- So me and Ben headed to Bike Park Wales for a day's downhill riding with Tom who won a free day's riding there thanks to Muc-Off. This video show why MTB Bike Parks like this one are the best for everyone of all abilities. I'm a professional slopestyle rider, Ben has never ridden a downhill bike park, and Tom and Elliot have mixed experience - and yet we are able to all ride together and have an awesome day. Ben surprised everyone though, black runs on my Hawk Hill enduro bike!! Enjoy this POV riding video of some of our favourite jump and flow trails there.

Tell you what, you riding behind Ben and coaching him through the ride is the best way to learn DH riding. When I went to my very first proper gravity bike park (Snow Summit 7000ft elevation) my nephew was behind me doing exactly what you did for Ben. It helped me immensely. Beginners like me, have no concept of how steep DH bike parks are. I thought the “easy trail” (Turtle Run) would be like Driving Miss Daisy, a romp through the park, it wasn’t. It was hard, I was scared and when we got back to the lift I was exhausted. I did the run 3 more times by myself and had so much fun. Thanks for another really fun video! Cheers👊

Proves how transferable bike handling skills are, I didn’t often ride a bike as a child so starting mountain biking at 21 even after a couple of years I’m no where near the level that Ben was on his first ride

Im super lucky since I grew up on Juniper Ridge in Kamloops which has the Kamloops Bike Ranch. If your ever in the interior of BC you have to hit up these local trails and there are plenty more. Kamloops is said to be the birth of freeride mountain biking and would love to see you come rip up the double black jump trail called fistfull of dollars and the massive 3 set at the bottom!
