I was hoping for Ryzen 7 7800X3D paired with this monster GPU RX 7900XTX
Yeah, i wanna see that too!
Even at 1080p the 7900XTX isn’t going to be bottlenecked by a 13th gen intel cpu. At least not meaningfully, maybe if you want 712fps vs 700 in cs go then it does but otherwise, should be fine. Even my 4090 isn’t bottlenecked often by my 5800X3D, still grabbing a 7800X3D since flight simulator is brutal on the cpu but otherwise
@@jolness1What's it like having all that power?😮
@@jolness1 you should get 7800X3D, it's fun to fly planes, but stutters and lags just kills the moods, so yeah you definitely get that CPU
@@jolness1 Do you think an i9 is an overkill? Or which one would you recommend?
Would love to see the RX7900XTX paired with Ryzen 7 7700x in triple monitor game action!
Thank you for the power num's. Incredible gpu and gorgeous build 👍
Kindest regards, neighbours and friends.
I run a 7900xtx and a 7800x3D; highly recommend that setup
Hey man. I'm building a pc with the same cpu and gpu. I'm just curious what cooler are you using for the CPU and how are the temps. Thanks in advance.

@@intelluck4213 nice, at the end I went for the EK AIO 360 and I've very happy with it. In idle 40. Gaming 45 to 60 depending on the game and cpu usage and 71 max in benchmarks.
@@TheBoldHairspring Those are some impressive figures. I hope to achieve the same because I just ordered the same configuration as you yesterday. I pick it up next week. This is what I settled on.

Would love to see Linux & Emulation on an AMD CPU like the 7900 (non X) or 7800X3D.
👍👍👍
Get an nvidia RTX for emulation
Most emulators perform way better with nvidia

True!
@@ionamygdalon2263 No thats not really true at all lol
Definitely curious how this will do on an all team red setup. I assume chimera OS? Recently tried that on a vcs and was pretty impressed given what its working with.
Glad to see your rig has the 13600k ,i just bought one and the 7900xtx was my first thought to match.
You got a pretty sweet rig. My first time seeing it.
Definitely all AMD set up and I love the black and white theme!
I also have a Black and White themed PC (although a cheaper version) platform is MSI B650M Mortar Wifi with Ryzen 7 7700X, 32 Gb of ddr5 6000 Rgb Ram, Power Color Hellhound Spectral White RX 6650 XT, 1TB Samsung 980 Pro SSD, 660W Fractal Design 80+ Platinum PSU, with a three set of white Corsair QL 120 RGB fans (all rgb set to white) built into a Fractal Design Meshify 2 Mini white case(which is technically black and white).
Sweeeeeet! Ya, I'd love to see it on a Ryzen set up.
Great video! I have a Corsair RM850x Gold PSU, will this be enough yo power this beast?
Hey, have you thought on doing a video overclocking a 780m to the limit? I think it would be really nice to watch ,(sorry for my English)
Yes to all AMD, and definitely would love to see Linux performance.
Emulation would be moot really but still interesting to see.
Have a great day.
Definitely go with all AMD, but either the 7800x3D or 7950x3D for both Windows or Linux. But with an extra special feature of using Smart Acces Memory, just to see if that hardware feature actually helps without FSR
I wouldn't this generation, not with EXPO drama that affected all amd manufacturers few months back. All the bios updates have effectively crippled advertised performance so as to not burn the CPUs and chipsets. 7th gen x3D cpus are affected extra. That and few manufacturers having too thin motherboards. This is a minefield generation for AMD.
And its a damn shame since AMD has better power consumption.
7800 is more realistic for most of us
swap over to a 7800X3d love to see if there was any improvements in performance.
I want to see the full AMD build.
Nice review.
And If you catch the sales you can find the xtx for around 800-840$
Yes, PLEASE do Linux benchmarks. Also, please do some emulation!
would love to see an AMD CPU to see the differences since I am soon buying a 7900 XTX myself! :D
I had 7950x that carked it after 6 months. I ended up getting a 7800 x3D and I'm much happier with it, so much cooler and quieter under gaming load. 95 degrees to 60 with an AIO.
i wonder what to get 7950x3d vs 7800x3d... I do mostly video editing but also Sim Racing
I went all in with 7800x3D and rx7900xtx taichi all white. I guess i won, big time !
Now i want to see this monster in emulation like in 8K
Beautiful rig
Yeah, I'm curious about an all AMD set up.
@ETAPRIME can we put this beauty in an egpu such as razer core or something else ?
Swap to AMD for sure. Thanks for the continued great content.
I pretty much am getting the exact setup minus the extra 32gb ram, i was wondering how does it do with streamng, gaming, and editing content, as thats what ill be using it for.
Would love this card in my new PC that im about to build... I just got the AW3423DWF, and then i want the asrock b650e taichi lite with a 7800X3D
Is my 850w PSU okay for this GPU? I know it's recommended to have a 1000w PSU on Microcenter and Newegg but I wonder if that is even needed?
do you run all your tests with resizable bar on? anything overclocked?
Please test Atari emulation. Need to make sure they run without dropping frames.
what power supply is needed? i have be quiet pure power m12 850W . is that enough? I'm thinking about buying this graphics card and only in the future I plan to buy a ryzen 9 7900x3d
Picked up a Red Devil XTX for 750 last week and I'm blown away at how easily it handles games that used to give me troubles. Deus Ex Mankind Divided Ultra 4K? 100fps. Elden Ring Maximum at 4K? 100fps. Insanity.
The coil whine is real?
@@KarlynGR Yes, in some cases
Does it crash? I’m thinking of getting the card
@@shango90 no, I've gotten no crashes at stock speeds. Only crashes were from trying to undervolt and overclock too hard.
@@svrking14 do u play with discord in the background? And do u play Warframe. Also thx for the info! I won’t be Oc’ing the gpu but it’s good info
With the recent price drops, this might be my next card :)
So do you actually use 3 separate 8 pin cables or did you use 1 that has three 8 pin connections at the end
definitlty an all AMD ..I'm running a 7900x with the AsRock 7900 XTX Phantom with 64GB of ram and loving it!!
What case is this? Im wondering if this would fit in the lancool 2 mesh with an aio rad in front
I recently got an 7900xtx and its BEASTLY!!! it has enough RT performance to play but just gaming in general i feel its overkill aka future proofed , everyone wants an high end CPU but at 4k and 2k this card doesn't care about the CPU it just strong arms FPS out , my CPU never goes above 20% and going higher will only net you a few more FPS , I look at it as headroom instead of running out to get 300+ FPS when my display is only 120 , plenty of upgrade space w/o it having to be my GPU the gen or so ,its cheaper to upgrade mobo and CPU than GPU or maybe im backwards but it works
Same handles everything at 3440x1440.Only cyberpunk RT really tanks my fps but i just shut it off.Besides CP 2077 anyways RT has not impressed me that much.Adrenalin tho is so much better than nvidia dated control panel sh!t
I will get this for my first PC build it´s going to be an all white build with Kraken elite 360 AIO and Ryzen 79050x3d CPU
Always baffled me why the don’t put the bios switch on the IO panel. It’s cumbersome taking your side panel off to flick a switch and put it back on. Kind of negates the whole addition. But still, it’s nice to have I suppose.
This is the card I'd like to replace my 6600xt with but it's too expensive, hoping I can at least get a 6800 after I sell my older pc and my 6600xt. Always have preferred AMD
Im not an AMD fan at all but that's a Really nice looking GPU. Hopefully the prices continue to drop and maybe I'll consider it.
what case are you using on this video
How do you mount the gpu support?
I’m a Mac guy, and my MacBook Pro is starting to show its age. I do a lot of 3D design and I think I could save a lot of money by picking up a 2021 MacBookpro intel chip and pairing that with an eGPU like the RTX4060ti or the 4090 rather than pay more than double the price for an M1 or M2 ultra 🍎 chip. Since I have my doubts that even the huge amount of gpu cores that Apple M2 chips boast will compare to industry standard Nvidea gpu’s. But guys, what do you think? Am I right to stick with intel and outsource my gpu’s or pay more for probably less quality but more compact new shiny Apple product?? ETA please feel free to chime in, I’m looking to possibly purchase this prime day lol ETA Prime day
Totally pair XTX with an x3D cuz its satisfying 😅
Did he mention that he will have a video comin' up very soon?
Just noticed the V-Ram usage NEVER went higher than 10.5gb on any of the titles🤔
yes please try this with steamos3
All amd would be cool
How many watts is the power supply?
do you have a 4090 on your main rig?
This gpu looks so good
What happened to the potential Linux system with this GPU?
where did you buy that cat figure?
Is the video card still working? Isn't the chip dead?
I have just bought a new pc it has an amd Ryzen 9 7900X 3d and a Gigabyte Radeon RX 7900XTX. It is a beast.
AMD 7900X 3D would be nice.
Legends says the lucky waving cat beside your Desktop provides 200% FPS boost on 4K settings 😂 link for the cat 🐈
Beautiful card!! If you run amd cpu you can access SAM and get more fps
What about fan noise?
In the future, they should sell models with no ray tracing at all but make it cheaper
Wheres themkre i depth vid for the oneplus psd
What pc case is that?
Just ordered this card. Upgrading from a white RTX 3080. Will see how it goes. Last AMD GPU i used was maybe like 15 years ago. Since then always Nvidia.
The 1% lows do kinda worry me as these are way lower on AMD and can result in less smooth gameplay. I hope i wont experience that but we will see. Was also thinking about getting a 4080 but i do not really care about RT performance. I do like the productiviy advantages of Nividia though but this white Taichi now costed me 1049 euro and the cheapest 4080 that i would have gotten was like 1280 ( not the cheapest but the cheapest of decent quality) so it would have costed me more than 200 extra and as i do not use RT the 7900xtx gives better perfomance. Hope i made the right choice :) It is just that if i ever want to get into deeplearning i am screwed. Thats what kinde makes me feel worried.
I see u use two GPU cables, not three dedicated ones. Any issues with powerdraw or increased coilwhine due to that?
Hey man, I also have a 3080 how is the swap because I’m thinking of switching also

My vote is for the 7950x3d paired with the rx 7900xtx
Just here to support the channel with a view
Ideally continue with AMD CPU. See how that would work as Steam GameStation (as I would like to call it)
If you decide to swap the card to an all AMD system, make sure you got the system ram to go with it. That 13600K didn't even break a sweat, really. And probably go with an AMD CPU that is meant to do gaming so that you can push all the FPS you can out of that 7900 XTX.
Name of Case ?
It's beautiful that GPU
Would enjoy a Linux test on this.
Wow, you forget how good these games are supposed to look when they're running at 1080p low 😂

Been playing every "broken" game at native 4k@60fps+ maxed on Day 1. My XFX 7900 XTX hits 3Ghz at 56c on air!! Paired with my 5950x it got the job done! I just ordered AM5, 7950X3D to really unleash this monster and I cannot recommend it enough. Fyi, my card draws no more than 450w even a 3Ghz under load. My 24GB VRAM is over 1.1Tbs and again, it just rapes 😅
Which 7900 xtx did u get?
That price though 😖😖
Such a good bargain.

How does this gpu handle ps3 emulation?
Kinda wish these companies would give more support for those of us who like a more itx setup. I don't know if these massive heatsinks are truly necessary.
ya right and when the gpu reaches high temps ppl will complain why arent they cooling their gpus properly.
4060/4060ti or wait for 7600 itx
200mm gpu is all over
+1 vote, make GPU’s small again!
Most of the time, those massive heat-sinks are overkill, but the companies do it as a safety margin, as those GPU's aren't going to be used in stable and equal environment by everyone. Like those heat-sinks are overkill for say someone who lives in Canada or Russia, which generally have colder climate even during summer, compared to someone who uses them in say India or Africa or Arab countries, where it's easy to hit 35°+ C during summer and not many people use AC's at home.
@Coliz1991 4060 is rubbish, dead before arrival. Just watch any reviews channel
Why would you pair this GPU with an i5 CPU? Even if it is current gen, seems like it can easily get CPU bottlenecked.
Amd gpu are good at handling bottlenecks of lower cpu and plus he said he didn’t have time to change the parts before recording the video he change in other starflied give away video.

Hi. Unless you aim for a 7900(non X) or the 7800x 3D, i'm not sure that you will see a difference, especially in 4K. 13600K is one of the best, if not the best cpu all-rounder. I got the 5800x 3D, and the only benefit i have is the low consumption, but it comes with heat, even tweaked. I got an 7900 XT OC/UV, and it seems i reached a good value, for 285W total. from a 350W TDP, that doesn't seem much but sill, a gain is a gain. Maybe TAICHI models have better chips. Maxxed out, almost 3 Ghz, for "only" 400W.......that's good. But could you do more with less ? 😇 i'm pretty sure you can achieve 2800+ with 350W or a little less. Still more wattage than Nvidias, but better for Linux as well. Strangely, it seems there is little difference 4070 TI and 4080 models, in wattage required. let's say 4080 for 270W, 7900 XTX for 350W....considering the price difference, that's a go for me.
I might in the future upgrade to a DDR5 platform, still with the 7900 XT. and see if gains there are......over 5 ghz and beyond......🧐
The flight simulator gpu
1000 wats... Oh my gosh......
