Amit bhandari Even after losing reviews If there is any close LBW call They have to check in the ball tracking.

@@amitbhandari2655 I just explained you,I didn't take it seriously.
As a cricket fan, I loved watching this video. Mark Howard did a superb job in showing us how the technical aspect of cricket works and what actually happens behind the scenes. Kudos to them!
Thank you for showing this. Its really cool to watch how this works!
Lot of complications but these guys run it smoothly well done boys
OMG!!!!
It's really amazing broadcasting system.
I really surprise.
Thanks FOX CRICKET to give details information to us.đđ
But this is kafir technology đ
Star sports can learn a lot from fox. All they do is sing praise of Indian team
If they "try" to learn. They can't even get a good twitter account operator so it is big ask for them. They are way behind to eng and aus cricket. Experience is way better when you watch eng and aus cricket broadcast.
It's the same company
Star was subsidiary of 21st century Fox group which now owned by Walt Disney Company. Hence Parent company is same with same tech being used for star as well as fox.
YET THEY HAVE SO MUCH DIFFERENCE IN TERMS OF COMMENTARY AND COVERAGE REAL TIME EXPERIENCE.
Yes
That guy looks like Jonny Bairstow
Lot of respect to the guys doing the DRS system in cricket
Got total knowledge
Thanks bro
Lots of love and hugs to you
Mangalore fans
Ross Taylor knows a few guys in there đ€
đ
Hahahaha so this is the "truck" đ€Ł
because of Ross Taylor is a silent cricketer.
And an individual reason camera didnât focus him.
hahaha
How?
he knows the guy in truck
Absolute GOLD by Paine
No it wasn't
Thank you so much Fox Cricket .
Just loved so much
Now the tim Paine's sledge makes more sense đ

fox cricket is the best cricket broadcasting network i've ever seen.
I had never seen a DRS BTS before. Fox is great!
Star sports need to learn a lot from fox sports australia. The quality of broadcast from Australia is top notch. They even have 4k live broadcast in australia.
Star Sports does have 4k Live Broadcast , just pay for HD kiddo , Just Star sports needs to learn is editing from Fox Sports
@@neelmehta3131 yes. Absolutely agree with you.
@@neelmehta3131 pay for HD and watch in 4K?

He nicely dodged the critical question. Best data does not mean best prediction. Model that predict ball trajectory seems to have unacceptably high degree of error.
Well, very good sessions these fox cricket crew take...
Love the way they showcase the cricket... By far best commentators..
These little shows make cricket more interesting... #goodwork..
Hope #star learns something from them... đđđ
The more we appreciate the efforts the lesser it is, the knowledge, the hardwork is immense right there.
But ye to kafir technology hai đđ
The algorithm and mathematics involved is awesome. đđđđđđđ
Wow that's really amazing đđ
Thank you soo much for showing thisâșïžâșïžâșïž

Great work by cricket Australia appreciated good infođ
Thatâs so much work! I will shut up about delays in bringing up ball tracking.
Thanks Fox cricket for this đ€
Their set up is very close to the road, I thought they set behind the glasses and watch the game live not on tv đș
I also thought the same .
Thanks for great information đ
Show this to Tim Paine đđ
Very much informative video.
Proud of you Guys.
Oooooo, so third umpire talks with these persons when something is reviewed
Muhammed Hasnain mmm yes âpersonsâ

Subarna Chatterjee yeah but you sayâ person/s mate whatâs the use of âpeopleâ if there is such word of âpersonsâ

Love test cricket,, Love Fox Cricket
The telecast and broadcast by Packers during the early stages of benson & Hedges 20-25years back was top notch ,these days only DRS is new technology having good frames which works faster
highly technical.......... like it
All this technology still didn't make the right decision against Mitch Santner
Ryan Lawrence benefit of doubt in goes in favour of the bestman and It was not out on fields so that's the reason santner servive.
Ahmad Raza mate we get that! What we donât get is why it wasnât conclusive in the first place. It clearly hit part of the glove!!!
It wasn't conclusive because you couldn't say clearly that it was hitting glove or did it just hit the elbow guard it looked it hit but umpire wasn't 100%sure and hence the decision
You should know by now that DRS is.based on game situations. They dont want games to be finishimg on day 3.
Ikr didn't get the Colin de grandhomme one right and now santer !! Umpires suck
Very informative
'We are not doing the predicting, the system's doing the predicting, and that's based off the data we collect...and we are confident that the data we collect is spot on' says the guy on being questioned the accuracy of predicting the trajectory. He missed an important step though - the algorithm that determines the trajectory based off of the data. What factors does the algorithm take into account? How does it decide which factors to weigh in more and which to ignore depending on the situation e.g. one of the factors that defines the trajectory is the condition of the ball, a new ball bounces more than an old one; also a new ball on the same pitch on the same spot from the bowler at the same speed may bounce differently depending on whether it's the first over on the pitch or the 91st (pitch deteriorates as the game progresses). How relevant is the new ball data for a 45 over old ball. There are a thousand permutation and combinations that can be run through all these factors. It's all about the algorithm.
good job đđ»đđ»
Amazing đ€©
omg is yt knows what I'm thinking
bc literally few hours ago I thought about it and now I got recommend this đČ
Great very informative
Awesome Dear
Should learn this
Splendid đđđ
Now that is cool
Love From Bangladesh â€
Genius stuff
Its really amazing
Amazing
They should put a screen behind the stumps which marks where the ball hit and then compare it to where the DRS predicted it to hit. That way the accuracy can be put to check.
They've done that before, they have checked the accuracy, and it's really close.
Very cool
can you show how to calibrate the system at every match ? or does it not require calibration ?
†amazing
I love this
âHalf a small amountâ

I reckon umpires need to watch this too this might help them in decision

How you can calculate the impact force when ball it's the ground, it can't be same every time.

mathematical modelling and Ball 3D tracking calculation need significant improvements with the combination use of CFD simulation, mathematical function analysis and other tools.
Any Evertz equipment?
Awesome mathematics involved.

I want to meet that programmers team who made this software
Yeah man
you cannot meet them via youtube comment
I m thinking same... That's why Elon Musk says , engineering is closest thing to magic đ
Great work đ but still we've not achieved complete accuracy in drs đ
So we can actually hack whole match decisions

A lot of heat comes from this room most of it form gaz

Yeah
the worth watching point was when he said,we choose 1 point based on situation out of 2 when ball has impression...... tricky
How on field umpire can judge such decisions when it takes so many cameras, calculations, data and technology to have a correct decision.
All LbW's decisions should have to be given by third umpire instead of field umpire
R u talking about the unemployment of umpires
Agree
it will be a time waste as cricket is such a long game
I love Melbourne, specially MCG
He did well to Dodge the "Human Decision" Notion

Plot twist : MS Dhoni programmed their software. đ
not funny
I totally believe on these system...may not be 100% accurate...but that is the only reliable source we can have to get the outcome.
How do they decide which way the ball turns and how much does it bounce? Especially with spinners in contention. Is it done manually?
Depending on trajectory
It is a human decision to predict where is the impact. That can be a game changer.
Aussies, always upping there game :)
