No, this is basketball, my European friends. LeBron is very athletic, but also a skilled passer. Bird played a lot like Jokic, but never set foot in Europe.
It's a game that has fundamentals and also artistry. There may be some stylistic differences from the differing cultures, but in the end, at the highest levels, it's the same game.
Each players way of expressing his or her particular artistic aspect usually flows from that players unique gifts and skill set.
Kobe and MJ, and Vince Carter were really good leapers so they expressed a lot of dunking artistry.
