In India , a educated politician is a myth😂
😅
This is why y’all still stuck in the 1800s
@@Sam_FIFA lmao what makes you say that bruh, assuming you're from the us, I'd say women not being able to get abortions is more 1800s shit
@@ProGamerMove77 so not able to murder lives is 1800s shit?

How is she being rude?

Because we all know politicians don't have our interests at heart. They just give false promises to earn you vote. She's extremely intelligent because if she can get in she's in for life $$$
Stupid major, terrible editing, didn't Even get their college current GPA, useless info. Take your pick of points.
Ohhh okay my bad
Poli Sci here….. we run your governments. In the US, that could be at the federal, state or local level. It’s amazing how little Americans know about their government.
Black rock and other conglomerates run the US . Politics are nothing but a fugazi .
Also a Political Science student:
If you're choosing your major, go choose economics instead. It's very easy to get an understanding of politics, understanding economics is far more important and difficult.
@@mckendrick7672 Thank you 😊 I completed my ungrad degree in 1998. I’ve worked in government operations for 25 years. Mostly in DC but last few years in the Midwest. Poli Sci was most beneficial to me. Understanding the legal context for government authority is critical. Additionally, I enjoyed earning my MPA and CPM. Public service is a very honorable field even if it’s rarely appreciated. Best to you!

We know they are all Corrupt Liars that Covet Money and Power over everything.
Many poli sci majors are pre-law
What does this mean? I am from Switzerland and here we can just study law directly,3 years bachelor 2 years master...
@waveril5167 in the us you get a bachelors degree, take an exam and then you go to law school for 3-5 years. If you want to be a lawyer here, then in theory your bachelors degree can be in anything. As long as you pass the lsat.(idk whats on the test im a music major)
Ah crazy, thats different than here in switzerland :), Thanks! Greetings from Bern. @@SWilla00946

Her name is WHAT...
Iniisip ko mag polsci ...kaso takot ako ma fail pero trinatry ko talaga lakasan ang loob ko
If you are really into it. Go for it. If you have failed attempts. So what? It happens. But if you will not try, you will forever be wondering or you will not know.
The real question here is... why are you afraid to fail?
if you really want something to happen then do it
Being a politician is completely the wrong objective to have. Politics is meant for people of more advanced age who have more wisdom to offer. The role of a politician are for erudites who do NOT want to be involved in politics but feel compelled to after once experiencing and being a productive citizen through the private market.
That's.... that's not true at all. Political science is a vital field because there's more to the government than just your elected officials, but even if that were the only people who were needed, you'd want people with qualifications. If I'm hiring an electrician, I'd hire the guy that went to school for it, knows the system top to bottom and can help me navigate it, not some dude who decided to pick up a how-to guide and now thinks he can wire a house.
Lol yea, because old people like Joe Biden are what we need Lmao 😂
@homiej8163 biden is an extreme but with age does come wisdom had biden been 10 years younger I think he'd actually be a really solid president. As it stands from an analysis perspective his presidency hasn't been all too bad, he's shored up trust in western political regimes, shown that NATO won't back down to obvious russian aggression, committed to de-escalation with China and has passed the largest infrastructure bill in recent American history. Whether or not he's the one driving it all leaders know you're only as effective as the people you surround yourself with and if you don't want to credit biden you have to at least credit his administration.
We actually need young people to lead. Old people will not be as bright and will try to use “back in my day” more often when deciding what to do. The economy and the world had both changed. A younger person will feel the effects of the current situation but an older person who’s already comfortable with their estate and assets will not understand the majority of people and their struggles. Wisdom doesn’t come just because someone is old. That’s a lie an old person told.
Older generations are valuable and bring wisdom to their duties as public servants but to say that no one else belongs in that role is absurd. A good government represents their people equally and that means all ages , races , genders and backgrounds. Otherwise we have people in power who have lost touch with their country and have no vision for the future because they will be gone before then.
Political scientists measure, understand, theorize and categorize concepts relating to sociology, anthropology, and many other things. Political science is great because we measure things in a way to see effectiveness, like with govt policy, or public opinion using tools like SPSS. It’s fun because you can see how people see the world in a very different way than yourself. I was gonna study ideology and write a paper on Christian nationalism, which is currently a growing political movement that I fundamentally disagree with but I wanted to because it was so radically different from my views I thought it would be fun 🤷🏻♂️. However, if you’re not doing law, or getting your PhD in it, there’s not really a reason to do it. I have it as a minor now and I’m a business student 😂😂😂
The last thing American politics need are more lawyers.
Oh I disagree. The last thing American politics needs are more people who have no idea what the limits of their power are. I.e., those who have no knowledge of the law.
You're absolutely incorrect, The world could use more lawyers and less power hungry politicians who just want the position to climb the ladder making unlawful moves and getting away with it.
Nah… don’t work as a board member. I was able to work under my state senator for two summers.
Also, why ask Colombia University students their GPA? It’s an Ivy League, of course it’s good.

@@caidenniemi9445it’s not useless- please have a little bit of knowledge on the stuff you say before you say it.
@@zKavv youre right its not useless, its worse than useless. Pre law majors actually have a significant decrease in acceptance rates compared to almost any other major
the study of law before pursuing a graduate degree in law (typically useful for being a lawyer of any sort, but can be also very helpful in a future in politics).
Aspiring to be a politician is a major red flag
Your existence is a red flag. Judging ppl based on theor major is not cool

@@MovieMonster01 Yes.
Never trust anyone who wants to a politician.
Yes! An educated woman trying to be a politician who (probably) isn’t bigoted or a total arse.
why is it that so very few of us are able to speak without saying the word like every other second i believe education is far inferior at this time
Many people are nervous or insecure and do not want to make a fool of themselves so commonly use words like I think or like to not be too assertive.
Better than being uneducated and gets offended by the word "like"
Its a generational dialect difference yall have been making fun of since the 90s, calm down sir
When our mouth moves faster than our brain we use filler words such as “like” and “uh” to indicate to the listener we aren’t done talking. Other languages such as Dutch have it too.

Where are the science in politics? I'm confused why it's called political science?
Science means more than chemistry, biology and physics. It means the search for facts, and truths in any matter
@@maxwellqueen6050 so that is the opposite of politics.
They're defining science to mean "a body of knowledge", which is a different definition to the typical "scientific method definition" we're all probs used to.
Hence why you have stuff like computer science, which also isn't a "science" if we're using the latter definition.
