Gritty and sleazy despite the 80s sounding synths employed by Maestro Schfrin on this score. In particular, it works when one pictures a battered Harry bathed in silhouette with the moonlight gleaming off the barrel of that .44 Magnum AutoMag on the San Paolo (Santa Cruz) pier/amusement park. So much for Mick The Rapist & Crew. ;)
@@glitteringman50 Yes indeed, and there is something Hitchcockian about her as Jennifer Spencer, in the way her past trauma drives her relentless revenge. A major role in a major film that is more topical than ever, with the savagery of society, and the laxity of a certain leftist justice more concerned with the fate of offenders than that of victims..
And then one day Just This side of forever You might Hold Me So I never fly away Oh I need you But if you asked me to leave And I should Cling to your Sleeve Then Just wave me goodbye And away I want fly To Circle high above you When I Leave You
Final song, "This side of forever", performed by the talented Roberta Flack, is really moving and great !
LOVE the up and down tempo, Try listening to it stoned.
My favourite Clint Eastwood film. 10/10
Did it make your day?
@@leethomas2155 Yes, punk!

My favorite Inspector Harry, the only one directed by Clint Eastwood himself. Well performed by the late Sondra Locke, R.I.P.
Last movie they ever made together too, capping off a 7 year string of movies starting with Clint's best, Josey Wales.
Concur--She was perfect as the vengeful "Jennifer Spencer." She's also spectacular as "Gus Malley" in THE GAUNTLET.
