Hi, appreciate the video.
About the insurance, do you have to initially buy the gadgets/travel tickets/car rental with the curve metal to be covered or once you acquire the card you’re automatically covered by insurance including past transactions?
Thanks!
am on waiting list hope get one soon this card is awesome cant wait
Curve customer service is ridiculous. They take weeks to respond to queries.
I just got the Metal Rose Gold 💪💪💪
What about the £50 charge for a replacement metal card
I joined the wait list for Curve USA. I would never pay £/$14.99 a month for some metal card, regardless of its features, but may go for a free version.
I agree it’s pricey but it actually saves me money because it has cellphone insurance and gives me access to travel lounges when I fly. Other than those features yeah it’s not worth it.
Well if you get its worth back then it is good. Look at the Chase cards or amex ones with high fees
Nice vid ! 😀
Thank you!
Im currently in Mexico, does it support Mexico Banks?
hi, i wanted to know if i buy a metal card and after downgrade my monthly plan and go back to the free card, i can always use the metal card to pay but without its features or will it be deactivated?
Yes you can use the metal card it won’t be deactivated. I am using the free plan noe
You will have to pay for a minimum term on the metal card to cover the cost of it however
Does this card can used be anywhere?
So is my bank debit card in middle east will be accepted to be added to curve App or the service is exclusive for some countries only
This card can be used abroad in almost any country and as far as I’m aware it works with any credit or debit card. There’s some issues with American Express but I’d check the website for further details. You could always try the free version first as there’s no payment details required.
Hey dude whassup! BTW I'm waiting for top ten......
It’s up dude!
Hi Matt if I cancel curve metal after 12 months and downgrade to blue will the metal card still work
Thanks
Yes
Thank you Matt for the vdeo.
I have just apply for a Blue Curve card.
Just wondering whether you can help me with these questions...
1) If I am going to use my Physical HSBC Bank debit card and withdraw £300 from a foreign ATM.
Will I be charge? Because it is over my Blue Curve ATM limited?
2) If I am going to buy a car in the UK (£/€6000) using the Physical Curve card. Will there be any charge?
3) If I am going to buy a card in the UK (£/€6000) using contactless via my watch. Will there be any charge?
4) 1) If I am going to buy a card in the UK (£/€6000) using my Physical HSBC bank debit card. Will there be any charge?
1) In order to claim curves free withdrawal abroad it needs to be using the physical curve card not your HSBC card
2) The New curve daily limited us £7500 so yes you could buy a car with it
3) You have the same spending rules on your apple watch using the curve card as the physical card itself
I highly recommend double checking with curve as I don't work for them
Do you still use curve today? Thanks! Great video
Yes currently still using curve
@MattRobb awesome. Same here but just the 4.99 model but got it for 2.99
Can I upgrade to get a metal card then downgrade and still keep using the metal card?
You have to pay for the premium for a minimum of 6months otherwise they charge you £50 when you cancel
I did not see an American option to order three cars by phone.
Do you know when is 500€ limit for transactions in different currency reseted? It's 1 per month but when? 1. Day in month or from card issue, or from 1. Payment? It's not visible in the app and I need to know, so I don't have to pay 2% fee. Thank u!!!
there app does not show in Play store in USA
As of now it is only available for the EU. However, Curve has plans to enter the USA market soon as well.
Oh I see that why my ain't working yet cuz am in usa
If you sign up for the Metal one for a month and then cancel it, do you just loose the features and keep the metal card until it expires? 🤔
Think you have to sign up for minimum term of 6 months. So if you cancel after one month you still have to pay those 5 months.
@@WolfieJon Yeah I read the TOS now, thank you for responding though! It's pretty stupid how they don't state such fact on the front page of the subscription but rather burry it from the consumer...
I have recently started using Curve but to me it seems pointless
You have limits (UK £100 per transaction but a total of £300 contactless or 5 concurrent transactions) once you hit this amount / 5 transactions you have to use chip and pin, I know this is to protect you from loss and theft etc but what's the point of it if you get declined on your smart / swatch pay watch etc? So you end up having to carry a physical card, you have the ability to freeze your virtual card in the app if lost or stolen, it just doesn't make sense to me.
You don’t need to carry the physical card you can add it to your apple or google pay wallet and use it the same as your other cards without limit but you gain the cashback benefits and the curve features
@@MattRobb I cant use Swatch pay on my watch until I actually insert the physical card in a machine and enter the pin due to the recently introduced strong customer authentication (SCA) standard that has been introduced, apple pay and google pay not affected but Swatch pay is just a physical NFC chip with no means of authentication
Can the card be swiped?
Yea it sure can be
