Thanks Shaun. Been a while since I made a vid. It’s a great job I have seeing customers faces when they pick up their parts. Cheers Craig

Hey there. How do you keep the freshly blasted parts from flash rusting?

Dry everything promptly when I’m done. Usually don’t have an issue with most steel parts. Cast stuff is a different story. That will flash rust within seconds. Cast iron cyliders etc are generally painted so I dry blast those. They’ll stay clean for quite some time.

What media are you using in both dry and wet blasting

I just buy bagged product from a local tool shop. It’s a red garnett in the dry blaster and a very fine glass bead in the wet blaster. I haven’t delved into the size or grade of the product as both perform extremely well. Cheers Craig
