As a Bronco fan, I'm heartbroken to see Von wearing something besides orange and blue. As a Von Miller fan, I'm glad he got traded to a contender.
I also want to add that no one should wear 58 for the Broncos again.

Yeah..no kidding. This is a overdue move for Denver, firstly. Von at one time, was incredible. He could take over games. But injuries and especially age took over him.
The team needs fresh coaching and younger players. This step is a positive step. Thanks to Von for good memories but in order for the Broncos to move ahead toward winning years they need to clean house. It's a start. Secondly...well...a LB has a limited shelf life and I don't see Von having some...2nd explosion to his career. But...I wish him good luck.
Their coaching staff will be gone after this season and now the LB's picked up the last few days make sense.
I love aggressive teams like this. Makes things interesting. The top of the NFC is STACKED. Cardinals, rams, packers, bucs, cowboys. Those 5 teams are ready to go win the SB this year.

As a Rams fan my jaw dropped. You'd think this wouldn't surprise me after Snead's trades over the last few years, but damn! Super Bowl or not, I love the the Rams front office. Continually upgrading the team through trades makes me so excited, and as a fan that is all I can ask for. The Rams are all in, and as a fan I am too.

@@stgravatt Even that hardly ever seems to work out. Let's face it - teams will put up with almost anything if the player is still producing. Miller hardly plays these days - he's always injured.
The part you are missing is they traded away two draft picks for only 9 games of Von Miller (if he stays healthy). Even with him, there are 3 other really good teams in the NFC, so they have traded away 2 picks and may not even win a playoff game. Given the recent history, I doubt he will play all 9 games anyway.

Crazy that when LA traded for Vin initially it was said “he wasn’t worth it” forgetting that playing with Aaron Donald collecting double and triple teams would make life easier. Snead an Co (scouting dept.) Are just damn good at what they do imo. If they didn't find gems in day 2 an after this whole formula wouldn't work at all. Kupp, Akers, Rapp, Fuller, Henderson etc all taken after day 1.

Many teams have copied to get younger coach of the same like Matt Lafleur, Kyle Shanahan, Brandon Staley, and watch them shine. Next year I can bet many teams will be trading their picks away. And the Rams can train their young players with these great players and sell them for picks. Smart.
