    Hi, can you guide me if we can use varnish after using 2 step medium. My glass bottle with acrylic color got flaky and milky after I filled the cracks with metallic pigment on 2 step crackle medium, after putting varnish on it. Do varnish don't go with crackle

  • @coyoteheartdestinythesylph5902

    So. Apply a acrylic paint. Allow Dry. Paint with crackle one step or whatever crackle. Dry...Paint Over with desired color. ... does that sum it. 🤔 😊😊😊😊

    Good Video Bela On How To Use One Step Crackle Medium. I have been using Little Birdies Crackle Medium As Well And It Has Never Failed Me. Just An Observation I found out that single pass of brush strokes give better results than double or triple passes and the cracks are better, I lower the viscosity of the paint by diluting it so that I can paint in a single pass. What are your thoughts ? Have you tried it yourself ?

    • @BelaShahColors-N-Creations
      @BelaShahColors-N-Creations  Před 4 lety

      I love this medium I hv always got results no matter how I use them... Only thing I keep in mind is the thick or thin layer will give me big or small cracks .... I think what u r doing is cool !!!

    • @BelaShahColors-N-Creations
      @BelaShahColors-N-Creations  Před 3 lety

      Yeah crackle mediums are little tricky... So u can dilute the paint... Here the area was very small... So I don't hv to do it ...

    What are your thoughts on wood stains? With crackle? I.e would it work as a black wood stain as base and or vice versa - silver underneath then crackle then black wood stain?

    • @BelaShahColors-N-Creations
      @BelaShahColors-N-Creations  Před 2 lety

      If u use wood stains then i think its better to use transparent crackle so the wood stain effect is seen

    I have a question... I am wanting to get a Black cracked look on some laminate bathroom cabinet doors, I want to line cracks to be light green (not white)... so what is the best way to do this...Use Light green orginal paint (chalk paint if I can find it).. then use the glue.. then paint black on top.. is that right ?.
