  • Embark on a journey with me as I explore the LEGENDARY Merdeka Square in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia 🇲🇾. Roaming around the Merdeka square, I admired the iconic landmarks and soaked in the rich history that unfolded in this historic space. Merdeka Square is also where Malaysia has annual Independence day celebrations. After a stroll around the government buildings, captivated by their unique architectural styles, I ventured on a city walk, seeking out a local gem for a delightful dining experience.
As fate would have it, the first restaurant I sought was closed until 4 pm. With 30 minutes to spare, I stumbled upon a nearby eatery and couldn't resist trying the delectable Neslo Ice. The flavors were so irresistible that I found myself enjoying a meal there as well.
With my appetite satisfied, I made my way to the eagerly awaited restaurant that opened at 4 pm - Kuey Teow Goreng Padu. The ambiance was bustling with activity just minutes after its doors swung open. I indulged in a plate of Nasi Lemak, savoring the authentic taste of traditional Malay cuisine. To sweeten the experience, I sampled some traditional Malay desserts, all while engaging with friendly locals who added warmth to the atmosphere.
Highly recommended for its fair prices and delicious offerings, Kuey Teow Goreng Padu proved to be a culinary haven. Join me in this exploration as I not only discover the grandeur of Merdeka Square but also indulge in the vibrant and flavorful experiences that Kuala Lumpur has to offer.
Please like, comment and share! This helps me out tons, appreciate it my friend.

If you like Neslo, when you go to Penang try Hor Ka Sai - they use traditional coffee mix milo. Mamak restaurant they usually call 'teh o ice' but chinese restaurant they call 'teh o ping'. ' ping' means ice in cantonese. In korean ice is also call ' ping'

I ❤ walking along the heritage trails in KL n seeing all the beautiful colonial buildings built during British era in 1900 to 1930. ❤ Going to KL Gallery, KL Library n Textile museum nearby coz i ❤ history n culture. Anyway, you can always watch old videos of merdeka celebration parade on CZcams. That long colonial building is called Sultan Abdul Samad building. There is a tourism office in that building where you can take pictures n pamphlets.
