Come to Minnesota and watch hockey. Kids, high school, college, pro. We got it all. Minnesota is the state of hockey. My cousin coaches the University of Minnesota Duluth. The have only won 3 NCAA titles in the last 11 years. Most of any college. The state high school tourney for boys averages 15 to 20 thousand per game. There is no great team now in the NHL. No dynasties like decades ago.
Anyone can get hot and win. Borbo was a hack in Columbus. Nice to see him win a game or two. Just like Korpisalo was a hack then played great for the Kings. Brodeur, Roy, Dryden, Sawchuk, just some of the greats I have watched win cups. Borbo….WHO’s HE? It was great with only 6 teams in the NHL. Even the worst team had hall of fame players. Just think of the quality of hockey there would be if there were only 16/teams. Every team would be loaded with talent….but greed wins out through expansion. Still had snow In my yard by Lake Superior 10 days ago..but the outdoor rinks have melted…ahhhh 3 months of summer before it snows again….

I'm seeing the same as well. Florida is better coached and they look like they want it more. Probably goes to 5 games. Leafs will get a split in Miami but lose at home in game 5. Short of Tim Horton's ghost showing up for a pre game speech, a miraculous comeback is very unlikely. Too bad, cuz this is the 30th anniversary of the last time the Stanley Cup was won in Canada. I suspect that tiny cochroach Bettman is behind it, but he's clever, so he's very adept at covering his heinous deeds. Wish he would retire.

This game was symbolic of both of these teams seasons. Toronto started strong and knew they could cruise to the playoffs without improvements. Florida on the other hand were in a hole and only came out of it because of their growth. Go Panthers

Игра супер Пантеры отыгрались с 0-2 и пошло поехало. При том игра была шикарная я смотрел почти всю игру. Запароли начало игры очень много удолились 2-3 удоления подряд. Это катастрофа,но оклемались пришли в себя.Силовые действия у кошек просто шикарные, скорстя, борьба на каждом участке льда. Кравища тоже была Махура уже отбивает шайбу лицом. Все готовы играть до конца. Боб творил просто в воротах. Эта игра достойна финала. Флорида прошлого сезона и нынешнего это разные команды. Хотя игра в регулярке была паршивая в целом. Надеюсь пройдут в сед раунд
да, оба матча с такими показателями по силовой борьбе, что остается только восхищаться здоровьем игроков. Вот потому победители регулярки очень даже могут провалиться в плей-офф, потому что здесь, помимо мастерства и сыгранности, нужна самоотверженность и борьба..

Turnovers and missed opportunities. Leafs need to manage the puck better and most importantly they need to score on some of their chances. Bob was amazing tonight. To me that was the main difference. Florida got spectacular goaltending and the Leafs didn't.

Matthews and Tavares need to live up to their contracts. The depth needs to show up and the team needs to play better. Stop pinning failures on dumb throw away excuses and raise your expectations. The leafs scored 2 goals and didn't deserve to win. Bob played well, taking nothing away from him, but the blue team had their chances and blew it.
God Boston is the team i loathe and also wish my team was, but their fanbase is solid AF. Blames the team, says they need to be better, no throw away excuses. Hold the team to championship level expectations and stop finding scapegoats.
The play at 5 mins is the definition of dumb hockey. Instead of trying to get the puck out of their own zone they try to make 2 extra passes and it cost them a goal.

The Leafs problems are the same problems they have had since they drafted Matthews. They are too fancy and rely too much on skill. They should be angry. They should have a fight back in them. Look at that fight between Stamkos and Matthews. Stamkos jumped Matthews and Matthews put up no fight. Matthews is 2 inches taller and like 20 pounds heavier than Stamkos... No fight back... Nothing... I want some blood drawn... Matthews doesn't have it. He should have tried to gouge Stamkos's eyes out for jumping him, regardless of his reputation... He didn't. It looked like he did not even know how to fight... Or take a punch... Or throw a punch. Matthews should be angry. Draisaitl and MacKinnon have that anger you need in the playoffs.

For an outside perspective the maple leafs just plain suck in the playoffs. All they do is talk about how Mathews and marner are the best players yet they can't win playoff games. It was Mathews who turned the puck over at the blue line to cause yet another goal for Florida. Ya Florida's goalie played well but you maple leafs get most of the power plays both games by a large margin because your the maple leafs and still can't get it done. LMAO what a joke.
