Honestly just for more job opportunities and for experience trying something new. I want some personal growth as well as to travel, since Covid I haven’t really gone anywhere and I’ve just sat in a room doing CZcams for a while now. I’m still doing CZcams but it will likely be more about my lifestyle and tech rather than just reviews. I already have a few creators in Toronto that want to collab 👀

I’m going to do a follow up video with my experience after longer use because it’s hard to criticise and judge upfront I haven’t had them long only 1 month. I would say hooked up to your computer it’s possible to code but you’ll have to increase the font size beacuse the glasses make text on a normal screen look smallish (it’s readable but not comfortably readable). It’s great for documents tho but yeah hands down the best experience is watching content or playing games.

@maxonary it works for as long as you have battery on your device so if you use the XREAL hub you can use them permanently all day

@@MattRobb Nice! One last question: When I tilt my head or move away from my desk, will the virtual monitors still stay in place?

@maxonary You can tilt your head in any direction and even turn around and the screen will still be behind you but when you walk away it won’t physical stay in place like the Apple Vision Pro that’s more of a VR experience tbh

I’m pretty sure it won’t work because the PlayStation portal doesn’t have video output for the USB C port last time I checked

Yeah true but the whole purpose in my eyes is to be small and portable so adding extra battery would maybe ruin that aspect

@@MattRobb I think a lot of people would take a larger device to have the longer battery life but again I can see how a lot of people would be fine with this device as is as well. Either way solid review, I didn't even know N100 laptops were out there.

Yeah that’s true speakers suck they don’t have much base and they are very tinny

@@MattRobb it’s also on wired and wireless. Google seems to have ignored audio quality. LG, Sony, Asus all by pass Android’s native down sampling through hardware (you can use the app USB audio player pro). iOS outputs truebit audio so you get better output from iPhones wired. Android 14 was supposed to have followed Apple’s approach but there seem to be issues with some phones. Even on wireless the pixel (and Samsung ultra) are disappointing. Codecs are about 10% of the audio quality, the rest down to the recording, hardware, ear tip fit, and the listener! Google and Samsung seem to have skimped on decent hardware for audio. I was using my Status Between ANC wireless (triple drivers and only SBC and AAC, no ldac, aptx adaptive… and they still sound better than most wireless ear buds supporting “better” codecs. Using those with the pixel and ultra was disappointing compared to with the LG v60 and iPhone 15.

It's chunkier than other magsafe wallets but feels like you could use this as a dedicated wallet and the find my tracking features make it great if you're worried about losing it
