I remember many years ago a large number of traveler were staying the night in a budget roadside hotel. They were very problematic broke into a shop storage and stole the items they were also very rowdy into the early hours. Threatened other guests. It was a real problem for me as I was the only member of staff in the hotel and they were not listening to me and one even tried to attack me until a female member of the group stopped him. I called the emergency number for the police, and four officers arrived. I said to the police that I wanted them out [the travers] to which the police sergeant replied "there are more them them than there are of us! and refused to make them leave! I remember that to this day! I had no support from the police or my employer

Let me help you out. Just a few UK proactive policing measures, you can search for further details. Just because you might not be aware of them, doesn't mean they don't exist.
BCU Violence Suppression Units. Violent Crime Task Force. Scorpian Units (have had a huge impact on moped-related thefts and associated robberies). Operation Trident (so successful its remit had to be expanded to give it enough crimes to cover in order to warrant its continued existence). These are just a few measures by The Met in London. They also run proactive measures against pickpockets and in tourist hotspots, as well as other operations not listed here. I really don't know where you get your information, The Daily Mail perhaps?
We need these people to be registered in Interpol so other police agencies can quickly find out about their wrongdoings.

The clash of cultures are not really a surprise to most citizens in U.K. Most native inhabitants recognise that diversity and multiculturalism is simply throwing together people with very different cultural values and customs which do not necessarily fit in with the histories, values and norms of the host country, hence inevitable clashes. Multiculturalism can work if those cultures blend and have similarities in values and sometimes religion. However, some cultures and some religious practices are incompatible with the host country that often leads to conflict with the natives and immigrants.
I'm second generation, my grandparents arrived in the UK in the 70s. They worked in the hospitality sector and were recruited by the British consulate in the Philippines due to staff shortages in that sector at the time. They intergrated, they took part in British traditions, they even had their own cafe that use to serve a lot of builders.
If immigrants integrate and embrace the culture and values of their host country, while also remembering their own traditions and culture, there isn't a problem. All that means is that they are able to be productive members of society and contribute to the British economy.
I have great admiration for the bravery and integrity of these officers; both sides of the channel. Well done.

Take a page from the city state of Singapore on how to integrate religion and people. Find out how they deal with the triads in the 50s and 60s. Their methods may seem draconian in the past but they are the best for the present problems in Europiean countries now. If you don't act tough with these people you will have these social problems constantly. Some people don't deserve to be dealt with in democratic fashion.

I could be wrong, but wasn’t this setup in response to the failings around the Brixton and poll tax riots because they realised they needed dedicated riot capable troops to call upon rather than just issuing riot gear out to the standard cops?
