Ukrainian's military is so much more organized than russians, after the annexation of Krime and they are defending, which is a huge advantage (not for the civillians, ofcourse...). Russia most likely won't attack Poland (too risky, both a NATO and EU nation AND the Baltic countries are an easier prey if putin wants more land for his delusional dreams of renewed CCCR) Don't worry too much about the nuclear weapons. Only a complete madman would use it in this day and age and they would have to face all the consequences (like open war with NATO, which Russia has no hope at all to win). Even then, look how much help Ukraine is given, imagine how much help Poland would get from all the allied nations. Hope that helps you sleep.

I have to point out, that even though Russian gas comprises over 90 % of Finnish gas imports, natural gas itself is NOT at all a big component of the Finnish energy mix and contributes only a few percentages to the total.

I’m a farmer in Western Australia. In a cruel twist of fate, we’ve been unable to seize on the high wheat prices because of the incredible season that we’ve just experienced. Which has flooded the WA export terminals and severely hampered the states ability to get the grain out of the country. At the same time our overheads have shot through the roof as we are unable to source the essential resources (chemical, steel, fuel etc.) necessary to the ongoing operations of our business. Who would’ve thought three years ago this kind of global instability would result

I live in Groningen, basically on top of the gas field. Recent polls have shown that a majority of citizens here now support extracting more gas to decrease our dependency on Russia, and I agree with this. However, this will mean that the government has to invest more into making buildings earthquake-proof and compensating people, which it obviously does not want to do. So it took years to get recognition and compensation for the damage up until now, let alone the damage that extracting more gas will cause. For years it felt as if the national government spent the money it made from extracting gas on things that did not benefit the locals at all. If we had been quickly and adequately compensated from the start, the problem would have been much less severe. But now I can already predict the protests that will occur over the next 10 years.
I guess if we still want gas we have to sacrifice even more money for better earthquake resistance. What have you done Putin?!
Can’t you make that EU issue? I would say since that gas will come as strategic for whole EU energy policy, there could be some kind of EU fund for such thing. 400 million people splitting the bill for damages to locals would have easier time than government of 17 million.

9:40 this map lacks the context of how much of each countries energy production relies on gas, for example the 94% for Finland might seem like catastrophic overextension, but natural gas overall is only 5% of the countries entire energy consumption.
Yes we in germany for example use Gas only for Heating, and it's not the Only Heat Source we use. it Would still be very Difficult but it'll not happen that residents have Cold Houses, that's imposibble. It's always overwatched what this Gas is used for and what not

I am from Kazakhstan and the consequences of these sanctions are already being felt here, as Russia was connecting us with Europe. For example, we are experiencing a "paper deficit". We have the initial paper after being produced from trees, but I don't know how they are called, but things needed to make these papers ideal white have been imported from Europe. As a result, schools from example are having serious problems.

How did you manage to overlook Algeria as a provider of gas to Europe? Algeria is the second largest exporter of gas in Africa, it’s right there on the Mediterranean and has direct pipelines to Italy and Spain.
why will Algeria not provide gas to its own continent. Specially the bigger countries around it? eh? The west is yesterday. Africa is today

This is because Gas is such a minor player in Finnish energy. it's mainly used for district heating and for some manufacturing. It's only 6% of all energy consumption of Finland.
Were also at the beginning steps of replacing natural gas with biogas and other renewable bio fuels.

I know you have to use stock footage, but the clip at 12:53 to show damage to Dutch houses is laughably inaccurate. You show complete devastation, presumably hurricane damage, whereas in reality we're talking about cracks in brick walls. Those "significant earthquakes" you mention are indeed bad, but I think it's important to mention here that the most powerful quake was a whopping... 3.6 magnitude.
A while back they talked about a fire at a chemical refinery that happened near me, they showed stock footage of the downtown area of a city a few miles away.

You have quality videos, but the endings on some of them bother me a bit because the assumptions aren't completely true.
There are plenty of videos about war, terrorism, genocide, and other 'dark' or 'controversial' topics on CZcams that do not get demonetized despite containing real footage, images, etc. Another thing to note is that age-restricted videos do get picked up by the algorithm; they aren't necessarily the same as unlisted videos. If the video is from an educational standpoint, like most of yours are, it shouldn't get demonetized.

The German military is in a BAD state. Mostly dumb people go there, others choose medical services/paramedic (very helpful if you want to become a doctor) or other civil services. Our military equipment is mostly from the 80ies and very outdated. No one wants to join the army. We have no military pride culture like the US. We kinda lookdown on soldiers. It’s also very bureaucratic. I don’t have high hopes for our army 🤣🙈

I feel like there is one more part that is understated when it comes to the wheat situation, any area that has seen fighting that produces wheat may very well be destroyed, will not be in production for around a year after the war is over, and likely not at pre-war production levels. Meaning that wheat from Ukraine is most likely to be substantially lower for the foreseeable future - and this is not even mentioning any farmers who have died or injured and now cannot work said fields anymore.
Can we also acknowledge the fact that the biggest wheat crisis comes from feeding most of the wheat to farm animals, and that humans can be healthy eating just plants. If we ate the wheat directly there would be no problem.
