It's 1987 for D.C.'s Silver Banshee. The Kingpin (1967) predates Tobias Whale (1977). Dr. Doom, 1962. Lord Havok, 2009. I get the DC and MCU comparisons, but the baseline character template for the MCU is the mainstream Marvel Universe;MCU characters are alternate versions of the 616 characters. The MCU offers different versions of characters already created. DC , many times, like Image and Wildstorm, follows Marvel's template.

Two Gun Kid was inspired by the b movies of the 40s and 50s.
Jonah Hex was comics answer to Clint Eastwoods Man with no name and the spaghetti westerns of the era.

I have to disagree on a bunch of these. For example Ghost Rider and Atomic Skull might have a very slight simularity with the skull face but they are completely different in every other way. Most of the copy cat characters will have same powers and almost same backstories along with similiar looks. Still fun list though. I wonder who would win if each match up was a fight??? lol

Uh..I think there's a little logo mix up on atom smasher and Giantman.
I think the best way to solve the conflict between the industries of the (DC E.U.) industry, and the M.C.U. industry maybe it would better if someone might make AMALGAM cartoon shows.
I theorize with AMALGAM cartoon shows it could have the combination characters, and introduce new types of fusion characters in the cartoon shows.
I know that in the (AMALGAM Comics) stories it has characters that are the fusion of DC characters, and MARVEL characters that all exist in completely different separate realms.
And I hope other people like me want to see (AMALGAM Comics) stories come to life in cartoon shows.
I also think this way there will be no more creators ripping off other creators of their characters, and hopefully both ComicBooks industries could work together without conflict.
Plus to add maybe just maybe they all could imagine new types of AMALGAM stories, and add them into AMALGAM entertainment.
