    Lovely workshop Dave, I used to build and maintain grand prix race bike back in the late 70s/early 80s and would have loved a workshop that well equipped. Thanks for sharing.

    The chaotic energy in this one was superb.
    That's a small and beautiful machinist shop. A friend of mine who teaches at a technical school said something similar about the milling machines. You'd rather wait and buy a former instructional machine rather than one coming from an industrial background. Understandably so. I already have him sworn up about a couple of precision calipers and a few more things when the time comes. Also, I think my Old Man would have fancied one of Dave's phase converters. A neat and well thought set up.
    Has Dave finished the fuel tank already?

    And I thought you were 'just' a regular genius, Dave ... By the way, what is your patch affiliation?
    Your upload, Andy and Dave, took me back to my Marine Engineering apprenticeship days (1967-1970: Stephens and Sons Shipbuilders, of Linthouse, Glasgow, where Billy Connelly was working and who I met a few years later when he was one half of the Humblebums with Gerry Rafferty); then I went to the BP Refinery at Grangemouth). Thanks for the Memory Lane sojourn.
    All the best to you and yours. Stay free. Rab 🍻 😎 🌠

    Nice video. machines, lathe and drills, had at college back in the day. Had to learn, had the display on as well, some even program, work it's self. Inverter, homemade - clever. Sisters husband (was ) had little workshop in the garage. 2000's onwards. inverter was bought, white plastic thing on the wall. 2002 or so. affordable then or only way he could get the lath, drill, whatever it was going, Me not very technical at this stuff. electronics I done as jobs on and off for a long time. nice clean video until mention the long chopper at 25:17!.

    • @ALWResearchTeam
      @ALWResearchTeam  Před 2 lety +1

      Dave does build a long chopper! I commission inverters at work, they’re great until they go faulty. I would like a workshop like that too. Thank you so much for watching and commenting :)

      @@ALWResearchTeam I got on in my loft, roof, inverter, not a chopper. Does the solar panels DC, hundreds of volts to 240 AC mains. Dad built big shed in 1982. workshop. Still going, storage and tools, not things like that in video but just where to but things and some bench and my desk, things where made in the day when did all that. Even got the tumble drier out there and my bedroom cube clock radio that was long ben replaced many times. that 1987 and still goes, red 7 segment display thing with radio. going 34 years on and first thing bought with newspaper round money.
