I love how Raiden’s design gives off very villain vibes, mostly black armor, cloth over one eye, steel jaw, and the red eye, I’ve always associated design choices like these as very villain-like. Yet Raiden is the hero.
Meanwhile the tall, determined and suit wearing senator who wants too give people true freedom is the villain. I guess Raiden and Armstrong do believe the same thing by the end though..

That exact part played when he was doing that last throws ( when hes under 40 % ) and cutting off the obstacles WITHOUT nanopaste left and 25% hp left, which transitions into the final part, is just pure badassness. The best of all, it took me so much focus that I entered the zone and made no mistakes for 1 minutes. Been so long since i last had a moment like that.

I’ve listened to this song for weeks now it’s unique energy that it gives off is amazing not only do I feel motivated but I genuinely feel happier after I’ve listened to this song it really brightens my day.
It still worked in the second half of 2020, but life is too dystopian now for it to still work. Still, it is good to know that this exists, and to be reminded of the Senator being right all along.
It’s an amazing song, it keeps up the tension and it has a really heroic vibe. And then the lyrics kick it up a notch and are really beautiful. And, where most of the vocal tracks for the game are showing us the nature of the bosses, this one could easily be a duet. With Raiden and Armstrong both at the zenith of their arc (tho Armstrong has been at that point the entire time) they’re both fighting to make the world a better place in their own way but they can never be on the same side. It’s not even about good or evil anymore, it’s about who has the power to change the world and who has to let go. Kinda reminds me of Cannonball from MEGAMAN Zero 3, it’s an incredible theme that can’t just be any final battle, it’s special and personal to the characters involved

i played this when i fought the evil wizard in castle crashers, the vocals part kicked in as soon as i started on the 2nd-5th phase (the parts where you actually fight him) and it was perfect
