- So, time for something a bit different!
Today I'm out in Flight Simulator - this is an IFR flight from Edinburgh airport in Scotland to Liverpool in Northern England. It's a fairly short flight, and I guide you through my procedures for flying using the Autopilot and the ILS approach into Liverpool
I'm definitely not claiming to be an expert, and I daresay there are mistakes in there, but it works!

I started play FSX a few weeks ago and been trying to do this very thing. Great tutorial. Thanks for sharing
Awesome video
I’m new to fsx and I have found tho helpful and informative
Giving this a go. Works brilliantly.
Great, just what ive been looking for, hopefully I will be able to use this as a template to fly from A to B anywhere, thanks & I will be looking at your other flight vids, I do hope they are expained as easily as this one
Stayed up all night trying to get this right . I love this tutorial
Wow
yes

I love your video, such a nice explanation, I have no idea why there are some dislikes on this video
Thanks for the video 😊👍
thank you mate it helped me very much!
Excellent video
Thank you very helpful
Brilliant video very very helpful thank you! Quick question, how do you know when you're established on the localizer?
Thanks, Rlly helped
No worries, glad you found it useful :)
I'm new to this, great video. How did you determine the speeds/flaps at each altitude threshold? Is this general info, or does it depend on plane type. Available inside the sim somewhere?
Cool video, thanks! Next time turn autopilot on much later, you turned it on already 20 seconds after takeoff. That's not realistic.
in case of a possible failure you should turn on the autobrake to rto position before take-off also again you didn't turn on the autobrakes(1-2-3-MAX pos) before you touchdown, but yeah it was okay and thank you.
good
when i try to set my altitude or speed , the digits clime by 1000 ,2000, 3000 or 10 ,20, 30 respectively . Is there any settings to change this.
excellent but why auto take off? wheres the fun in that! but good video overall!!
hello everyone hope you all doing well I have a question how to stop the plane after landing at the airport
16:16 I'm so scared when you drive so high😲😲
I know this is a super late comment but how did you get this mods?
I want to actually start from the gate
When i follow your instructions doing the same route, then there is no problem, but when im doing this for myself going anywhere else, i fux it up... There must be something im doing wrong when im trying to be vectored in and using the ILS 🤔
Hmm, are you using the right ILS radio frequencies for the runway you're landing on? Every runway has a different frequency, so if they aren't quite right that could be the issue? When does it tend to go wrong?
@@photogamer9487 i belive i have the right ILS frequancy, what happens is that, when i press app hold, the altitude hold button turnes off(?) so i have to turn it on again, but then the plane wount decent... It seems like i cannot intersept the glide slope
@@TheSkippiness the altitude hold button turns off because the approach hold button is bringing the plane down slowly so there’s no need for alt hold. Keep it off and you will be lined up with the glide slope
@@johnthompson5741nope, that happens when you are way too high for intercepting the gs, you can only intercept from below….
How did you had 73 with British Livery?
how do you free look around like that? i can only look around using keybinds
Either via the hat switch/knob of your joystick in combination with +/- on keyboard or using head tracking hardware.
Nice a PlayStation 1 Game now available on PC! 🤣🤣
