Scissor seven was an anime that I went into with absolutely no expectations for (where I came from most of the anime on Netflix was pretty mid and I'd already watched all the good ones) but I was blown away. It's really, really good. Like better than it has any right to ever be.

Cover the Blackbird fight next; it was straight GAS. Seven and Blackbird run the 1’s for almost a whole episode but it still never has a dull moment. One of the most intense, gritty, and brilliant fight scenes I’ve seen.
For real. Blackbird started throwing hands as SOON as season 4 started.
I think he should cover green Phoenix next tho. Bro was holding onto that grudge for a while and almost caught the win.

Finally someone talks about scissor seven, it’s such a goatee show and I couldn’t wait for the 2nd season come out and when it did it was fire
I thought at first: The drawings are goofy as heck.
As I watch: Hilarious characters. Funny stuff that makes you laugh hard.
Actions Scenes: Woaah. I did not expect them. Suddenly drawing and animation styles became different. Choreography is next level
Deeper story: Man I can't believe it's actually cool.
The animation style in the start is misleading. It actually has good animation on fight scenes. Nice mix of goofy/dramatic/action pack series.

I remember turning to this on a random day when I was 15 after seeing a gif of it on discord (horrible) and being so impressed with it that I decided to stay. Scissor Seven is the goat, its like watching vinland saga's fight sequences paired with O.N.E's writing style, pure humour, pure fight class and pure quality. 10/10 for me and s3 theme has NO reason to lock me the fuck in that hard
The thing that really stands out about scissor seven is honestly how fucking funny it is. Like its something we DON'T really talk about enough in anime community... alot of anime... aren't funny. Especially the popular stuff. My hero, Demon Slayer, Black Clover, Fairy Tail/Eden Zero, and the boundless amounts of isekai make a few jokes then proceeds to repeat the same jokes for LITERALLY the entirety of the show (i'm looking at you zenitsu...) The creator of Scissor Seven said he was creating and writing these characters ever since he was in college years ago and thats why they're so fleshed out. He just experimented with them bouncing off each other for years vs most anime where they make a concept, make a few chapters and throw it on something like shounen jump or young ace and kinda just see where it goes since if it doesn't take off the serialization will be cancelled so modern mangakas don't try to be so invested in one series... Scissor Seven is a passion project and I love that its finally getting its time in the sun

Something to mention - Chinese services have more seasons of this show, and when they come out itll release more early. (Season 3 last I watched, which was 2 years ago). Also, dunno if this is on netflix ver but in the chinese ver his assasin past speaks mandarin while current speaks cantonese which is cool.
