      One of the great Phils wins of all time. One of the most clutch hits I can remember. The radio call is amazing

    Great work on this, bud. My biggest regret was leaving the game early when Travis lee hit the walk off in 01. Never left a game early ever again

    2007, late august against the Mets. Phils looking to complete the four game sweep. Wild back and forth game. Phils stage a come back in the ninth against Wagner. Chase knocks in the winning run for the 11-10 walk off W. Unbelievable game, extremely memorable.

    A walk-off inside-the-park home run? That's the ultimate way to score

      AND its the first walk off in the 21st century for the Phils? Perfection.

    Awesome video! Though you missed the Chase Utley walk off single against Billy Wagner and the Mets to cap off a 4 game sweep in late August 2007. I only remember because I was there and it was magical.

      John Skudris One of the Great ones too. Werth stealing second and third. Chase driving in Iguchi for the win.

      Kmart Gaming I remember the day fondly. Went with my mom and because of traffic we didn’t get in until the fifth inning with it 8-5 Phillies. We thought we missed all the good parts. But boy were we happy to be wrong. What a team.

    8:00 I was at this game. Chase hit two homers on his first 2 ABs off Matt Belisle. Even more insane was the fact that both homers were on 3-0 fastballs and the same dude caught both home run balls. Shit was insane. I was sitting in RF upper deck. Thunder storms came in, and the game went into extras. Jimmy knocks em home to end it in the pouring rain. That was the most exciting game I’ve ever seen.

      One of the many reasons he took the MVP that year...... so many moments and games like that.

    I can remember a few great walkoffs that were missed, but one of the great ones that wasn't missed, was in September 2001 (9/23/01), when the Phillies were in a pennant race going after knocking off the Braves, Johnny Estrada hit a walk off HR in the 10th on fan appreciation day after Travis Lee hit a game tying HR with 2 out in the 9th.

  • @larrycopeland2413
    @larrycopeland2413 Před 4 lety +4

    Great stuff - and to think, the only postseason walk-off HR in Phillies history is still George Vukovich's back in 1981 (game 4 vs. the Expos).

    Any chance you could track down the footage of Placido Polanco’s walk-off home run against the Brewers on. August 28, 2004? It was my first baseball game and Polanco signed my baseball at BP before hand and proceeded to hit the walk-off. I’ve never been able to find any highlights from the game though.
