SPR ability is all of the joestar abilitys since dio is considered a joestar because of his body he cna use him
The requiem arrow gives the user what they want in that moment. The most recent version of Jotaro always wanted to protect and preserve the life of his daughter Jolyne, so i believe that his requiem ability would be the control of fate, in other words, anyone that threatens the Joestar Lineage is going to be beaten by Jotaro no matter what, it doesn't matter if he die or if he's erased from existance, it will always end up as a victory directly caused by him.

João, none of that was ever proved, also, there are only 2 requiems in the entire history of JoJo, which makes it even harder to try to guess what Requiem arrows do.

I think star platinum, requiem ability would have full control over time so every time he is about to get hit, he’d just reversed and change the future
I would imagine Star Platinum Requiem would relate to humanity in some sense. Considering that requiems reflect the users in some sense, and DIO and Jotaro are meant to inherently be foils of each other (not to the same degree as Dio and Jonathan, of course, but the point still stands), it would make sense that if DIO's goal is to distance himself from his humanity, first by becoming a vampire then by becoming a god, thus completely severing any connection he had to his humanity, it would make sense that Jotaro, as a foil to DIO, would have a requiem that would tie him to humanity in some sense.

Instead of buffing the stand's original ability, Requiem rather gives it one corresponding to the user's desire. Having been beaten by Ultra Instinct Goku in the first round, Jotaro would wish for an ability that perfectly counters UI. I'm not completely up-to-date with Dragon Ball lore, but when UI is essentially having your body fight on itself instinctively, Star Platinum Requiem could probably create illusions of itself that only Goku's body reacts to while he himself has to defenslessly let Jotaro walk up to and beat the crap out of him with the real SPR. This wouldn't kill Goku but rather force him to power down to a weaker transformation of his, which would lead to an epic final clash between a slightly hurt not Ultra Instinct Goku and Jotaro (with a maybe slightly buffed Star Platinum).

I don't usually write that many CZcams comments, let alone edit them, but seeing what arguing it caused, I just wanted to ask you all not to take it too seriously. I just had this silly little fight scene between two of my favorite shonen protagonists in mind and only wanted to make it sound as epic as possible. Love to you all.

Star Platinum Requiem is from a really good fan animation of Jotaro vs Giorno (Requiem), you can watch it on youtube. Star Platinum Requiem has the power of every Joestar including Giorno and thus requiem's Return To Zero. Since DIO has Jonathan's body and is thus technically also a Joestar, that's where the taunt comes from where DIO is reading a book and DIO overheaven ultimate.
i remember seeing a fan animation where star platinum requiem gave jotaro the power of all the joestars, the title of the video was jotaro vs giorno (what if) ifrc, pretty cool video

Requiem gives you a upgraded version of your stand that gives you the exact ability you need in the situation your in.
I think the "taunt" is his powerup just like gokus transformstion the story time is him remembering DIO's diary which can make someone achieve heaven Jotaro used it so he can kill Goku and the last part is DIO Over Heaven which can overwrite anything he can even make him not exist

I think Jotaro's requiem would be able to fast forward and reverse time, since he can already stop time, that's also probably why he was gaining health in the middle of the match, he was probably reversing time for himself

This specific requiem Star Platinum Requiem was the embodiment of each Joestar's stand (might be DIO's as well since he stole Jonathan body which would explain the Twoh at the end)

MUGEN is such a classic. My favorite game made in the MUGEN engine is Mortal Kombat Project. There are a lot of versions of Mortal Kombat Project out there but the best one which I highly recommend is "MK Project Revitalized 2 Definitive Edition" by MKA. If you happen to be a Mortal Kombat fan then I highly recommend it.

I feel like SPR would allow infinite timestop, punches quicker than TWOH (even TWOH isn't canon), Insta Teleport, Let Star Finger pierce through anything, etc, etc, since Jotaro in Part 3 went to kill Dio (Immortal Vampire) just to get his mother back to good health, it proves that he would help/save people, and if that is his desire then the abilities that I just said would help him a lot.
Or he can literally manipulate reality in his favour like gaining more strength, speed and abilities than his opponent and healing himself and etc.
The abilities you stated only would help him out in battle. Only useful ability that could maybe help/save is timestop to grab someone out of the way out danger or like with Josuke and stopping poison.
spr is based off of a mugen video made by Xeno Bizarre Animator, where he gains all the powers of the joestars, since dio is linked with jonathan through the body, jotaro could use his abilities, im not sure what the book is referencing though, maybe a nod to dio's heaven.

being able to summon anything in range in a past time stop or something
star platinum requiem's ability would logically be 2 things imo
1. manipulation of mass, matter, atoms, particles, molecules, and etc. basically be can make you disintegrate with a single thought.
2. he can ultimately shift reality(no he cant rewrite or overwrite reality) he can make changes in details or features in reality. for example he can make you shrink or change your skin color or maybe even makes your bones broken but he cant completely erase you.
3. he can cause any fortune or misfortune on a person, basically similar to love train, WoU, or G.E.R., not only that but he can make specific things happen to you. dont be surprised if he pulls up and a shark appears out of thin air and flies towards you at light speeds to munch on your flesh. basically he can manipulate the events done unto you. you dont need to be within range or in pursuit of him. he just needs to think of you specifically and you're done.
Requiem is either complete, control over time itself. Or he’s using Dios stop time as well as his own so now he has the ability to stop time 2 times without delay. So basically he’d have his the worldo and dios ZA WARUDO and has 2 stands now but dios is under his control

Requiem stands are making stands more powerful also it gets new ability depended on users objective, for example giorno wanted to revange on diavolo and thats why he put him in inf death loop, jotaros objective would be to bring back his friends to live and destroy everyone in his way, thats why star platinum requiem could be very powerful stand
Try Diego Brando Au next, he has some cool moves and isnt as overpowered.
