He is the most underrated Test player not only in India but in the World right now. Every team would love to have Player like Pujara in their test side. Who can bat all day and score a 100 after playing 300 balls.
Pujara can play ODI also. He can be an anchor at one end, go at SR of 70-80 and take pressure off the other batsman who can accelerate. I don't think he's a bad option.

And also pujara got great backing from our pacers so that's why his runs didn't go in vain in 2018 series.And under the captaincy of virat, pacers like shami and ishant have improved hugely and found new life bcz of backing of the captain.
