    Beautiful motorcycle. I have an 1800 but I have to admit. I miss my 2000 GL1500 SE very much. Gonna buy a new 1500 in the spring as a restore project. All the best to ya man. Be safe and enjoy.

    NIce Bike...looks like mine. Interesting concept however, GL1500 the "Workhorse" of Motorcycles. I have actually volunteered to do the weekly grocery run just to find an excuse to ride my Goldwing. It's amazing just how much this bike can store and carry. Stay Safe

    Hey good for you I also deliver food with all 3 food apps on my goldwing Gl1200 I have learned that placing the drink tray inside the saddle bags and holding it with the food bag if it fits inside as well to prevent spilling. Another idea is to carry pizza get yourself a pizza bag and place it on top on the touring case bracket and use bungee cords to tie it down you will be good to go!!!! There’s no stopping a wing!!!!

      You are right, good sir!! But I like to keep everything in the main bag if I can help it. As for the pizza box…I have a bag, but since the back is at an angle I’d hate to deliver a lop-sided pizza!
      My next endeavor is going to be setting up my tw200 for Uber!!

    Not agile enough? Try using more hand pressure in "Counter Steering" (Counter Steering: Push Left Hand too Go Left, Push Right Hand too Go Right!) an always look through where you want too go! My GL1500 sound system sucks, with no reception, even with huge antenna. Now I've got another problem: starter button does not want too release too original position, but wants too spin starter until starter button manually pulled out with fingers! (Not good!) Did you see biker get arrested in Wal mart for wearing his helmet in store, like you just did? I think his settlement was around $650,000, but was a real legal hastle!

    • @vaultexplorers1337
      @vaultexplorers1337  Před 2 lety +2

      I’m very familiar with counter steering, the bike handles well enough. It’s just not as agile as other bikes we own. It’s fun to delivery but can be a little trick maneuvering. Sucks about your stereo, I personally don’t use the radio, only with a transmitter to run my iPhone. And they seem like work to upgrade front speakers. I haven’t had problems with the starter button yet. Hope you work it out soon!! QD electrical spray maybe?
      Thanks for the comment!! Ride safe!

      I kept staying an working starter button until it released on it own! Then kept putting pressure on outside edge an popping action until it now works normal! You need patience because freeing button took several days!

    My gl 1500 has a small trailer to deliver documents and etc. Where did you get the "food bag"? What brand? As my friend aptly put it ; Honda Goldwings are almost 2 wheeled cars , or convertibles as he calls them 😃

    • @vaultexplorers1337
      @vaultexplorers1337  Před 2 lety

      A trailer would be an awesome set for delivery! But for me the GL1500 is not an optimal choose for food delivery around town and short trips. Probably bc I am getting older and fatigue easily. The food bag was an amazon purchase, Git Bags. Rectangular food bag with a drink compartment. I used a separate drink bag bc of the high volume of individual drink orders. If I get enough requests for it I’ll put out a video on the food delivery set up. Thanks for the comment! Ride safe out there.

      You can definitely ride a Gold Wing 1500. Actually it rides like a bicycle ... once it's moving. Moving it back and forth is a bit demanding and need attention, die to it's weight of course. Slow sharp curves need attention. Other than that an easy ride, believe me. Don't worry, get a one and take a ride. The only disadvantage, so to say: once you had a Gold Wing you probably won't like any other motorbike. The luxury, the size, the comfort and the 6-cyl. engine, so silent and smooth - no vibrations ... nothing can top that. So for the rest of your life you may be hooked up to a Gold Wing, while the "biggest" one in terms of size was the 1500. My one is now 34 years old and I was sometimes looking for other options ... but finally end up with my Gold Wing 1500.
      If you bought a one an became as happy with it like I am with my one, please let me know.
      Kindest Regards,
      Andreas

      @@andreasfoitzik6749 I agree with some of what you're saying. There may be a bit of a communication disconnect. I am very familiar with riding this bike, my opinions on its handling are my own. The GL1500 is an OK bike for around town riding, but it is meant for long distances touring. That said, I am not a Goldwing guy. Its not my style of bike but it is something that I have currently have. It does not handle well at slow speeds, overheats in town, and is a pain in the ass to maintain anything past the battery and fuses. But these are my opinions only. I would not recommend this bike for food delivery or short trips for beginners. Thank you for watching our video and commenting!! Stay safe on your GL1500!!
