- Come along our tour of the Buriganga River on the southern edges of Dhaka, Bangladesh. This river is a lifeline of Dhaka, as it connects the capital city with a network of rivers that can take you all over Bangladesh. In fact, I'd absolutely love to take one of these boats on a 20+ hour ride to a different part of Bangladesh one day!

I love the food and travelling around the Country and seeing some amazing Countryside and beaches. I especially love exploring Old Dhaka and getting lost every time, but that is part of the fun.

If you can, next time please visit Sylhet, Chittagong, Bandarbans and Rajshahi. They are so calm, clean and absolute natural beauty of Bangladesh. One place you must go is Coxs Bazar or Saint Martin, the southest part of Bangladesh. Bandarban is jungle and hills, Sylhet is lakes, rivers, swamp forests, Sundarban is the largest mangrove forest of the world , Coxsbazar has the longest uninterrupted sea beach of the world ... Visit these places and you will find the calm and peace of nature. Please come. Thank you. !

Sorry to hear you have experienced some bitter incidents with the rickshaw puller and the boatman... I really wish any of the friendly younger people were around to help you guys that time. I am sure you are well capable of taking care of yourselves, being such an experienced teaveller, but it would restore some honour on BD part.
