- Leon Howard aka Wallstreet Trapper grew up in the turbulent streets of New Orleans. His mother was shot in front of him when he was 9 years old. He took to the street life early and was arrested and tried as an adult at the age of 16 for attempted murder and armed robbery. He was found guilty and sentenced to 10 years in Louisiana state penitentiary.

He was introduced to the stock market while he was incarcerated and fell in love with it instantly. He read every book and newspaper he could get his hands on and watched CNBC every morning religiously.
When he was released from jail he began working as an ironworker. While he was working he invested 70% of his income. After putting together a strategic plan he quit his job and became a full-time investor and entrepreneur. He now travels the country to teach other people with similar backgrounds about stocks and investing. He credits the stock market for changing his life and getting him out of the cycle of destruction that he was raised in. He now is on a mission to help educate as many people as possible about investing to provide a level of hope that he was not afforded as a youth.
He’s 100% self-educated but his knowledge in stocks is on par with an investment banker. In episode 44 he covered and explained every area of stocks in detail. Its worse here, our economy is like a flailing fish, fighting for its life. The normal state of the U.S. economy is actually very bad. Because of this it goes into convulsive spasms fighting to grow any way it can out of desperation. Tricks, gimmicks, rule changes try to stimulate the economy and prevent it from falling but they only bring temporary relief to people since, when you factor in inflation we are declining.
People believe their currency has the worth it does because they have no other option. Even in a hyperinflationary environment, individuals must continue to use their hyperinflationary currency since they likely have minimal access to other currencies or gold/silver coins.
Inflation is gradually going to become part of us and due to that fact any money you keep in cash or in a low-interest account declines in value each year. Investing is the only way to make your money grow and unless you have an exceptionally high income, investing is the only way most people will ever have enough money to retire.
I've tried investing in the stock market several times but always got discouraged by fluctuations of stock value. I would be happy if you could advise me based on how you went about yours, as I am ready to go the passive income path.!!

The media is currently barraged with a lot of economic data right now. It takes a lot to see beyond the whole ocean of news on focus on what is important, which is that no matter how low stocks go, they always bounce back. I really ignore all the news and keep investing. I recently allocated about $121k to put in the market as we anticipate a crash. Any recommendations?
Be careful not to jump into trading without any proper training because it can be very detrimental. Many folks jump into trading only to suffer great loss at the very beginning. Do not try to imitate advice you get on the internet. Better still, ask questions. Get the services of a professional stock expert or a licensed broker.

I personally don't like engaging in those mundane decisions, so I just allow a wealth manager do them for me. Been doing that since 2020, and have pulled in a cumulative of more than $213k.

Reason being that the entirety of their skillset revolves around going long and short at the same time both employing risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying off risk as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, coupled with the exclusive information/analysis they have, it's near impossible to not out-perform, been using a portfolio-advisor for about 2years+ and I've netted over 1.5million.
Hopefully the government doesn't let things become as bad as Argentina or Venezuela, my plan to just earn more gains passively and ride out this recession, can you portfolio-coach aid me?

Ways to decrease risk: Buy blue-chip stocks with a history of performance, Invest more money into index funds & ETFs that are well-diversified and Don't trade on hype. Remind yourself it's a long-term game Keep emotions out of the equation. By following this, i have been able to accrue north of $2.8M in the 3 years.

It’s like an inductive process where you’re expanding your foundational base of knowledge to build the next level above it; I think the pause or getting quiet on their part when he mentioned his daughters investment was analogous to a computer mandatorily rebooting itself after downloading new software. These are very valuable rules for anybody who wants to get rich. Unfortunately, most people who will watch this video will not really be able to apply the principles. We may not want to admit, but as Warren Buffett once said, investing is like any other profession-- it requires a certain level of expertise. No surprise that some people are losing a lot of money in the bear market, while others are making hundreds of thousands in profit. I just don't know how they do it. I have about $89k now to put in the market.

I know someone who made over $350k in this recession influenced market, but to the best of my knowledge, it was through a financial advisor.
Yeah, financial advisors could make a lot of difference, particularly in a market such as this. Stocks are pretty unstable at the moment, but if you do the right math, you should be just fine. Bloomberg and other finance media have been recording cases of folks gaining over 250k just in a matter of weeks/couple months, so I think there are a lot of wealth transfer in this downtime if you know where to look. I have been using an FA since 2019, and I return at least $21k ROI, and this does not include capital gain.

I own a couple of real estate properties (free/clear), but I'm not big on stock market investing (as he mentioned in the segment about people seeing it as not being tangible) but I have dabbled in it a bit. Investing in the stock market does seem intimidating (when you're not knowledgeable) but I may look more into his training for a better understanding. His analogies (the lion) was on point and it made so much sense when broken down and explained. One of the best podcast episodes I've ever watched/listened to. Hopefully he will be back soon. I am a church lady and they way he just broke down the market is better than anyone I've ever studied. Great Video ! Although all I can think of is the endless investment opportunities to invest and create wealth. 20 years ago no one would have guessed that there would Electronic Vehicles. Today, there's is an entire market for EVs, same with all the other tech that have sprung up over the years.

D White I mostly sell options as well. I love selling naked calls & puts, however I’m starting to use credit spreads more. I don’t use stop losses. If I want the stock, I sell naked. If I don’t or can’t afford it, I use credit spreads. Now I’m starting to use technicals to time my entries. Oh btw, I love trading weeklies

He said “Mate I’m making more from commissions and referrals that my clients give to me”, he said the more profit he earned me the more persons I told about this. I see for a fact now it’s true.
