2007, late august against the Mets. Phils looking to complete the four game sweep. Wild back and forth game. Phils stage a come back in the ninth against Wagner. Chase knocks in the winning run for the 11-10 walk off W. Unbelievable game, extremely memorable.
Awesome video! Though you missed the Chase Utley walk off single against Billy Wagner and the Mets to cap off a 4 game sweep in late August 2007. I only remember because I was there and it was magical.
Kmart Gaming I remember the day fondly. Went with my mom and because of traffic we didn’t get in until the fifth inning with it 8-5 Phillies. We thought we missed all the good parts. But boy were we happy to be wrong. What a team.
8:00 I was at this game. Chase hit two homers on his first 2 ABs off Matt Belisle. Even more insane was the fact that both homers were on 3-0 fastballs and the same dude caught both home run balls. Shit was insane. I was sitting in RF upper deck. Thunder storms came in, and the game went into extras. Jimmy knocks em home to end it in the pouring rain. That was the most exciting game I’ve ever seen.
I can remember a few great walkoffs that were missed, but one of the great ones that wasn't missed, was in September 2001 (9/23/01), when the Phillies were in a pennant race going after knocking off the Braves, Johnny Estrada hit a walk off HR in the 10th on fan appreciation day after Travis Lee hit a game tying HR with 2 out in the 9th.
A little disappointed I didn't see my the 07 walk-off against the Mets when Howard hit an opposite field homer. Was my very first Phillies game I was 6!
My favorite quote is not WFC but rather the closing message to the Dodgers. Anyone know who said this and why it was said? Bonus point if anyone knows it! 16:40
Any chance you could track down the footage of Placido Polanco’s walk-off home run against the Brewers on. August 28, 2004? It was my first baseball game and Polanco signed my baseball at BP before hand and proceeded to hit the walk-off. I’ve never been able to find any highlights from the game though.
I miss Harry so much. Go Phils!
Same here. I miss Utley at 2b too. Great hitter. I even miss Wheels. Lol
Ugh that environment during the nlcs walk off in 09 gives me chills , I really hope we get to see that again soon
One of the great Phils wins of all time. One of the most clutch hits I can remember. The radio call is amazing
Were fucking back
yessir
Nothing better than hearing Harry call Bobby Abreu.
Great work on this, bud. My biggest regret was leaving the game early when Travis lee hit the walk off in 01. Never left a game early ever again

A walk-off inside-the-park home run? That's the ultimate way to score
AND its the first walk off in the 21st century for the Phils? Perfection.

John Skudris One of the Great ones too. Werth stealing second and third. Chase driving in Iguchi for the win.

I was about to comment this because I was at the same game lol

One of the many reasons he took the MVP that year...... so many moments and games like that.
It looked like they were literally fighting each other at the end of the Byrd homer...like actually pissed at one another
time?

Either I'm an old man or I just miss Harry the K.
Where's Ryan Howard's walk-off HR against the Mets in 2007?
Great stuff - and to think, the only postseason walk-off HR in Phillies history is still George Vukovich's back in 1981 (game 4 vs. the Expos).
Still true I think. Closest is JT's 2022 go ahead HR in G1 WS and J Roll gapper against Broxton in 09.....
@@NeumsFor9 Also close was Bryce's Bedlam at the Bank HR vs. San Diego last year that won the pennant.
Damn Paul quantril was still pitching in 05
❤️⚾ Phillies ⚾❤️
Forgot Bobby Abreu’s walkoff homerun in 2006 on the dodgers in April
Yo Amo a Mis Phillies....⚾️🔔⚾️🔔⚾️🔔⚾️🔔
5:46 it's actually shoking to see no shift on Howard
Definitely left a couple walks offs off the list. Pretty sure Howard had a walk off HR against the Mets in 07 that wasn't on here.
Pure fucking gold
GO PHILLIES
Sorry we have a good announcers now, no one no one ever replace harry Kalas

You forgot Pedro Féliz walkoff base hit that scored Geoff Jenkins
Playoff era walkoffs begin at 7:04
Great video, only one I can think of that you missed was the Ricky Ledee walkoff from 02 or 03
I think there was one by Johnny Estrada against the Braves around that time, too.

sadly the actual clip is extinct but there is this version on the yearbook: czcams.com/video/CPzZ1QhrSdY/video.htmlh3m50s
Nothing if not Inconsistent what about the walkoff single by chase Utley of billy Wagner in 2007
Never forget Todd Pratt walk off I moved out of Mayfair that day. I would take Tank today over Andrew Knapp.
That World Series call by buck is a disgrace, so lifeless…sounded like he had money on the Rays
Missed 07 Mets
The Phillies should reach out to you and open they vaults to you.maybe collaborate with you.
man I fuckin wish
Yea especially during the off-season great to keep fan interest and gain new fans...
