    Son - what is the difference between Sachin and Virat ?
    Dad - Kohli is a famous cricketer of India
    And Sachin made cricket famous in India .
    I personally started watching cricket only because of this man ,
    May be all his record will break
    But the carisma and aura of this man remain untouched.

Reg this innings: It was a selfish innings on a dead pitch against a weak depleted attack ( no McGrath, Lee coming back after surgery, unfit Gillespie) which ate valuable time and didn't give our bowlers enough time to bowl aussies out and the result was that they escaped with a draw. The need was a quick 100, and instead this guy who all his career has hammered meaningless hundreds to boost his average ( check Bangladesh 2012, for that so called 100th 100 of 148 balls) paying little attention to teams needs. • @sohagdas8351
      @sohagdas8351 Před 4 lety +2

      If T20 players don't play shots how will the team score runs. T20 isn't about defending. And yea if u talk about tests Steve Smith did it in against NZ. He was getting caught on the pull in the first test. Then he didn't play it.

    • @sohagdas8351
      @sohagdas8351 Před 4 lety +1

      @ptshrm That tactic can be only applied by NZ because they have Wagner. No other bowler has that amount of stamina. Jofra Archer bowled 7-8 overs of bouncers and is injured even today. Also the tactic isn't smart. They got their bowlers so tired that the other batsmen just had an easy outing. And hence NZ lost 3-0.

    • @sohagdas8351
      @sohagdas8351 Před 4 lety +1

      @ptshrm Right that's what the speed gun shows. But I saw Steve was really uncomfortable with Wagner's bouncers while it was not so when Archer was bowling except those 2 hits. Wagner due to his slow pace generates uneven bounce and maybe that's what did him.

    Sachin had the ability to change his stance, his approach, his shot selection etc according to conditions. Swing, seam, bounce or spin, the man adjusted beautifully to whatever was thrown at him. Even when injuries struck and he couldn't bat like he used to in his prime, he relied a bit more on some of his unorthodox shots like the paddle sweep and the upper cut, resulting in brisk scoring like before but in a different manner. His adaptability was the reason behind his longevity. This innings in particular stands out as the best example of it cuz the mental strength to curb your natural instincts is beyond the capabilities of mere mortals. A pure masterclass.
