Music video by Jamie Cullum performing All At Sea. (C) 2003 Universal Classics & Jazz - Hudba
I love being part of a small club of listeners who love a great song...feels like I've got this great, happy secret
I remember thinking when this song came out that it was going to be a huge hit. I still don't understand why it isn't a pop favorite and getting play in commercials and movies, etc.
Then again, I hadn't seen this video; he looks like Quentin Tarantino's annoying little brother
And I'm loving this song in 2022. Glad to be in the club
Small club with 3.1 mil members☺️
Not such a small coterie. in Holland this was a sleeper hit and made it to the higher regions of the top 2000 songs of all time as decided by the listeners of the country's biggest radio station
True!
whos still play 2019?? 🙋🏻♂️
hey)
Me
me all day!!!! Jamie refreshes my soul!!!!
2020
2020
This song was the reason I purchased all of Jamie's albums. This guy is the real deal. Such a talent.
Ikr❤
Right !! I’m 22 and I love him so much thank for for my mom
He's bright af. Love this song since the first time I heard it.
Oh My Gosh Just discovered! I love this song! So Emotional! Is moving!😍😍💖💖💖💖I'm agree with you!
His first album is among my favorites. I don't understand why more ppl aren't listening to him. He's the real deal.
absolutely.
because the most beatiful things need to be kept a secret for special ones like us
Wondering that too. He's so talented. I've been listening to him since 2006. Surprised he's not blown up yet.
My mom fell in love with Cullum's music and saw him in concert back in 2006. She passed away in 2009 and this song was among her favorites. I will never hear a song by Jamie Cullum without thinking of her. She loved the guy.
That`s beautiful! My mom introduced me to Jamie Cullum too. 😊 He is such a great artist and seems to be a really nice person too!
Touching. So tragically and wonderfully connected. I'm sorry for your loss.
I´m so sorry about your mom´s passing!! I went to see him in México City at the Metropolitan Theater back around 2007 - I too lost my mom, when I was only 10yrs old, so I know the endless whole one walks with always!! Sending you love your way!
RIP Mom
Jamie's voice it's like a warm drink that seeps into my soul. :)
You gotta admire the fact he spent his Uni grant on recording an album. That took balls!
school is overrated
"I gave away my phone" resonates a little differently in 2020 than 2004 :P
Yep it does! However still want to do it
Jamie Callum "All At Sea"
I'm all at sea
Where no-one can bother me
Forgot my roots
If only for a day
Just me and my thoughts sailing far away
Like a warm drink it seeps into my soul
Please just leave me right here on my own
Later on you could spend some time with me
If you want to
All at sea
I'm all at sea
Where no-one can bother me
I sleep by myself
I drink on my own
Don't speak to nobody
I gave away my phone
Like a warm drink it seeps into my soul
Please just leave me right here on my own
Later on you could spend some time with me
If you want to
All at sea
Now I need you more than ever, I need you more than ever, now
You don't need it every day
But sometimes don't you just crave
To disappear within your mind
You never know what you might find
So come and spend some time with me
We will spend it all at sea
Like a warm drink it seeps into my soul
Please just leave me right here on my own
Later on you could spend some time with me
If you want to
All at sea
:D :D :D
Thanks mate:)
who else was sent here by jacob collier ? definitely not disappointed !
You know it
Ahuh
oui! my mom & i are listening rn 😭 lmfao
same
Been listening to Jamie for 20 years.... just found Jacob as a result. 😄❤️
I don't really understand why this isn't more popular. It's a lovely song throughout, but the tempo change near the end elevates it to a greater height. I guess it was too perfect for some.
+Xervello I know right. I love the part at 2:34 -3:53 were Jamie starts rocking out :)
Dikke duim!!
"Near the end"? It's 2/3 into the song. I remember liking this song, but 14 years later...it's kind of meh or lame, take your generational pick.
Hear hear! I don't understand people sometimes.
Jazz music
This song came out before social media. Imagine a life. Sometimes we really do need to unplug. Great memories associated w/this song. Time waits for no one.
First heard this song 14 years ago, still brings me to tears when I listen to this masterpiece
I remember him from seeing the promos on VH1 in high school when the channel still has redeeming value. They'd air vignettes on various new artists like The Fray or Corrine Bailey Rae. Not sure what's even it now. 99% reality shows no doubt.
There are very few words intense enough to describe what does this beautiful song to my soul. I guess it just reminds me that solitude can be such a happy time...
never ever understood why this song and Jamie weren't more popular.
I have always loved this song from the "Twentysomething" album and have been a fan of Jamie Cullum's musical artistry behind the keys and vocals. I remember getting a copy of this album and I played the crap out of it. It was and still is a great jam. It takes me back to when I was dating my musician boyfriend of 12 years back in 2005 (still together ever since). Great memories. Thanks for posting this.
This song came out when I was a freshmen in high school, 15 years ago, damn I’m old.
God, this song brings me back. Freshman year of college. Had a beautiful girlfriend. All we did was smoke weed, surf and listen to music. Good times.
I go to this song when I need to get away! Jamie is a master of his craft but his voice and delivery are what speak to me.
Beautiful song. It always makes me feel better when I'm sad. I had a rough time and this song helped me getting trough it.
xMissAnne Yes it doee. Like right now
I came here because of Jacob Collier,
and I love it...
Only a million views?
It must only count my plays.
Hahahaha right! Nah man half are mine:) Team effort *highfive.
Haha! *high Fives*
Brother!
I'm a girl hahaa:)
Noooelleee Oh shit! You are a girl, you are a cute girl!
My apologies Miss Noooeliee, these pictures are just too small!
Thank you very much:) Ha aw you called me Miss. Old school:) Love it! I actually changed my picture just for you haha, so it wasn't a group picture. But I'm not too sure about this one either.
The lyrics are so subtle, most people get it wrong saying it is about aloneness. It is not about others but about the roots of a split in us: he calls them roots vs spirit. Roots are the senses, the flesh, what ties me in finitude to time and space. Spirit is eternal. Self transcendence.
I've seen him live again last night, it was just extraordinary, I had to wait 6 years to see him back. When he played this song, I had tears in my eyes, I don't know why. It was just beautiful. I can't explain it. This man is such a great musician and performer.
Same here yesterday, 2022. After six years waiting.
I remember I heard this song a lot when I was a kid, and i've been looking for it almost 20 years, finally found it. Thanks to my curiosity and that random person I just stalked on FB and posted this album cover.
Raise your hand if you are here after Jacob Collier rendition!!!
I'm glad someone is singing it's okay to be MIA. I've loved this song since I was little. Sometimes you just want to be by yourself. Love this song
it's 2004 all over again.
This was THE song I listened to that summer, the summer I graduated from high school. Every summer has a song, I think...
This is a great show song and I have been a fan of Jamie Cullum's musical artistry. I remember getting a copy of this CD back in 2005 and I played the crap out of it ever since. Twenty Something takes me back to when I started dating my musician boyfriend of 12 years. Great memories. Thank you for posting this.
Like a warm drink, this song seeped into my soul when this music video debuted. It stuck with me all these years & I can still remember the words after only hearing it a few times. It’s one of those songs of a lifetime. ❤
Years Later I remember this song. For every songwriter or musician, this is the effect you should strive for
I used to hear this song on the radio around 2003? I loved it...and forgot about it. This morning as i woke up feeling pretty yucky it happened to come on. It helped me. I realized how much i missed this song. I dont have to miss it anymore!
I don't know how I came to know this song, but it's been drifting in and out of my mind for years.. it's beautiful
i wish she'd have never introduced me to this song because it foretold a sad era of my life without her. then i realized i didn't miss her, i actually missed me.
I Saw Jamie Live at Glastonbury in 2009 he was BLOODY Fantastic he even did a Tribute to my IDOL MICHAEL JACKSON, as this Was the Year Sadly 😢my IDOL WAS KILLED/DIED Jamie did a Jazz Version of THRILLER in Honour of The REAL KING OF POP ❤
CZcams needs a love button.. because i would be clicking the shit out of it right now!!!
I just, just love this song! The man is just class.
lucky enough to see him perform live once. so talented. this song is my favourite 😁
This takes me back to freshmen year of high school. I was a lonely 15 year old. I would sit alone in my room and listen to music I downloaded on Kazaa or Limewire, whatever it was at the time. This was one of the songs I would frequent.
Nostalgia of being in middle school and discovering this ❤️
Everytime i listen to this song, i feel like crying. it's so incredibly beautiful!
Love it soo much!
This is to me one the real jems, just wicked.just love the whole 20 something album.would love to see him play live .
Love the little details, like the two piano accents at 1:45. A beautiful, 'small', unassuming song, that I consider pretty rare nowadays. Lovely
I LOVE THIS SONG!
What a talent!!! So much love and soul.......
When I moved to Kentucky and I got my first apartment, I brought this album and loved it so much, I started to get my grandma a copy but she told me to send the the name of the songs because she had the internet.
I loved this album when I moved to Kentucky and it's nostalgic now.
This has probably been one of my "secret" songs since I was in high school, and now I'm 23 years old and still feeling the same. Immersely at sea, like calm. Jamie never did anything wrong. I'll love this song until the end of time.
(Well its not a secret anymore tho)
So 17 Y cca. Mr. Jamie is in my TOP 5 :) Well, Mr. Jamie...seams you are on right way ;)
i am from Mauritius and i love that song ;) i love the sea

This song reminds me of the calm after a storm
We attended our niece's wedding at St. Pete Beach, Fla. and the deejay had the good taste to play this incredibly fine song by Jamie Cullum. Sinatra in his prime couldn't have sung it any better.
We constantly play the crap we call music own the radio while let words of masterpieces drift in the wind...we wonder y the youth doesnt know real music...lets show them the way and i promise they will regain the brain cells they lost
long live jamie cullen
Took me years to find this song again...finally found it
I love this song on so many levels...I cannot possibly explain it. And memories attached to that time period...golden.
I used to play classical trumpet. I remember this song from 18 something. I hung out with mocking shadows alot at the vat in red deer back in 2001. I like swing but you sir have that reserved soul. This music isn't dead, it's forgotten. Keep going. So beautiful.
Just discovered this amzing and Emotional Song! 😍😍💖💖
This song is amazing. Takes me back 12 years back when i first started working at sea on ships. And now 12 years later my life is happening somewhere else. Jamie thanks for this song. I have listened it when you released it and i dreamt and imagined some better life elsewhere. But that is not the reality. Best part about imagining yourself at sea or somewhere else is that road of the unknown. Excitement of exploring new places, new people. I miss those days.
This song makes me Chill everytime i Hear it!!
I'd like this song to be played at my funeral🙏. It's kind of nostalgic but has these bright and easy vibes. That's how the loving people around me should remember me😊. I live close to the coast, so this song seems just perfect to me🌊💟
this was the first song I heard from him 9 year ago and still love it like first time ...such a genius
Just saw Jamie in concert Sunday night....amazing!!!! If you get the chance to see him do it .... you won't be sorry! One of the most amazing concerts!!
Still here.. all at sea. ❤
So much memory with this song ..
Still love this 😢
His voice is so pure!
Jamie, your songs take me away...ahhhh love it..what a feeling..thank you.
Me and my twin Sister use to Love listening to this song when we were about 11 or 12 now we're 28 yrs almost 29.
Jamie Cullum and Jesse McCartney are two of my favourite male artist that came out in the 2000s. They have a spacial place in my heart ❤❤
Vibing in 2020, anyone? 🌼
Is anyone else, by chance, feeling like this guy seems to have a relateable personality?
can't believe that this is powerful enough to bring me to memorable times..
The talent is 👌 need more music like this for our ears
I love this song ... it was a stress releaser when I was 13 ... still does it to this day ... : )
Words can't describe how beautiful this song is!
Heard this performed as a duet once-awesome!
How can you not like this?
There's something about his music that has a good melody but I don't really comprehend the lyrics and the meaning behind it until I've listened to it a dozen times. For some reason I understood this the second time listening because I connect to the lyrics really well.
One of the best songs on that album!
Love this Song,I Feel Lonely a lot of the Time ,but This Song makes me Happy ❤
Love this song so much!!
Jamie is a true artist. Yes, when he plays
you get to see his inner soul come alive.
Such a talent. I wish he offered a CD woth Gran Torino among the tracks.
This is a beautiful song. I simply love it❤️
2:12 that's where the best part start
I fail to express how much I loved this song as a kid who loves the ocean
Heard this song live two weeks ago.... Had tears in my eyes....
I have a live studio version of this on CD from the Mountain Music Lounge live recordings Vol.10. awesome song.
My favorite part of this video is him dancing around. It's just adorable. :-) This song itself is so thought-provoking. It brings lots of nice memories too.
I am all at sea,
Where no one can bother me.
Forgot my roots
If only for a day
Just me and my thoughts,
Sailing far away.
Like a warm drink
It seeps into my soul
Please just leave me
Right me here on my own
Later on you could spend time with me
If you want to
All at sea
🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊
I'm not a musician but if I were I'd be like Jamie. Just havin' fun doin' the thing I love to do.
I discovered his music this year. I have an extremely high respect for him and his band. They seem to really just care about music and not taking the easy way out and copying everyone else. I like that they have their own style and it keeps me coming back for more.
Might I also say, that after listening to his music, I started to take things slower. It seems like I needed something to make the beauty of the world stand out to me. I guess, the message he portrays really stands out to me. :).
Love this song, heard it at the Newport Jazz Fest!!! wonderful
Absolutely love Jamie Cullum, Love all his song,s. Thank You!
This song and New Shoes by Paulo Nutini were two of my top favorites. :)
I was searching for this artist and song so many years and finally today I found it :')
It's the best song of Jamie. I love him! (of course his music... )
JC just gets better, I was delighted with his BBC proms concert.
I was locked in the JC moment I now have the DVD Grand Torino and the DVD of JC get you way, saving them for the weekend.
Taking my niece who is 18 to the next available concert she is surprisingly a big fan but that's the magic is it not?
I'm in love with this voice!!!Just amazing!!!
This guy has an amazing voice!
