fajr was hard. Funny though because i would wake up automatically for fajr or on one occasion the birds woke me up
yes my dad has had not ofered namaz scince he was around 40 but now hes 63 and hes started doing all 5 prayers again
I am 12 years old and alhamdulilah a Muslim but I don’t pray a lot 😢 even I didn’t pray for a year I was a fool and I finally learned my mistake from this video may allah guide us the right way

Im Italian from Boston,Massachusetts, US… an being Italian i was raised heavily into Catholicism, but I questioned it at a young age seeing through all the lies and forgeries, and fraudulence of the Bible..
Anyway 12 days ago right before Isha’a i recited Shahadah and reverted to Islam!! The greatest day of my life..

no. the rakats have to be prayed in order. You can sit and pray darood sharif or do tasbeeh if u forget unintentionally....just remember next time inshallah
