Not a fan of either team but that Gudas hit at 3:41 was one of the hardest hits I’ve ever seen. Literally double bounced him into the boards. How this wasn’t a penalty or suspension is mind blowing

I'm thinking Florida isn't very good. Given the amount of time Toronto has spent in the series either playing bad or not trying, you'd think Florida would have run up the score at some point. At least in the 3rd period of game 3. If the Leafs do okay we could wind up without the total rebuild that's needed. More of this circus for years.
Plus, we'll wind up with Florida getting spanked by Carolina. I should have learned my lesson with Montreal to not get caught up with an underdog story. Imagine if Boston hadn't gotten so entitled?

I feel like people didn't really watch the games. There were creative efforts in all games from Toronto. Including from the big guys. Posts. Big saves. The games could have easily went to Toronto, they just didn't.

Amazing how this series was 3-0, yet still the best series out of any in the 2nd round.
Haven't needed to see a third period in any of the late games. Sleeping well though.
All 1 goal games with the exception of the EN goal in G1. Been a tight series, despite what the tally shows.
If not for Bob this series would be tied. He stole game 2.
Joseph Woll is our best home grown goalie prospect in DECADES, going back to at least 30 years ago (Potvin) in the early 1990's. IMO he is NHL ready in a backup role. A couple years of that and if he continues at this level maybe a starting role.
Leafs definitely came in skating harder and passing better and it really showed. Glad to see they at least got 1 win in the series. Excited for the next game on Friday.

pretty sure it was Brodie who got called for holding the stick in front of the net on that play where Kampf was hit. the whole controversy of the play was that the hit was after the whistle had blown for the delayed penalty.

That's the way they can win defensively, they never gave up any fast breaks. They were taking the middle of the ice away from Florida which is the only thing they have. Toronto was bringing the defense up to slow down Florida enough for the forward's to be able to get on them forcing them to dump it in. Playing that style gives our forwards more energy, not having to go back from one end to another. Offence played like Florida has been doing, put two guys infront and have the guy who has the puck stay behind the net and just take it to the goal forcing one of the defense man to leave his man or you can shoot it. This Florida team has their goalie come way to far out to challenge the puck. Because they know that Toronto has no guys that are playing inside to pass too. Their always out side. Which gives the defense man lots of room to get any rebounds and, that is how they have been getting all the fast breaks out of their end. And it wears out the Leafs forwards having to skate so far back to defend. Tonight it was Florida who was doing that and you could see that they were tired. I'm sure that the best is yet to come and the Leafs will beat the Panthers.

Even though that one went right through him, I think getting the stick passed to him just before having to make that save was a tough one. Good on the Leafs to make the screen, and Marner's shot was a beaut, but Bobrovsky is still playing well.

Trust me, I gave up on them after Game 3, but if they can get their ass in gear, and stop screwing themselves over which they are known to do, they can go deep. They have very talented players, Toronto needs to stop being greedy for all the money too. It's going to take a lot more hard work and dedication to get past the Panthers.
Finally, they protected their net and their goalie properly. If they keep doing that, they’ll win the series.

You never know. Anything can happen in the playoffs. Panthers came in to this series overconfident. Things are starting to get emotional now for them. That's something the Leafs can use against them.
