I found something quicker, slide a saw blade behind and cut the pieces of adhesive away from mirrors. Then pass a small hand sander over the area, took less than 10 minutes total. I had 23 mirrors to remove

Great job, I need to do mine coz they were put up wrong. I see yours didn't, but wouldn't heat normally crack the mirrors?
I assume too much heat would crack them but I think the glue would melt before that happened
A sharp edge spatula The kind that painters use,works better than a ruler. And with the 2 of you, you could have continued using the heat gun while working the spatula underneath the mirror. It would have come off a lot cleaner and easier.
A spatula could scratch the wall and is good she did it this way, because many people live by themselves and have no one that can help them when they need it...

After removing, do you know where we can get additional double sided tapes, don't see them separately sold on Ikea website. Or, does any normal double sided tape work with this?
I would recommend getting strong command strips from Home Depot, Amazon etc. Although the mirrors aren’t heavy, I recommend the strong ones for extra security

Can this be use to remove mirror from wood?.
Hmm I assume it can be done. My guess is that it may rip some of the wood off the same way it ripped some of my paint off. I’d suggest doing some research on removing an adhesive from wood. Good luck!

I broke a couple trying to get them off in my classroom, guess I need to use to heat to remove them. I plan to just throw them away and get a mirror that can be screwed into the wall-much easier to deal with
