- If Carlsberg did workshops, this would
-PROBABLY be up there with the best
-PROBABLY be the most efficient, well thought out and best equipped
-PROBABLY be as clean as some houses
-PROBABLY be the place where Paul obsesses about the most
This weeks video is a little longer than usual, but it's hard to stop Paul talking when it comes to his workshop. The first workshop we had was built by his late father Eddie back in the early 70's and it was nearly 50 years later before he got the opportunity to build this new one. So let's just say he knew exactly what he wanted and where he wanted it!
We have had so many compliments and comments about the workshop since our CZcams channel started so todays video is dedicated completely to it....we hope it answers all your questions!

All the reasons Paul gave had me smiling the whole way through. While there is big cost to establish a setup like that, there is huge savings in terms of time and waste to benefit from. The simple things of having 3 jugs for oil instead of 1 or having the right bolt easy to put your hands on ensures drivers are more likely carry out the small repairs before they become big ones. Great video.
Cheers Killian 👌
Easily the best organised workshop I’ve seen. Can only imagine what a please it would be to be working in it. Credit to ye lads. Keep up the fantastic work.
Fair play to ye all, that is one super workshop, all laid out with military precision 👍. A lot of people could learn from that workshop about neatness, tidyness, efficency, and safety. Well done 👍
The finest workshop i have ever seen for its so well laid out and every tool has its own storage space. Definitely has to be the best in ireland if not europe.❤❤
Cracking, good long vid.. that be my dream workshop 🤩👌.
Thanks for sharing 🤙🤙👍👍
Brillant setup lads best iv ever seen . 👍. Looking foward to seeing more of the new tractor
What a great setup. Obviously a lot of thought went into it. I know what I’ll be dreaming of tonight!
Just one word describes that setup, FANTASTIC.
👌🏻That is some workshop lads.👌🏻 It’s a credit to you all! It’s the envy of a lot of mechanics and welders throughout the country! I’m liking the roofed mobile trolley with the generator on it. Something that’s now on my to do list now!

Excellent video, the workshop is a credit to you all, a very pleasant environment to spend your working day in.
I would like to see ye sit down and chat about the history of the business, how it started off and grew to where ye are at today. Keep on keeping on.
Good idea Pat will have a think about how we can do that regards Paul
Some set up lads, Tidy out and professional. It's a credit to ye and looks to be a lovely place to work in.
Absolute credit to you all👍
Your waste oil system is awesome. Thank you for your content.
Just a suggestion for a video lads as it’s a bit quieter and machinery getting put away for the winter, would love to see a full tour of all the machinery and equipment on the farm.

Yes it’s there in the centre of tool wall with all tractors having first aid kits along with 2 people trained up in first aid regards Paul
Great video the setup is great .🚜🇮🇪🔨
Full credit to you, what a tidy, efficent ,safe workshop..It costs way more to be disorganised and dirty..iTs a pleasure to work in a place like that...as the saying goes,,,cluttered house, cluttered mind.

Great job lads
Brilliant setup lads
Would ye ever do a full farm tour and a machinery tour, looks like a serious set up. Great video by the way.
I agree
Awesome workshop tour👍only thing you fellas don’t have is dust n cob webs like us here in Australia LOL our workshop has cabinets for each tractor, combine n equipment. Inside cabinet has usual filters, manual book, detail tool size chart eg drain plug 19mm n service parts. One of cabinet has PPE/safety equipment n chemical spill kit. We also have service box fill with what we need for daily service like grease cartilages, grease pumps, grease fittings, cleaning products, paper towel, basic tools n PPE.
You remind me Gay Byrne on the toy show going round the benches and getting the kids to explain how their toys work. Roll it there Colette.👏
Love workshop Wednesday 👍🏻👍🏻
Best Agri workshop I ever seen any jobs going
Send in the cv sure we’re always looking 👍
Great show lads, looking forward to the sea shanty tic toc 🤪
Pretty well set up place, I work as a mobile diesel fitter & welder in country Australia. I don't have a proper service truck, I have a crew cab ute with a tonneau cover.
If there's one thing I've learnt its how important it is to have the right set-up - As soon as you start putting tools on top of each other or putting bulky things in front of doors or sliding drawers you're absolutely killing your efficiency and you're going to cause yourself a lot of frustration.
You may as well not have a tool if you can't find it when you need it.
jeez paul sounds like a hard man to impress, god love the lad who thought the handbrake was off on a Monday morning
Great video lads, your just missing one thing, a small pointy nose visegrips that I got last week, I’ll bring it back I promise 👍👍
That is unreal, fabulous 😍. The only thing I didn't see, but I'm sure they are there was First Aid stations?. A credit to you all.
First aid station is in the middle of the main shadow board in the work shop. First thing you see when you walk in the door and look straight ahead
@@kaylemrussell2927 very good, I guessed that it was there alright. Fair play to you all.
Hello from Canada
Great set up. If you ever wish to go further down the computerised route, there are various CMMS (computerised maintenance management systems) available which are much more tailored and powerful than excel, for maintenance and spares management, reorder etc.
Cheers Rodger , will look into it 👍
Tidy 👍👍👍
well fiited out..any idea what make that cabinet is at 3.47.cheers
Nice set up going on there. Do you have first aid kits & eye bath stations & Fire extinguishers, lastly you never showed the main item the Kettle / Brew station.
First aid in middle of tool wall, 2 on-site people trained with first aid with designated area, every tractor has first aid kit with fire extinguishers also, and in workshop there are between roller doors and they are serviced annually with master fire services and I’m the fire officer on site hope this explains regards Paul
What was used to draw the white lines on the shadow boards ?
I think the title of this video is correct
Super workshop. How did ye get the oil drums in place ?
We have a small electric forklift and you put the forks close together and lift in and out the barrel very simple done and safe 👍
Some job.
Without doubt a beautifully organised workshop, great learning watching it.
Glad to hear 👍
Id say Farmer Phil gave youse a hand to set up that shed.
I know you've alarms and cameras but the oil store not having any doors would be a worry to me.
Do you heat the workshop? If so, how?
Lovely set up lads.
We have a 3 phase electric fan heater when required just plug in and it’s very clean ,kerosene can be a little smokey and messy, we may still put roller doors in open workshop but we have a high level of security on the farm
great video ! Do you make all your storage pallets or do you buy them?
We get a lot of deliveries of products with pallets so we use them and the pallet surrounds we got from GRIMME as they had surplus ones 👍
Andy hourigan at farming, fixing and fabricating has a decent workshop too but I think yours is better!! 👍👌👏🙂 wow!!🤑 you got a cheetah??
Great work 👍
Would you do a tour on your tractors
OUTSTANDING : o ..... Still, what type / kind of generator (s) R U utilizing ??? What brand, company of generator is used ???
Very nice setup, with one major fail in my opinion. Unless your farms don't get dusty having those oil jugs sitting on the drip tray with wide open tops is unacceptable, especially in an open air shop. You're asking to pour contaminants directly into the equipment. They deserve to be stored in cabinets with well fitted doors, anything to keep dirt and debris out of the fresh oil.
To be honest we don’t get wind and dust with the position of the workshop but we have got our colour coded oil jugs which we had ordered now and they have screw tops to stop any contamination of the oils 👍
Take “probably” out of the title . I think it IS the best one in the world . Unbelievable setup and great thought given to making things as easy and accessible for the workers . That Says a lot 👍🏻 Keep up the great vids 👌🏻
V tidy set up, do you have a designated first aid/area,maybe organise a short first aid course if time allowed .
First aid kit is in centre of tool wall with every tractor having one also, there is 2 trained up people in first aid on site with designated area regards Paul
Looks like a normal big workshop
No need for cameras when Bruce and Blake are around
John Griffin, Great job lads. Cole the Corn Star isn't in it with you.
No not probably it is the best workshop for agricultural use. Do you just manage your own tractors and machinery or do you sell your services to other farms? If it was me I would definitely do the latter and also add in classic machinery, tractors and commercial vehicles. After all you have the building and equipment. How do you train your staff?
Great workshop, I have only one complaint: Paul's red trousers. It looks like he stole Santa's drawers a little early for Christmas.
Come on Patrick you have to get into the festive spirit 🤣regards Paul
PROBABLY THE BEST WORKSHOP IN THE WORLD, But Where was the tea and biscuits ? 😋
Say hello to Mick Shannon.
Will do Nick we had a chat about you the other day mick says hello glad to see your watching the channel regards Paul
Class workshop
Machinery tour???
First Aid Kits and Fire Extinguishers??
First aid kit is in the centre of tool wall fire extinguishers in between roller doors also 2 visible in open workshop on video beside waste oil tank, all tractors equipped with fire extinguishers and fist aid kits with a yearly service contract with master fire extinguishers all over the farm,, we also have 2 people trained up in first aid and I’m the fire officer on site regards Paul
lock in larssons farm and milenium farm
I asked the question before when are you going to have an open day??
We were thinking of it for nest year but looks unlikely now due to covid situation regards Paul
Feck. Me iv done this for the last 30 years
in order to increase efficiency you could add barcode's/QR codes of the items to for example the bold rack, so when it's almost empty you scan the code and you order it directly.
Good idea we just have a white board at present with parts that are needed daily this is then photographed and sent to office every day to order regards Paul
I'm glad that you take a pride in your workshop but to be brutally honest your general specification is quite low grade. I have designed many heavy vehicle workshops over the last 40+ years for several major national transport companies and there are many upgrades that would be required just to bring yours up to scratch.
One point that I need to make is that the access stairs up to the mezzanine is too steep and should not be left as bare timber. The treads should be non-slip especially as the there will likely be wet slippery conditions being brought into the shed.
IMO no heavy vehicle workshop should be designed without a minimum of 10% rooflights to allow daylight in and these rooflights should be aligned between the bays to give maximum useful daylight in the working area.
I have never specified roller shutter doors on workshop bays as they are not insulated and in high winds clatter and bang such that the workshop space is almost unusable.
THE BEST WORKSHOP IN THE WORLD ROFL 🤣🤣🤣
Where is ur first aid and eye wash station
First aid kits in middle of shadow boards plus 2 people fully trained first aiders on site this is explained in following video lathan
Are you hiring?
Batteries dont leach into concrete past like the 1970s...that shit just doesnt exist anymore
It’s not that it’s the fact that it can increase self discharge regards Paul
NO LIGHT OVER BENCHES ??????? SPANNER IN PLASTIC ONE SIDE OTHER SIDE PINNED ????? MAYBE OK FOR YOU !!!!
Nice no doubt but nothing special really.
Ok so let's see your workshop.....
This shop is a freaking joke. Better have comfortable boots. You're gonna do a lot of walking and wasting of time here
Mr Jealous
11:30 Next to the Air tool a ALDI Screwdriver Set nice job,
I have one of them Screwdriver Set and there not Bad. 🪛😄
Fantastic setup and very clean most important in a workshop and all the air lines and electric points in the work shop didn’t see any first aid or eye wash and fire extinguisher 🧯 but maybe I missed them
