- In what may have been my last time targeting coho this fall, I reflected on how fun the season was. Throughout the day I managed to hook some fish on both spinners and beads, but I didn't hook into anything that looked like it came up with the most recent high water. Altogether, though, I am ready to move on and to some new water and the next run of fish on my radar--winter steelhead. I really can't be happier with how the fall coho run welcomed me to Washington. I know as summer 2022 ends, I'm really going to be looking forward to doing this all over again.
Nice fish! Thanks for sharing! Hopefully next year will be better.
I agree with you, the rain completely changed the river... I live in the grays harbor and I am too sad about how the season is pretty much over. Great videos bro! Thanks for sharing
Yeah, I’m done for now too. This rain really ruined some of the best weeks of fishing, but next year should hopefully be better. Now we wait for springers and some winter run.
Man that river got blown out after the huge rain, new river is some spots
nice fish! looking forward to your steelhead posts
So far no luck with steelhead for me this winter. I'm new to Washington, so there's still lots to figure out. Thanks for the good vibes!
@@CarsonPrichard itll happen for you eventually, abvsolutely a learning curve. best of luck and tight lines!
P.S - you ever make it down to Southern Oregon, look me up.
Wooowwww. You did a goodjob man.. fish on
hows the first lite jacket
It fits really well and it's really comfortable. I have a medium and I'm 5'9", 155-160 lbs. I like the fit of the hood and the pockets are situated nicely. It's not as warm as I hoped for the price.
what were you using?
10 mm trout beads
@@CarsonPrichard that usually spells flosser.
It's against the law to take a salmon out of the water and take a picture and release it.
Thanks for pointing this out. I did not know this applied to all salmon and steelhead, even hatchery fish.
