In this clip, Bubba Sparxxx spoke about battling his addiction during the height of his fame after “Ms. New Booty” came out, and he explained that while it should’ve been a great time, he was miserable. When asked how much he was spending a day on his addiction, Bubba explained that it started out at $50 to $100, and rose from there. After the success of his single, Bubba revealed that he went to rehab for the first time, and he explained that he was clean for a year once he got out. While speaking about his rock bottom, Bubba said he felt a sense of impending doom, which made him seek help.

I remember I was taking up to 10 Roxie 30s a day. That addiction is the worst I can relate to Bubba you can destroy your life, loved ones, especially family relationships shit is sad. But there’s always a way out 💪 I am 1 year and 2 months clean now from opiates.

It takes a mature & solid individual to accept responsibility for their own mistakes. Taking accountability isn't something that's very common these days. Right or wrong, a real man stands tall & accepts his fate, no matter what the situation may call for. That's part of what makes him a man.
Sadly, these days we live amongst a bunch of 🤡 pretending to be something they're not. They don't even accept who they truly are, let alone any accountability for a real life mistake. 🙄😒🤦♂️🤣🤣

I believe that cause in 2018 I was taking 13 perc tens daily and sippin atleast a duce a day of lean wit it coming off that many percs is hard as f I’m glad I get a prescription of suboxone now
The subs and methadone is a trap though. You got people in them clinics that have been there 20 years. I took me two years to realize that. There was no treatment. I took myself down 5mgs every other week from 130 and got the fuck outta there. Even weaning myself off, the withdrawal was like torture without sleep.
You believe he was taking 300-450mg of oxy a day because you yourself were taking 130mg of oxy a day ?
8mg of Suboxone equals 120mg of oxycodone, hope ya atleast tapered down the sub dose to where it makes sense because the Suboxone is alot harder to get off of.
@@chancegregg I hear you man. I got tired of the cycle the oxys had me in so 28 months ago I got on subs. I was familiar with the equivalency chart so when I told the doctor that I was taking 270-300mg of oxy a day and he told me 20mg of Suboxone would best suit me I knew it was a trap from the get go. I let him write the script for that much knowing in the back of my head he was just saving me time and money little did he know because I had no intention of taking that much. Took 12mg for three days, went down to 8mg for two weeks, then down to 6, to 4, to 2. Jumped off at around 0.75mg a day and it was still hell honestly, nearly three months clean but still not normal. The opiates rewire the brain completely. But we both know that. Cheers
I know what some think but suboxen saved my life. I know some won't agree but like some diabetic takes meds to live some addicts take suboxen to live.

Already left my story of painkiller addiction under another part of this interview.... I talked about how I I have had many completely necessary surgeries and started out legitimately needing the painkillers.
Just wanted to get the message out there again... it is definitely not easy get away from painkiller addiction... so try to be understanding of why a person can just not immediately. Stop.
Remember everyone's addiction may not be exactly the same.
It's okay to tell someone that you don't want them in your life until they are better... although some may not like that... that maybe one of the most helpful things you could ever do.
Also... even if you're in a situation where you would like someone to get help badly... it's obviously okay to give your opinion.. however... if you start trying to basically force them to go to rehab or stop taking medications... in many cases it will piss the person off even more and they are less likely to get the help they need and you want them to have.
Back when I was using for example... literally the more people that approached me and tried to make me give it up... I would actually want to use more... it's that don't freaking tell me what to do attitude.
Someone who is using needs to get help when they are ready... Not when the rest of the world is. When an addict is being pressured about rehab... Even if they agree to go... it's not going to help them. They have to want help on their own.
The interviewer should be a rehab counselor
Yeah man, going from 10/15 tabs to 10-15 Roxy 30s … that’s a HUGE Difference… when the blues were popular I only got up to a few a day.. I could do wayy more but if it was just me - not that many, but I was paying over double what he was , not in the beginning but by the time EVERYONE was on them they got up to 4050$/pop 😔

I snorted 8-10 30mg Oxycodones a day. When I stopped it was a horrible experience a d never wanna repeat it again. I feel Bubbas issues. I had the pain management scrip for them. Before I got hooked I was part of the Pill Mill train in Miami. Shit is crazy. And opiates are the Devil

it's crazy how fast your body will build up a tolerance. you can catch a 10x 30mg/day oxycodone habit real fast if you have them available.
You take a perc for 3 days str8 and the body begins to develop a tolerance
@@williamsantana370 i was like bubba. i always had ibs or some kind of fucked up stomach issue my whole life, so when i first started getting wds i didn't know that's what was happening, i thought i was just having one of my normal bubble gut episodes. (i had flipped a car going about 100mph on the highway, and was lucky or unlucky to be alive depending on how you want to look at it, but i fucked my neck, back, and shoulder up bad, and never got it fixed because i didnt have insurance. here i am coming up on almost 20 years later and still never got it fixed dealing with sciatica, arthritis, losing feeling in my extremities sometimes, circulation getting cut off, and all kinds of pain, but a year or two after it happened i did end up going to a doctor for the pain and was way overprescribed oxycodone. can't even remember the last time i got a good night's sleep. i'm constantly exhausted, grumpy, and i'm always real short with people and i don't even mean to be, i'm just in serious pain, and i get 0 rest. chronic pain is a serious issue, but because of all the people who aren't really suffering from injuries abusing the medicine, and bad governments, doctors and pharmaceutical companies capitalizing on the multi-billion dollar a year market, people like me who really can't get out of bed in the morning we're in so much pain, then we need to get up and go work hard physical labor jobs with broken bodies all day, that really need pain meds and have no intentions of abusing them, will always be treated like junkies thanks to the fuckin retards who'll rob their own mothers and sell their kids into slavery so they can shoot a bag of dope in the fucked up abscess at the surface of their collapsed veins) once i started learning more about the effects of opiates i started realizing that i was actually having wds. when i was younger i could deal with them and still go about my day normally like it was nothing. my body used to recover fast when i was younger, from anything. whether it was injuries, sickness, withdrawals... whatever. i was in pretty good shape and recovery came easy. nowadays if i were to go on a binge the wds would debilitate me i'd have to lay in bed for weeks and there's no way i could do it. i'd have to have some benzos and other comfort meds. even to go out drinking for one night i'll be fucked up for a week. getting old sucks.

The Suboxone helps when you really want to quit! I started last year taking Suboxone but I wasn't really ready I was just trying something. But when I had enough and was really rdy to quit I took the Suboxone and it really helped me

It’s very possible. I was taking 4 at a time and then an hour later popping 2 more to boost back up. Another couple hours go by boom taking 3 and then 1. It’s a strange cycle but I’ve easily taken 15 in a day before. It ain’t NOTHING you want ANY part of.

I'm a doctor I took perks look for every major surgery to calm my nervous system, now I just take them nightly for good rest. I definitely recommend them to everybody with insomnia
