Who we are?
We are a group of 4 friends who live in San Francisco, the United States of America. We worked together in a company. Currently, we just decided to quite a job and start our job as our hobby and dream job as builders. We love building. We got the same mindset. Recently, we just move to live in Oklahoma, the southern on the USA. I got a plot of land here, so we come and start making videos about how to build, how to survive, and mostly about the primitive lifeskills in the jungle.

They were never in any real danger. Those are meliponines, also commonly reffered to as stingless bees. They have a distinct disability - they have no stingers, and cannot sting, which is why they huddle up around the hive. It is their way of defending it.

Anytime I take honey from a wild hive, I leave 2/3 for the bees... ; don't kill the goose that laid the golden egg...

Wow.. My parents would tell me about this when they were back in Cambodia (which is where these guys are from) and she said it is a delicious treat. The paste you see them putting on it is a pounded salt and green thai chili paste to give it a sweet salty and spicy effect.
Does the smoke make the bees docile or leave the nest?
@@johnlaslett5339 it's pretty much to mask or cover up t smell of the pheromone released whenever a threat is near the hive bees tend to release it is the signal to everybody to come and attack and defend from a threat The Hive and Queen also once they sting you they release the same pheromone the smoke itself causes them to scatter making them think it's a forest fire

Honey efficacy stated in Quran:

ثُمَّ كُلي مِن كُلِّ الثَّمَراتِ فَاسلُكي سُبُلَ رَبِّكِ ذُلُلًا ۚ يَخرُجُ مِن بُطونِها شَرابٌ مُختَلِفٌ أَلوانُهُ فيهِ شِفاءٌ لِلنّاسِ ۗ إِنَّ في ذٰلِكَ لَآيَةً لِقَومٍ يَتَفَكَّرونَ
Then eat of all manner of fruit, and follow the ways of your Lord easy to go upon.' *Then comes there forth out of their bellies a drink of diverse hues wherein is healing for human.* Surely in that is a sign for a people who reflect. (Quran, Sura An Nahl, chapter 16 verse 69).
Those are many version of quran translation, but understanding arabic language is the best way to understand the true meaning of the verses.

Do they eat the bee larvae too? In most of these videos I have seen they only take the capped honey and leave the brood. Some even leave some honey for the bees to rebuild. So they can come back in 5 or 6 months and harvest again.

@@basilancebu7051 I am pretty sure they will be alright. Bees, especially in such warm climate I assume are very adaptable, unless there is not enough of food like nectar then those bees might suffer but how come there is no flowers in such a jungle, so... :)
They are gonna have to rebuild the hive anyway you harvest it. The only thing u gain is that u know where the next hive will bee. Harvesting and leaving a little box for them makes no difference except u are now ENSLAVING the bees. What’s better huh?

They are not skilled but ignorant . They are also NOT Bushmen as the title claims. No aboriginal who is native to his land and nature would disrespect it like they have done. True Bushmen in Africa would never take everything. They would take some honey only , not all , and especially not the brood , out of respect and also so as to return next year again. Such actions as shown above lead to the death of the whole swarm by starvation during the off season when there are no flowers that offer nectar. These delinquents have lost their respect for nature. The True Bushmen would never hunt a productive female animal either , more likely a non productive older female or male. Neither would they make their shelters from living trees but dead branches. They lived well and in balance with the greatest respect for Gods creation for thousands of years until everyone else came along and destroyed everything.
